It took the cab a while to find this place. and after a while i realised most cabs does not know the hotel name but only the street name. Unless you are staying in some 5 star establishements.
when we arrived we were greeted with umbrella and a smile by the armed security guard outside the hotel. but we waited quite long for us to check in after a long flight from malaysia and a bumpy ride from clark airport. so that kinda irritated me a bit. Paid rm 82 riggit per nite for superior room which is a bargain and 1000pesos refundable key deposit.
the rooms are spacious, clean, and pretty good for a budget hotel.beds are comfortable and free stable wifi too. toilets have heaters too.tv have about 40over channels. they also have spa on the 3rd floor and a swimming pool at lvl7.

now the downside will be the walls. as is not cement but wooden partitions in some parts. which i dont mind as its normal for budget hotels. but the next room was really noisy and singin songs up to 2 am at night. maybe im unlucky but i wonder hows the workmanship on the walls as i can even hear the car sounds eventhough my room is not facing the road.

breakfast is pretty simple american breakfast but adequate and tasty. try the tocino with eggs serve with garlic rice.

one thing i wanted to comment is the staff for their honesty. as in the afternoon after checking out the rooms i wanted to extend another night by asking the rates, but the girl at the reception told me if u book online u will get a much better rates. thats really honest of her. and the security was friendly .

overall not bad but i would recommend u too take the room far away from the main road.

I think this is our 5th stay in 24h. I've seen the hotel from the old management until transition to the new management so basically am not new in this place! Whether you booked online or just walk in...honestly, there is no difference the check in is slow (and I mean that)...They paint the room, but i think they forgot to change the old linen, bath towels (the management know what I am talking about) the towels are like a rug, the odor of the paint is bit irritating (the management should do something about this, did you know its hazardous to human health). The breakfast is still ok but I just find so funny they gave you a small slice banana...I think not better to serve it or just serve a small banana (like senorita) but a slice....duuuuhhhh.
So much more on my comments...Like I said its my 5th time I stay at 24H and the new management is losing the warmth and hospitality...And remember I say this because I am also running a "SERVICE ORIENTED ESTABLISHMENT" most of your employees busy surfing the net...As for the price well you cannot say "the price is so cheap but pls improve the service...I am saying this because I am a regular client am not just an ordinary person who just drop by :D

Thank you for your insightful comments. We apologize if our front desk had served you in a slow manner. We are continuously improving our service, and this is one aspect that we will surely give priority. We however would like to clarify that unless there is an expectation of a group booking, we maintain just the right number of staff to manage our front desk. It is possible that you have encountered our staff at the time of her duty shift, and therefore she was in the process of preparing her reports (hence the perception of net surfing). Nevertheless, we shall look into the check-in procedure, especially for regular clients, such as yourself. With regard to your comment on the towel, we have fully noted this. it was unfortunate that the delivery of our new set of towels have been delayed. On the smell of fresh paint, we are trying to manage the turnover of our newly renovated rooms (which were not only painted, but refurbished with wall paper and carpentry works, and equipped with new bathroom and floor tiles and some room amenities), which are becoming in demand. On your concern regarding breakfast, we try to provide an appetizing and affordable offering. However, your comments are points well taken, and we will commit to address them.

The bathroom was very dirty! Ants walking everywhere. The Air Condition not working. The hotel's is in the middle of slums, even thought it's described as located in Makati. Breakfast is uneatable. The staff is very nice, but the hotel is not recommended unless someone can't find any better place to stay.

I needed a reasonably priced place to stay in Makati to process my work papers abroad. I chose this place based on the proximity to the places I needed to visit and I was impressed with the pictures on their website.

I booked the sulit studio room online and was told upon check in that the room I booked was not available so they “upgraded” me to a one bedroom apartment. Ok great I thought. When I went to my room I was in for a shock. It looked old, tired and dilapidated. I was given a room on the 4th floor and you can hear the traffic from the street below all throughout the night.

I saw 2 small cockroaches in the small kitchenette. The TV was old and extremely small. The furnishings very minimal and looked cheap. The bell attendant told me that this “hotel” used to be a residential apartment building. Based on what I saw, in my horrible room I believed him. The bathroom tiles looked old and worn, the fixtures grimy from wear. The divider of the wall from the kitchenette/living room area was a painted plywood half wall. You could see the stains on the ceiling above. Even though I booked this room for a full 24 hrs, I couldn’t wait to leave. (I checked in at 8:00 pm and left at 4:30 am). Needless to say, with the noise from the street below, I could not sleep a wink.

Be very careful when you book this “roach motel”. The pictures on the website are very misleading. My only regret was that I did not take any pictures as no one should be subjected to staying in such a grimy place.

I do believe there are some newly renovated rooms but you must specify that upon booking. Also ask for a higher floor so you do not get the noise from the street below.

Ok. So like most travellers i booked this online, this time from Australia. I had a look at the website and the rooms looked nice, room service was advertised as being available and all in all it looked like a good deal.... little did i know...

Upon check in the girl at the front desk dropped an un-advertised 500 piso deposite for the key on me, but that was only the start of my troubles with this "hotel". When i had a look at the room my face dropped. It was NOTHING like on the pictures (and according to other guests i've spoken too, im not the only one with this experience). The window wasn't secured to the building (one can press on it and it simple pushes away into atmophere), the bathroom did not have a proper shower, room service was available in the form of take away from local resturants, there is (i say is as im writing this review during my stay still here) a massive amount of noise from the street and one can also hear other guests through the walls.

I also had money stolen from me, which management say they're "investigating", but a week later no one still has any answers for me which tells me straight up that no one really gives a hoot and i find myself down 2000 piso (taken from my wallet). It has almost destroyed my opinion of makati. The only saving grace this place has is free wifi and one particular staff member who has been going out of his way to try to make ammends for what has occurred (big thanks to Elman for that too).

When i sent feed back to their customer service department, i was given another room so i thought that things might be looking up. The excuse for the first one was "no other rooms were available upon you checking in". Which would normally be ok, but this place has 1500 rooms... apparently... so thats really no excuse at all. Room service is non-existant and if you want a milo or a coffee be prepared to get charged extra for it (be prepared to be charged extra for everything in fact), as they will charge you even after one of their staff members steals from you (they're saying it was the "on the job training" staff who are at fault, so they're not accepting responsibliity for it at all).

On top of all this the breakfast, while free, consists of 1 egg, 1 slice of toast, 1 thin slice of tomato, 1 thin slice of cuccumber, cheap ham/hotdog/half a sweet sausage and a butt load of rice. House keeping is a joke with the floors not being swept and the room not being turned down every day as the website suggests. Access to the pool table, swiming pool and dinning area after 8pm.

The room that i was moved into has luke warm water out of the hot tap and also seems to have some type of insect in it that chews on you in your sleep or, like me, while youre sitting at your laptop typing a review on the hotel.

This whole experience has very nearly ruined what was suppose to be a fantastic holiday. I will never come back to this hotel and my advice is go and stay some where near the mall of asia. I dont know what the hotel staff are like in that area, but it has to be better then this bollocks hotel.

I am actually leaving the hotel a day early simply due to the fact that i can't take this place for the entirety of my trip. Nothing is as advertised on the website and its criminal that they're allowed to get away with it.

I read the reviews others had written, and to be honest i thought they were just whinging and expecting 5 star accomodation at a 3 star rate... but no, they were spot on. This place f%$king sucks donkey balls. A two week stay here is simply hidious. No one does anything about concerns unless its in writing as the hotel owner/manager see's the emails too... if you talk to a staff member about the issues, no one does anything at all about it.

The 24H hotel has actually made my very depressed and anxious thanks to the MASSIVE breech of trust in stealing my money and if it weren't for help from back home i wouldn't be able to leave the country as there is a 550 piso tax on leaving the phils (thanks to someone stealing my cash).

Included are pictures of the actual hotel room, so people don't get fooled like i did by the pictures on the website.

I hope others don't make the same mistake as me in staying here. Avoid at all costs.

Seriously, the photos of the rooms were taken before World War 2.

Where to start? Let's start with the good news: we survived 3 nights. I wish there was a rank lower than 1, because I would give it 0.

No windows. Air conditioner leaked. No TV reception. Ants. No Toilet paper. No room to swing a cat. Ants.

Don't stay there (unless you are an ant.)

Check in was smooth we booked 4 rooms for all 8 of us. The security and staff are very friendly and helpful. We had an issue with the elevator but they fixed it in less then 10 minutes. The rooms were very nice and spacious with fridge/kitchen/microwave/dinning area but the only problem is there are no silverware at all. I hate cock roaches and I killed 4 small ones and 1 big one the first day but the next 2 days I did not see any, and our family in the other 3 rooms never saw any roaches. They have hot water in the shower so that was good. Breakfast is on the 7th floor next to the pool and jaccuzzi between 7:30am to 9am it was small but good, I really like the tocino/egg/rice meal, but mango juice is additional 35 pesos, they give coffee or orange juice for free. We had to give 500 pesos for each key for deposit if you lose it but it is refundable. Overall we all had a great time and would come back again when in manila.

There were cockroaches in the 2 bedroom apartment that my family and I stayed, most taxi drivers do not know the location of the hotel, the water in the pool was stagnant and dirty. I thought the rate was cheaper for 2 bedroom apartment with a kitchen till I found Tropicana Suites Residence Hotel at Malate which have superior facilities and better location and offers similar rates. Some of the staff were very friendly and helpful but I will not recommend it for more than 1 night stay.

The place is safe and accessible . The hospitality is second to none from security guard to staff / manager. They are all very helpful. I have stayed three times in this hotel between feb-mar 2011, happy and contented. I will stay in this place again if back to Phil, I will recommend this lovely place to my friend.

First thing is most people will choose this hotel for price and the area Makati. Technically it's Makati but far from it. Vito Cruz is the area. It's a working area half very rough other half fine.

Hotel is very easy to find. If taxi unsure say Vito Cruz pnr area and they you can work it from there. The hotel price was fantastic and so are the stuff minis the restaurant who are just rude. Room photos match the hotel I spend two weeks in a exc suite. Basic hair soap. Two towel business. Bible clothes hangers and TV. Desk for working if needed. They do have Wi-Fi but rarely is it fast.

Breakfast which was free I only ate once half the things are missing always and the ladies on the day was quite rude. I did have dinner once there Japanese which was OK price was medium range.

Basic shopping just head back up ocampo Rd you will see mecurey drug store. 7/11 and further up a shop wise. Don't bother going down the other way it's just full of Sari Sari stores and the area is quite rough. There is a mini store just across the Rd where the bank of China is for basic drinks and snacks.

Food wise once again near the mini mart at night is burger machine. Or head back down the street for chow long, KFC, mc Donald's, shakes etc. All delivery worth downloading food Panda as some of the smaller pizza and chicken places near by deliver.

Shopping wise for goods nothing in the area except car accessories and some clothes shops. There is a good massage spa across the hotel. And also a laundry service. Roughly 90peso a kg wash and 70peso shirt pressed. Massages for 1 HR are 250peso professional service. Inside the lobby is a reload machine for your phone or data. Tip smart 299 peso 7 day unlimited data .

Transport is hard as the area is full of one way St's. Getting a taxi can be time consuming and getting a taxi back nearly impossible so expect foreigners to pay meter plus 50. The LTr and pnr train station is near by if your game. Suggest downloading grab taxi app. Places like moa from hotel 150 peso. Makati are 100.

Security wise hotel very safe guards 24/7 and near by alot of security. Saying this at night careful as the area is full of homeless people and small gangs. Be very weary of kid gangs who hang out around the me Donald area they will distract you and then try to steal and pick pocket you.

Overall hotel 6/10
Location 2/10

Hopes this helps.
