Facility wise this hotel is fairly well appointed.
Rooms are generous and I really enjoyed they spacious shower .
On check in ,staff was courteous and helpful.
The location is conveniently placed central to all major venues .
The problem with this place is the standard of the room maintenance .
Stickers from previous party decorations clad the wall . An old COVID mask was clearly visible from underneath the bed .
Water and coffee sachets were not replaced daily .
Drinking Glasses were superficially cleaned and probably just rinsed in the bathroom sink .
The room was noisy as on my first night an all night disco (from neighbouring clubs)happened in the courtyard which we were facing .
I asked for the safe to be serviced twice as some areas of the key pad did not work . This was never completed .

The mini bar was empty ,this evidently being a practice since covid .
An ironing board was in the room which was nice to iron shirts for meeting but there was no iron.

The final comment regards the check out process which can take long dependant on how many guest are being attended to in the lobby .
On check out we were told in a somewhat condescending manner to take a seat whilst the room was being checked for
presumably missing items ……
After 20 minutes not having been called to say I was cleared I returned to the reception staff saying that the room had in fact been cleared and I could go .
Presumably my telepathic receptors failed me ….

All in all this place has potential but with current issues I would not stay again

This hotel, superficially, seems excellent. Spacious lobby, a small gym, nice pool, with sometimes noisy adjacent restaurant.

The room was large. Well-appointed with fridge, microwave and plates/cutlery. Large TV, with many English language TV News choices. Lots of drawers.

So, what's the beef? First, the area, which though not their fault, is NOT the place to be for tourists, despite travel reports, unless all you want to do is eat and drink in a mostly red light district. Manila is an hour or more away by cab (though cheap).

The hotel staff is mixed, many desk clerks with an almost Valley Girl cluelessness. No regional street map provided and it's as if it's not a big deal to them. They charge a deposit of $40, refundable AFTER they inspect the room. No other hotel would not let me leave without such inspection. I passed and they said they'd reverse the charge, instead of just pulling the pending status.

The sink hot water took five or more minutes, just to get warm. Reported, but they did nothing. The shower, better, but the controls position made you endure cold water initially, hard to escape.

English, so, so. Had to repeat a lot. Room safe had to have new battery installed. Barraged me with queries about cleaning, because I slept late, even though they service rooms 24 hours. Then, I left one day at 1 pm, illuminated MAKE UP ROOM sign, said hello to cleaner, and 4 hours later he did nothing. Reported, then service done. Restaurants only had QR code, no menus. Wifi never remembered me. So, this hotel is not so hot.

Stayed for 3 Days and 2 nights at Coro Hotel in Makati. It was at the midst of a typhoon when we stayed at the hotel. When we got in the hotel I was really amazed on how hospitable every one they even greeted my furrbaby.. we checked in on time at around 2:00 PM however as per my note in the reservation ( I want a room away from the elevator) we were still given a room right across the elevator I immediately called front desk and asked if we can move and yes we were allowed (same floor but away from the elevator).

I love the room its really spacious! Beds and pillows are so comfortable and huge too! Rooms and bathrooms are clean and had no issues with wifi.

The hotel’s location is in Poblacion Makati where there are several bars around and the hotel is located at a busy street given the noise that can be heard in our room. The hotel is also a few blocks away from Century mall.

Even though the weather does not permit I still tried the pool and stayed for around 10mins as it was freezing cold due to the typhoon.

What I really love about the hotel is that its a very pet friendly hotel.. the staff of the hotel also plays with my furrbaby she surely enjoyed her stay.

What I didn’t like about the hotel is that they only give you 1 key card as the lady in the front desk advised that they have 1 keycard policy per room.. not good at all because my husband went out several times and he does not have a keycard with him so I had to open the door for him every time he goes out. This is the only hotel I’ve checked in that has that policy.

We were supposed to extend our stay too bad as the hotel is fully booked because of an event they had that day.

I still highly recommend the hotel most especially to furrparents!

For those considering to stay at this hotel, please be prepared to be met with Rude employees and unknown charges.
The initial impression was good especially the door staff. However everything falls apart once you interact with their customer service.
1) they only provide 2 free small bottles of water per day.
2) soap and shampoos are not topped up during the stay and had to request specifically from their customer service when it ran out
3) dirty chairs and bed. I had itches and unknown bites after sleeping on their bed and chair.
That’s not the worst part, when we checked out. They billed a lunch and coffee to our room when we were out the whole day! It took them 1.5 hours to resolve the issue and their wrong. Throughout the whole dispute, they claim that I was the one in the CCTV when clearly it was a different person. They had to ask me at the end that if I knew the person and I said no.
Secondly they were rude through the entire dispute with no apologies even at the end of the whole dispute and even subtly racist. Just because I’m Chinese and they claim that the person who billed to our room was also a Chinese so I was charged for that unknown meal and coffee.
Lastly when we showed our evidence that we were out the whole day and couldn’t have been at the hotel, they took the photo and said we could go. No apologies for wasting our time and confusion.
If you want to experience the worst hotel in your life, feel free to check them out!

I was supposed to recommend this hotel to my friends, but we were treated wrong after ordering food through room service for lunch as we want to support the hotel to just get our food here instead of eating out, they cannot charge it to our room as they said we already exceeded our limit because our kids ordered their dinner last night, as if we couldn't pay them. we are still staying in this hotel we haven't checked out yet as of the moment and we even booked using our credit card and gave them all our identification IDs and even complied to give cash deposit for incidentals, and still they won't let us charge our food in our room. its the first for us to be treated as if we won't be able to pay them upon check out. won't order anything from this hotel anymore. we tried to talk to the manager about of it but still insisted that we cannot charge to our room. its such a hassle to get out and get money just to pay the food we ordered as we wanted to eat in the room and relax before we head to the wake of my husband's cousin for tonight. bad move Coro. pls change your policy.

The hotel is new. But the customer service is really awful. Check-in process takes too long. Parking is unavailable for guest, Unless you insist, even you ask the hotel if there is available parking prior to booking. The staff are lazy and lacks training. They will ask you to pay immediately if your request for a room upgrade as if you don't have any money to pay for it. They will ask if they can go to your room for the payment upon request. Never again on this hotel.

Had an almost perfect stay at Coro Hotel for 2 nights! Property is fairly new and well-staffed. Location is at the heart of Poblacion. Starbucks is just across the street, Century Mall is an easy 10-minute walk, and bars are plenty around the area. Was staying with my puppy and both of us had a really great time! We were able to roam around the hotel with almost no restrictions. Looks like guests with pets are being placed on specific floors so the other guests need not to worry.

Pros:
1. No Pet Fee

Zero pet fee. You just have to provide the refundable ₱4000 security deposit and no questions asked.

2. Well-trained Staff

Hotel has a good staff. Willing to assist you for your needs especially if you are a fur parent.

3. Good Sky Pool Bar

Food was surprisingly good. We ordered mac & cheese, buffalo wings, and a cheesecake. All were delicious! The cheesecake is silky smooth and probably one of the best ones I had.

4. Nice Rooms

Bed was comfy and pillows were plenty. Hot shower was pretty good too. Soap and shampoo smelled great.

5. Reasonably Priced

You are definitely getting more than what you paid for. Great property for the price point.

Cons
1. Wifi

Spotty connection and restrict 1 device per user by default. Cheapens the experience.

2. Parking

Few parking spaces. Property has a car rotisserie.

3. Breakfast Buffet

This is just probably me nit picking but the selection can be improved. Bacon should be a mainstay in the menu. One time they had longganisa, hotdog, and sausage served.

We stayed in this hotel last holy week. Overall we had a great experience.
These are the things we like
1. Most of the staff are friendly, courteous and accommodating.
2. Room size is great for a family of 4.
3. Location is great as there are nearby convenience store, mall and fast food restaurants.
4. what we liked most is how the sales manager (Karen) took good care of us from the time I made the inquiry till the time of our check-out. She made sure to accommodate my requests especially on the virtual room viewing and other requests. She is one of the best sales manager I was able to come across with.

Below are things that, for me, needs to be improved.
1. There are some staff that are not that friendly (one is in the dining area where you take your breakfast)
2. System should be updated so that check-in staff can see the inclusions of the booked room (we had to request for the stub for our welcome drinks which is not given on the day of our check-in. I just remember this when I overheard someone in the bar requesting also their welcome drinks but they also haven't gotten their stub)
3. You can hear the sound of the adjacent room especially if they party hard the whole night till morning.
4. Some fixtures needs to be repaired (which for me is somehow acceptable since they had just opened)
5. They had limited parking for big cars, although I think their parking is still under construction.

Given the chance, we will still try to stay to this hotel.

I chose this hotel based on positive reviews, so I'm leaving this review to help others. The hotel was clean and tidy. The breakfast was good but limited in options. The pool was nice and open until midnight but was outdoor and on 17th floor. So it was pretty windy and couldn't be used most of the time. These were the positive points. Now let me start with the downsides. We were 3 families traveling together. I have a little baby and I had to leave her with my travel companions some times, so we requested for rooms on the same floor but was not available. Which made it super hard to travel between floors because for understandable security reasons the elevator just works with room key card and just goes to the floor which your room is located on. They just give you one card per room so taking the keycard means no electricity or airconditioning for the person staying in the room. We asked for a spare keycard and the reception refused our request due to " security concerns". Then the next night, at the middle of the night, someone with a hotel uniform opened our door and entered our room. SO MUCH FOR "SECURITY CONCERNS"!!!
I informed the front desk in the morning and they have been checking for a while! Supposedly they're gonna inform me by email! Still waiting on that and will update this post if I receive any news.

We regularly hold our staycation in this hotel since they are a pet-friendly establishment. In our most recent stay, we notice the improvement of their facilities especially the restaurant beside the pool. As always, they serve good food with big servings that would satisfy your cravings and value for money. Their room is spacious with a soft and comfortable bed that will ensure your comfort during your stay.

One thing that i love about this hotel being a fur parent, is how friendly this hotel is in terms of pet accomodation. Among all the pet-friendly hotels that we visited, they are sincerely the best. They don’t charge any pet fee and they allow the pets to be with their owners in almost all their facilities. They even have an isolated section in the breakfast area for their guests with their pets. But of course, every pet owner should also observe the standard pet policies and etiquette in respect to other guests.

I also would like to commend the courtesy & warm accommodation of all hotel executives & staff. Their GM is very hands-on in accommodating to the needs of their guests at the reception. They are all polite to their guests and their customer service is very much appreciated.

This is a highly recommended hotel if you want to have a nice and relaxing staycation in the busy city of Makati.
