the hotel after being taken over/run by OYO has put a bar/nightclub on the 5th floor and the noise is unbelievable. we were on the 2nd floor and still could hear it coming though the pillow as you tried to sleep.
If ever the owner reads this, my sincerest apology for what I am about to say. I don’t wanna question the way on how you train your staffs. My partner and I have been staying in your hotel for more than 10 times now. Obviously, we kept on coming back because AT FIRST we didn’t see anything wrong on the service that you are rendering, well, pertaining on the rest of your team. HOWEVER, tonight. We’ve had a horrible experience with your front desk staff. Here are the concerns we would like to raise to the management: 1. WE ARE RETURNING GUESTS. It costs 0.00 to thank your guests for their loyalty. Well anyways, returning guests or first timer guests, show some courtesy. 2. As we entered the property, we didn’t get any “Good evening!” nor a smile. We didn’t even get a “How may I help you” nor “Checking in?” as we reached the desk. 3. We went outside to have some dinner, but unintentionally left the key in the room, admitting we also forgot our room number. As we got back, we asked assistance however, she was having this pissed off expression in her face. She made it worse when she made a “tsk” sound. HOW. RUDE. CAN. YOU. BE. Don’t even know how to render a quality service. We are about to ask for a complimentary water but disregarded already because of her treatment. *** To the management: Generally, I am saying this for your management to take action on training your staffs more. And this is on behalf of all those poor guests who have somehow experienced her service. The guests aren’t staying in your hotel for free. It’s your responsibility to hire staffs who would meet the quality service that you raised when you were promoting your property. ** To the staff: I understand that there would be times when you would feel frustrated probably because of the busyness or personal problems, but you’re at work. You’re getting paid. WORK for it with passion and dedication.…
It was my first time ever to Manila, the Philippines and I felt lucky for I chose this hotel. It was very easy to locate and move by a taxi from Ninoy (luckily I had a travel partner to share the cost). The deluxe room looked really deluxe to me, with a shoe rack, a kitchen separated from the bedroom with a sliding door. There was even a soft sofa couch which was so useful for me when I and my partner slept separately. One minus point is about the bed which was too small, even smaller than a single bed, I guess.
Having been given an unbelievably raucously noisy room, I discovered that there was no hot water for the shower, After a shower in coldish water I found the sheets of my bed were covered with excrement and faeces and what looked like pubic hair!! I spent a good part of the next day trying to speak to the manager. I ws given different names, told she was out/busy/would call back.I never succeeded in speaking to this utterly delinquent person who is obviously totally incompetent and doesn't give a damn about the hotel guests. I was then given another quieter room with a small window facing the air conditioning unit, and have now discovered the toilet does not flush!. This is essentially a budget hotel, which I chose because of its proximity to where I have some meetings. My advice is to avoid this hellhole like the plague--almost better to sleep in the street. Keep well vclear …
, we got room 538 . a good room but it's started to get real noisy in the room at around 5:30am At least in my room, the blame should be beside the street itself on the windows that not sealed completely The staff was very polite and helpful especially when we needed to store the luggage ,for a few days :) In short it's was very good experience
Purchased via Agoda and got a room for only 1300. Definitely great value. My only negative comment is that our room (room # 316) was facing the street so you can hear all the noisy jeeps and cars passing. I woke up at 6am to loud street noises. I suggest you request a room that doesn't face the street. Another note, i wish management would change the room lights. The room is so dim especially the bathroom. It's so creepy! Good thing i was staying with someone or I'd be scared to spend the night there alone. Opt for brighter lights please.
I got a very good deal from Agoda which allowed me to book their one bedroom for only Php 300. I wasn't expecting anything special since I already stayed in another Oyo branch in Makati. However, I was pleasantly surprised to learn that the room I got has its own living area, kitchenette, and separate bedroom. The entire building is obviously a bit old but if you're not a picky traveler, this hotel works just fine (I think it was meant to be a condominium based on the room plan). It also has a flat screen television and a small fridge which I very much appreciated considering the minimal amount that I paid. The staff were friendly. I requested for a hair dryer and someone delivered it to my room two minutes after I hung up the phone. I also tried their on-site restaurant which has a long list of options. The food was good! My only concern was the very small elevator which is not ideal for people with claustrophobia. I don't think it can accommodate more than two people at a time. Other than that, my stay was surprisingly pleasant. Artina Suites is now one of my favorite budget hotels in Makati!…
Stayed 2 nights 16-18 November 18 Budget hotel does what it says it does, clean, friendly, basic accommodation, good food and good rooftop bar. Safe did not work in our room. Had a triple room, good air conditioned but no view at all. WiFi could not take 3 devices! Would I stay again.... maybe if on a tight budget.
Always a pleasure to stay at Artina. Basic amenities but you wouldnt mind it because of the friendly people and prompt response to your requests. Room was very spacious - it has its own mini kitchen, dining area and sala.
Staff is really friendly. Location is great. Near Century City Mall so food and grocery shopping is not bad at all. Close enough to the night life which is a quick taxi ride away. Bar on the 5th floor is also awesome.
