I had a night over Manila and wanted to stay in Makati so I found that hotel where the reviews were great. Well it’s basic but great it isn’t. The main thing RedDoorz lacked was hospitality. At night on my arrival the receptionist was almost hostile. When I straggled with setting up the safe he wouldn’t answer the phone for an hour till I went down to find him lounging on the sofa. The morning lady that informed me that they have no breakfast (I thought I paid for it...) wasn’t any nicer. It didn’t help when I found that the listed price was half of what I pre paid I gave RedDoorz a star appreciation of their ability to find the two less hospitable people in a country that hospitality is its trade mark
No problem encountered during check in, staff was friendly. A deposit of P1,500 upon checking in. Room is small it would be best for solo travelers. A ref, safe, hot kettle and microwave was a plus. Location is at the back of St Paul College Makati school.
NO reservation. They threaten to call the police and do not comply with the reservation. I arrived with my Booking reservation, and they tell me that it is complete, that they prefer to give the rooms to other clients with more nights booked. When complaining, call Booking and ask for compensation, the police appear and threatens me to stop, and tols me:" if you agree to go out and loose your reservation, you will not have problems" I agree to lose the reservation and payment. No compensation.
This place goes also by the name Nano suites, which is a bit confusing. The room was not very clean. Only the floor was properly cleaned, but there was dust all over the place. It seems the staff are not very capable in this hotel. The 3rd day they didn't even clean my room, although I put the sign on my door in the morning already. There were also a few cockroaches, ants and other bugs crawling around in my room. You can find much cleaner hotels in the area for a similar price (Red planet, Durban, etc). The bed was too soft. It's also not very near any ATMs, the nearest 7/11 is about 100meters walk. There is a vegan resturant Cosmic just opposite 7/11.
For an budget place I can highly recommend this place They all helpful friendly and most important it’s clean!!! I recommend to book tru the website to receive the promos 20% NEW20 Coffee n breakfast is cheap.
This hotel is also known as Nano Suites, Makati. Located about 10km from Ninoy Aquino International Airport T3; it took me 30 minutes by GRAB taxi to hotel at a cost of 240 Pesos. Hotel has a restaurant serving local food at reasonable price. Room was very clean, complete with TV having one English movie channel, microwave oven, aircon, electric kettle, safe box and hot water shower. They supply two 0.5 litres water bottle per day. Towels provided. Yeah, as complained by many guests, the bathroom is a bit small but sufficient. Located within walking distance to A Venue Mall and Century City Mall and plenty of restaurants & entertainment around. GRAB taxi transport is cheap (compared to Malaysia) to move around easily. If on tight budget, jeepneys are available everywhere. Had a pleasant stay & would definitely be back.…
