After our favorite place to stay in the Makati shopping area ceased operations, we've been looking for a new place to stay at in the area. We looked at several options and went with The Charter House. • Room – Our room was the Superior Room that has 2 single beds. It was quite spacious. There's adequate open space and a closet with doors as full-body mirrors for your stuff. Two seats fit under a long desk facing a mirror that's good for eating, paperwork, serve as a dresser, etc. You can turn off the light of the entire room and use the light on the side (pantry). The room is equipped with a cable TV that has a lot of channels, phone, safe, electric kettle, and small refrigerator. The pantry has no consumables. There's also a good number of sockets (220V two/three-prong and 5V

The location of the hotel is excellent and it is closer to greenbelt. The only thing I don't like is the room. As soon as u enter the room u can smell humidity inside the room. It feels like the room never been cleaned even though the housekeeping clean.

I arrived 1 hours too late for breakfast first day: No problem. I arrived 15 min too late for breakfast next day so I ordered american breakfast (extra). Result: they "converted" to free complimentary breakfast. Rooms are clean and nothing to complain about, safety box in room. Restaurant is not a gourmet restaurant but ok. Nice top floor pool (sun disappear at noon though) and very shallow (4 feet only). Location is perfect - Greenbelt is just across the street. Absolutely recommendable.

I have stayed at the Charter House numerous times over the past year. My last two visits were unsatisfactory. The exterior of property is currently under renovation. The worker's start pounding and making noise at 8:00am until 5:00pm. Sign at the elevator says this will continue until November of 2019. I have lats of black mold in the bathrooms. I stayed in 2 different rooms this month and both were unacceptable. I spoke with housekeeping and they laughed and said all rooms had mold but the would try and clean. Needless to say they tried but were not very successful. Its amazing what a little bit of bleach can do to kill mold. I guess they were not taught that in housekeeping 101. Current room rates are to expensive due to exterior renovations.

Was in Greenbelt when an intense downpour happened. Streets were getting flooded left and right. Driving home is impossible. Greenbelt guards referred me to this place. It was good as it's literally located across the mall. Rooms are clean. Very comfortable place to stay dry for the night.
