Location is great, but amenities of rooms is minimum. Room is spacious (bec we booked a VIP room), aircon working great. Although there is a mini fridge, a kettle, and a sink, NO utensils/coffee/tea provided. Glasses were NOT clean although covered with wraps (and since they were 5in tall glasses, it was hard to use the hand to reach inside to rid of the stains). Bathroom : did NOT provide hand towels (my pet peeve) bec i dislike wasting tissue to wipe hands or the side of sink after washing. Housekeeping knocked on our door after 2pm to clean, and dont know how they really clean bec they only spent about 10 mins to fix bathroom, bedroom.... and didnt sweep the living room (maybe they were shy bec we were there, i just arrived from airport)...
My 1st trip to Manila. Overall the cost is cheap & the people there are very friendly & helpful. Including the hotel staff & service are very friendly & helpful. The hotel is strategically located to Green Belt (best shopping centre) just not more than 1 minutes walk distance. It is surrounded with many halal arab restaurants. Next to hotel is 7-Eleven sales halal food. The fried chicken is very delicious. Especially my unfortunate ordeal my foot had sprained & could not walk properly. They assisted me going to taxi. In spite of the hotel rate is expensive i do not mind to stay there next trip.
The hotel is located in the middle of the CBD, everything you need is a walk away, no need to commute. A convenience store with access from the hotel is also available. If you have a car, the hotel does not have a parking space (or their spaces are reserved for the managers, I was told) though the staff said that guest cars can be parked at the mall. The rooms are clean and food is ok. Just be careful in the bathroom; there is a small faucet on the wall that I think is a safety hazard. It has sharp edges and could cause a lot of harm if someone slipped or walked through it without noticing. At least that's what I saw in Rm. 408. For smokers, smoking is permitted only at the open area of the penthouse/pool.
This is definitely a budget hotel based on its price. Unlike other budget hotels it has its own merits starting with its location, right at the center of the business district. The room I had was spacious and clean. The table and two chairs are helpful esp. if the guest has some working documents to attend to.The staff were responsive and polite. They could however further improve on the airconditioning unit as it is manual and a bit noisy. As regards bathroom, adding a hook at the back of the door is a must. I hope they can also add an additional towel holder on the glass enclosure. The hand shower is a bit too high for short people like me. They could probably do something about it. I would stay at this hotel again.
This is an old property but just newly renovated, eventhough you still can smell the old building. The room itself is quite spacious and clean bathroom, good hot shower. They make up the room everyday but not sure they clean it well (i left a tissue on floor near bed, but they did not clean it). It is suggested to choose the room with window/view so you still have sun lights to your room, their other room with no window/view is quite dark with no sun lights. Location very strategic, right in front of green belt park which you can find many food, very easy. Also steps away from shopping malls. Breakfast is plated, not buffet. Enough portion with so so taste.
