Location- Simply fantastic. Across the street from Greenbelt mall with easy access to plenty of shopping. Plenty of food choices within walking distance and some great coffee too. Services like laundromat, money changers etc are also nearby, less than 5 min walk. There is a convenience store in the ground floor lobby. It would be hard to find a better location.

Facilities- Fairly typical of a Philippines 3 star hotel, the room was a little rough around the edges but housekeeping do a good job and the rooms are kept clean. Good aircon in the room. WiFi was ok in the room and resto area. Roof top pool area was really nice, it seems a bit newer and was great on a hot day. We stayed here a number of times between other destinations and it was a perfect option.

Service- Very good from all staff, particularly check in staff and housekeeping.

We will definitely stay at this hotel again.

The property is a bit old, the AC in the room is very noisy and the included breakfast has very limited options for western standards. Other than that we had a comfortable 2 nights stay.
The location is great- just across the street from Greenbelt and 20 minutes drive to the airport, rooms are very simple but clean and staff are very friendly. We would definitely come back for another quick stay in Metro Manila.

The property is very close to shopping malls and restaurants, it's just accross the street and some of the front desk staff are not accommodating. The security guards are awesome. The property is very old, AC is noisy and there was not even a hot shower during my first day. Beds are okay. I didn't see something special or unique about the property.

I stayed here for three nights and it was really nice, lovely room and very helpful staff nothing was a problem to them all. I left after three days to go to Boracay for five days but then returned again to a really nice room , this time I went up to the roof top in the morning with my coffee but also after I returned at night with a glass of wine. The views are amazing from up on the roof ,Very safe and very quiet , again the staff are always polite I also got my laundry done which was a great service your bag of laundry gets piked up by 10am and brought back washed and ironed by 5pm brilliant! The Greenbelt Mall is just across the road , the 7/11 is next door for any supplies you might need , defenently recommend The Charter House

This hotel is a TOP NOTCH! A pretty basic hotel where you pay less for the room but you get more awesome and extraordinary services. 💯 Their food is appetizing, location is perfect, closest to high end malls, banks, hospitals, convenient stores etc.

My wife and I spent a convenient Holiday week in the Charter House. We live 50 miles north of Manila, but enjoy going there during the Christmas season since the city is not crowded. The rooms are pleasant as is the price and staff. The food is only fair, but there are many excellent places to eat in the shopping malls across the street.

Reasonably priced. If you want a perfect location near a Catholic Church, near shopping malls, safe, clean but affordable, this is the place. Staff are very nice. Beside it is a luxury hotel. It is simple but if you want to save, it is best.

I have stayed at the Charter House Hotel for 5 years now making numerous trips per year, I would consider myself to be a frequent and good client. The hotel is in an ideal location and I have found the staff to be both friendly and helpful. On my last visit, I broke a wine glass in my room (my fault) and the management charged me 90 PHP ($1.58) for the broken glass. I informed them that I would pay the bill but if that was the case I would never stay there again and would be sure to tell everyone I see that thi is not a good place to stay. The irony is that I always tip the doorman 100 PHP for carrying my bags to and from my room, the cost was nothing but the principle is more important.

We usually stay at this hotel when traveling with kids and the family because of its location which right beside greenbelt5. This is actually a 2 star hotel in a 5 star location. The place has not changed much since the 80s, but it still is popular among local tourists.

Check in was easy, but you still have to call them to reserve a room as they don't have a website still...the rooms are small but clean...the carpets have been changed, the bathrooms refurbished, and the wall papers looks the same...although its old and has seen better times it is clean and doesn't smell moldy.

Room is cleaned everyday and they do change the towels, soap is provided but they provide those very cheap types - better bring your own..hot shower is available.

Free breakfast is very basic but filling...served at the 2nd floor (actually its in the mezzanine), if your more than 6 foot tall you might hit the ceiling...

You may actually get better rates at other nearby hotels, especially the ones at makati avenue but then you have to ride the taxi if you need to come to greenbelt or glorietta area. Charter house would only be actually cheaper if you travel with kids and in groups or families as you may get connecting rooms and they are not strict with the number of people staying in the room.
