We were extremely unhappy with that hotel, I can't even explain how bad it was. At fist, they have HIDDEN taxes and VATS, all together we paid 2,693 PHP per one night, despite different price provided on booking.com, And for that price we got - bed sheets FULL COVERED in stains, - Broken toilet ( when you flush- water come out), -Air conditioner with the sound of a AIRBUS Engine , me and my boyfriend haven't sleep all night, because of this sound, it was really crazy sound I record it on my phone. -Unfriendly girl on reception yesterday at 9 pm. -no wifi in room, very slow wifi in smelly lobby. - dirty everything Please believe me, its the most terrible points, as we also had cockroaches, "well-used" toilet and dirty floor, no complimentary water, no cups , no kitchen ware ( so the kitchen they provide in room is completely useless). Also its not a real hotel, its more like a condo with no service and local people living there. Originally we booked a hotel for 4 nights, but we checked out after one night of torture and we had to run around searching for other place to stay. I really do not recommend it to anybody.…
Isabelle Royale is located near Makati Avenue and just a couple of minutes walking distance from A. Venue Mall where you have shops, a supermarket and restaurants. Just near A. Venue Mall they also have a small night market with local food and live performances, nice and perfect for a tight budget! If you prefer a more upscale area like the Ayala Triangle or Greenbelt, you can get there with a taxi within minutes, depending on the traffic of course. As an alternative to taxi and heavy traffic, it felt safe to walk down the Makati Avenue to get there, even in the evenings. The room was clean and had a nice view over the Makati skyline at night. WiFi was working good even in the room. The room was equipped with a refrigerator and a water boiler. The AC was the old style but it went fairly good to adjust the temperature. A simple but ok breakfast was included and served at the top floor. The staff was friendly and helpful. I did find some cockroaches in the room and therefore I can only give a 3 for the Cleanliness.…
This hotel is quite close to the airport and they also provide a free transfer. However it is located in a quite dodgy area, I wouldn't recommend walking out when it's dark. Air condition is very noisy. It's nothing special, it's just ok for a 1 night transit. I wouldn't stay longer.
The reception are Very small and dingy The staff are good and they try hard The rooms are very small and smelly Shower is in the middle of the room and the bed are ia just fit the bed Aircondition is next to your bed head or at the top of your bid and very old and noisy and it goes all night beds are small and very old and sheets are off colour and very old The is hardly any furniture in the rooms and everything there is very old and empty There is not a glass or a cup in the rooms The shower is very small and dirty I walked from shower to my bed 2 miters and my feet where black The floor is very dirty There is balcony with no chairs and very dirty Close to night clubs and restaurant It is over priced and dirty
Dont mind staying in Isabelle if I am travelling by myself, but won't stay here with my family. There is only 1 lift and many times it not working. 20 mins walk to Makati. With 4 kids, its hard to take public transport. The rooms are dark, small..
it a very bad dirty hotel. The Reception is unfriendly and it seems to be a desaster if you want to check in. Dont go there. there are better hotels around. Kant recomand at all. Bad Service, loude ac and bath used and bad mainananced
Stayed here for one night only. Just to get a good sleep before flying out again. We arrived at around 4 am from Banaue via night bus and was welcomed by a grumpy receptionist ( maybe she was tired too) and was told that the earliest check in was 5:30 am as she then proceeded to chat with her companion and ignore us :( Free wifi is only at the lobby. Have to pay more to get it in the rooms.
For the price, it was OK for staying one night. The room was basic, but clean. Hot water in shower. But the worst service weve experienced so far in the phillipines. Sour staff all over. Free wifi only in reception. Had to pay extra for wifi in the room.
I stayed here a couple times in Oct. and this hotel is not for the high maintenance traveler. The rooms were clean but there were a few roaches (we're talkin the Philippines here). If you want your room made up just leave your key as you go out and it will be done. Breakfast was fine but I went up to dining room on 10th floor. I don't know who booked Anneth B.'s room but I stayed next door to her on Oct. 30 and paid about $20 US. I had a friend visit and the front desk just rang to make sure it was OK. One time was about 2 AM. Not a luxury hotel but fine for savvy budget traveler. I just went to lobby and got free wi-fi.
I and my friend stayed at room 903 on October 27 to 30th, 2015. It cost about 13,900 if in Peso for 3 nights. Bad side: 1. Not at all customer friendly. Lady at the reception having a blank expression when we asked her if possible to check our baggage in early as we are heading to a conference. She answered in very a cold irritated tone " no maam! your check-in is 2pm. I asked again " would it be possible for us to deposit our luggage and we'll get them when we come back this evening" She didn't answered me but turned to the guy beside him and said to the guy " go show them where they can put their stuffs. At 10 pm, we came back to the hotel. We asked the reception lady our luggage and instead of answering, she called the errand boy to get our luggage from the compartment behind her desk. 2nd night, another friend from the conference came with us to the hotel because I wanted to give a small present I bought for her. we arrived at the hotel at around 10pm. We were enjoying our conversation and the phone rang saying " if your visitor doesn't come out before 11pm, we will charge you an amount good for one night. I said " we just arrived not even an hour ago." She said in a very unfriendly tone, our hotel policy is no visitor after 11pm.So if you want to keep your visitor for an hour more, we will charge you an amount equivalent to one night". The phone is dropped. On the 4th day, we went for lunch and came back to check out at 13:30. The lady said " we will charge you for 2 hours late check out! our check out time is 12:00 and now its 13:30". I and my friendly said " so why charge for 2 hours while we are only late for 1 hour and 30 minutes"? The lady reception said irritated, "We dont charge per half hour so we will charge you for 2 hours!" 2. The wifi for whole day cost about $12 (500 Pesos). 3. Building is old- its like an old abandoned apartment and got it refurbished badly. Tiles are worn out, walls are dirty, wood such as walls and furniture are old and most edges are broken. 4. Very Noisy surrounding even the windows are closed. Not easy to sleep for people who are sensitive to noise. 5. Toilet is stained, toilet bowl is white but looks like time turned it yellowish, towel handle is rusty, sink is damaged. 6. Three full bags of garbage of the previous customer were hid in a cabinet under the sink. Something was smelling bad when we got inside and when we checked under the sink, it was full of rotten garbage. 7. The Aircon is so bad that air coming out of it smells like wind from the drainage. 8. Breakfast hall looks like an a cottage that was abandoned for decades. The food quality is like those food along the highway stalls. 9. the drinking water at the kitchen/dining room, had a lid plastic inside it. I told the guy that some plastic is inside the water dispenser. He didn't reply me at all but ignored what I said. I saw same plastic bottle lid inside the water dispenser the next 2 days. 10. Elevator is very small. Its door closes so fast- exactly one second. We got squeezed every time we enter. 11. The most important to know, this hotel DOES NOT HAVE EMERGENCY FIRE EXIT! as soon as we enter, my friend noticed there is no fire exit. We looked out the window and checked all around the hotel in and outside and there is no fire exit! I wonder why MAKATI government gave a permit for this hotel to operate! It is the dirtiest hotel I have ever been!!!…
