Stayed here for 2 nights in Feb on a weekend getaway shortly before the world fell apart. Booked on Agoda, prepaying around $65 SGD a night including a basic breakfast. Only 2 devices allowed for WiFi. Room was small but adequate. Only 1 towel provided despite booking for 2 adults - had to ask for the additional towel. Same problem again after cleaning on the 2nd day. Double bed with a very hard mattress. Combined shower/bath in bathroom. Some noise from slamming doors and aircon. Friendly staff. Friendly staff. Good location in the night-life area of Makati. About a 20 min walk to the malls.

This was my second stay at this hotel. I stayed for 5 nights. Pros: great location, clean rooms and friendly staff. Negative: I was assigned a room on the 6th floor and told there a water pump noise and they were working to fix it. The noise was non stop during my entire stay making rest or sleep difficult. They said they could not move me to a similar room on a lower floor. I was not offered anything to compensate for the inconvenience. If you have not already booked and paid for the room I strongly recommend finding another hotel until the water pump is fixed.

This hotel we stayed for the first two nights. It's old muggy ,Dirty and substandard hotel. They charged us extra for early check-in. And still did not offer breakfast that was included. We were traveling for the last 30 hours. Bed sheets were not changed there were hair and other body secretions . Room is very small.Towels are worse then your cleaning towels. Area is not good at all. Pictures look great . Don't go by the pictures and read all reviews especially negative 😬.

I did not expect the room to be bigger than I thought. I was expecting that it will just be a basic standard room, considering the price, but there's more space and the room didn't feel cramped. Bathroom is bigger that I expected as well, complete with toiletries. Nice and simple hotel within your budget that you can stay in if you want to explore within the Makati area. The hotel is walking distance from Poblacion as well, which is an area that you can explore for night-out with friends. There are many restaurants in the area too so if you just want to do food tripping and explore different restaurants, then this is the hotel for you. Breakfast is not a grand buffet but there's a variety to choose from (plated Filipino and Continental Breakfast). Unlimited bread, cereals and fruits are available during breakfast too.

Clean. Staff are friendly. Located in Makati; close to the red light district. The rooms are a bit dated. Breakfast is very limited -Need more options. Also they will charge for an extra glass of milk! WiFi is available throughout the hotel but needs reconnecting each time you return to the hotel or change floors. We arrived early, given no option of early check in. We returned at check-in time and were told they had to check the room was ready?! Overall Good value for money as the price is cheap but based on the breakfast alone, I wouldn’t stay here again.

Just got back from 5 nights here. I had an upper floor room at the back. Very very clean Room size is not as big as it appears in photos( of course ) but is the typical hotel size room. Big enough. Staff were extremely accommodating and clearly well trained in hospitality. I interacted with several different one and all had the same friendly attitude. Excellent staff. Management- take a bow. Location- maps make the hotel seem further away from Burgos than it actually is. I could walk there in maybe 2 minutes. Noise- no noise from Burgos, very very minor traffic noise at peak times. I would say very quiet given it's Makati and the closeness to the action. Naturally some noise from other guests, but it is not a cheap hotel so other guests generally considerate. Hot water- excellent and never ran out. Wifi- small deduction here. Speed was quite good but drops out were more frequent than acceptable. Needs a bit of modernization. But really very minor. Breakfast- adequate, food quality was good. Choice/range could be improved a bit. eg Cereals could offer granola or at least a healthy option rather than the sugar laden ones. Yoghurt could be added Security-- first class and on the job. Overall I was very impressed and would definitely stay again.

+ beautiful hotel with spacious elegant rooms + a very pleasant correct and attentive staff +rooms clean and completely equipped + good airco. + a quiet and serene atmosphere. Thumbs up for that Unfortunately a few unnecessary cons, which is a pity, otherwise would have given it 5 stars : - we live in 2019 , but the internet connection seems from 1995: a lot of interruptions and very low speed in the room . - : the menu card in the resto promises a lot but is astonishing overpriced for what is offered - remote control tv needs replacement Overall love this hotel that does not deserve the mentioned cons. So i would say : invest a little ... it will pay back :))

Booked this hotel for my niece’s pre-debut photoshoot because of its Art Deco design. This hotel exceeded our expectations. We enjoyed our stay and ended up booking another night. The staff from the manager to the front desk to the restaurant manager to the security are extremely helpful, professional and polite. They went out of their way to make us feel welcome. The hotel is fairly new. Very clean, quiet and relaxing. Breakfast is basic but enough. Had lunch there one day and the food was good. Location is close to everything...malls, stores, restaurants. We were pleasantly surprised that there’s a good hotel in this side of Makati. Room rates are reasonable. Good sized rooms with basic amenities. They could use new towels as the ones we got are already showing wear and tear. Water overflows from the tub to the floor when you shower - it must be a flaw with the construction design. Overall, we were very satisfied with our stay and we wont hesitate to stay here again.

My wife and I were on our way to Cubao for a Valentine's Day dinner event, but got pinned down in the Makati inbound and outbound traffic for more than two hours. We decided to wiggle our away from the traffic and look for an alternative place for a quiet dinner within Makati. And we were pleasantly surprised to find Herald Suites at Polaris with sufficient parking spaces and its Aurora Cafe, almost all for ourselves. It was only after we ordered foods, when other customers came in for their dinner. We were professionally served by a Hotel & Restaurant Management (HRM ) trainees. Lesson learned - Don't cursed the traffic, just look for lots of nice places inside Makati sans traffic woes.

A little pricey for our budget, but they were willing to keep our second suitcase for a week while we traveled to another island. It's in a slightly seedy part of town with prostitutes and expensive restaurants. It's a veryspotlessly clean and pristine hotel though, and we enjoyed our stay. Bed comfortable, AC excellent, shower hot and refreshing. For cheap eats, there is a small local family restaurant serving a Filipino buffet of homemade food nearby. The breakfast wasn't much to speak of however. For someone on a gluten-free diet there were very few options except an egg.
