Our home was fumigated and we had to spend the night elsewhere. Hop Inn was the nearest and most reasonably priced hotel. I was OK, for the money I spent it was just right. Air conditioning was OK but there not enough pillows.

I was there one night, alright to sleep but not again, the Nest Nano just down the street is much better and a lower price. The floors are hard old vinyl, it just feels low class, but Makati is super cool as is Burgo St.

Saan ka naman nakakita ng hotel room na ang BATH MAT pinapatong sa ibabaw ng kama? And they dont even clean the toilet well. Maski magbigay ka ng tip sa HK everyday they will not give you a good service. Maingay pa! The door keeps banging pag naglilinis sila. Kapag nagreklamo ka mas lalong gagawin. We complained at the Front Desk since day 1, but to no avail. We extended our stay to know the consistency of this bad service.

My boyfriend and I stayed here twice during our visit in the Philippines. 1st stay was for 3 nights and I arrived 3am and my bf 9am the next day. I was exhausted and filthy from my flight and having a swift check-in was great. I was given a room on the 3rd floor and I asked the receptionist to give me a room on higher floor, if possible. She told me that it was the only room available that night but I can ask again the following day. My boyfriend couldn't be bothered changing rooms so we stayed there. The room was clean but basic - they have comfortable beds and clean bathroom, things we look for in a hotel, since we are mostly out anyway. Would be nice though if other amenities are provided like fridge, toiletries and slippers. One thing I noticed though, with regards to key cards was after a night, the keys were not working anymore and receptionists had to re-issue. Happened twice. We're staying for few nights so that did not make sense to me. On our 2nd stay, the lady who checked me in the first time was the one in-charged as well. I didn't get her name but I want to commend her, it was very thoughtful of her to remember us and gave us the highest floor. Yay! The view was amazing, overlooking Mandaluyong, Makati Ave and Rockwell. It was so pretty at night! It gets pretty noisy because it's along the road though. 100% would come back. Thank you, Hop Inn Makati!

The place is exactly as you see on their photos. The room we stayed in was a bit spartan but very clean. The staff were warm and friendly, which made our check-in a pleasant experience. It’s a short walk away from Kanto Freestyle and other bars in Poblacion.
