Have stayed here a few times, one of the Premier hotels in Makati with walking distance to the Glorietta Malls and all the facilities that you desire. All the staff are friendly, polite, helpful and Genuine. What you get staying here is the real deal and feeling safe is paramount especially when you’re along way from home. The security staff ensured that we didn’t get ripped off when we took cabs.. This was great help when we ventured out.. The highest accolade should be given to all the staff members that are employed at the Ascot. From Kevin in the restaurant to Tom the gorgeous security dog.. Thank you.. Hopefully one day we will return.

The housekeeping service provided by Mr. Ariel Pilande, Room Attendant was excellent. He was prompt in his duties, kept the room super clean and well-informed about the services available at the hotel. He is a skilled converationalist. His supervisor, Sir Ryan Navarro made sure that his staff served as well (quite good in overseeing his staff). Overall, the hotel met my expectations from the guards at the ground floor (extremely nice), concierge (attendants were most helpful) and reception (staff were friendly, efficient and helpful).

The staff were very courteous and friendly; made sure that our needs were accommodated. Housekeeping could be improved (upon arrival, we had to make 2 calls to get towels; there were lipstick stains on the couch pillows and found nuts under the seat). But despite that, would recommend this hotel to family and friends!

The hotel is centrally located and besides Glorietta Mall. Surrounded with restaurants, even it is on a busy location it was quiet. We were greeted by courteous concierge and shown us to main desk. I was seen by lovely Mela she’s welcoming and very accommodating with my queries. Our room were spacious and clean. It was quiet and won’t hear noises coming from either outside nor rooms nearby, Breakfast at Mesclun was enjoyable and plenty to choose. All staff were friendly and ensuring you have everything you need. Mela and Jenny help me with my dilemma. My flight will be early evening. Both of them assured me that I can have a late check out. Ascot Makati is highly recommended and will be staying again.

The service personnel I experienced were very helpful, knowledgeable and attentive. Andrea and Mildred from room reservations, from the boys in the parking area to the reception, everyone from Mesclun with special shout outs to Dior, Cesar, Jimmy and Mykee; the service operators Shie(?), Jim and another girl. Breakfast was decent. My favorites were the roasted tomatoes and bread pudding. I give the people of Ascott Makati a very satisfactory rating. However, there were also some glitches like the bad smell of the throw pillows and a leak in the bathroom jacuzzi. But those were just small issues that were well compensated by the warmth of the people. Generally, we were very satisfied with our first experience in Ascott Makati. Keep up the good work, guys! Superb service! Jimmy made sure we are comfortable and well serviced! 👌 Room experience was great. It was spacious, clean, and yes i love the pillows! Perfect for rest and recreation. Oh, and the breakfast is a must try!

This was our first visit to Manila, and we were really pleased with this hotel. Check-in was really quick and easy. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was spacious. The bed was large and comfortable. The aircon system was a bit old-school but it worked fine. We had to turn it off at times because it got too cold (better this way than being too hot!). If I was being really picky I would say the bathroom was a bit outdated and the shower pressure wasn't the best, but it was fine really. Tea and coffee making facilities and a large filtered water dispenser in the room as well. We didn't make use of the Spa, but the gym is amazing. The best hotel fitness centre I have experienced. Plenty of cardio machines and loads of weight machines and free weights, plus a studio at the back if you wanted to do a HIIT session. There is also a tennis court I think, but way too hot for us to play! The gym has an individual disinfectant spray and wipe down cloth for all users - a really good idea. The gym was spotless. The hotel location is excellent - next door to a mall, and there are loads of restaurants nearby. Really good location meant we could walk to many places to avoid the Manila traffic. The breakfast buffet was superb. Great selection of local and Western foods, fresh fruits etc. I don't think we needed lunch at any time during our stay in Manila because the breakfast was so good. The staff were excellent and took hot drink orders on arrival into the breakfast restaurant (these are included, which is not always the case in the Philippines). Currently staying for about a week. Their room service is a one star rating since it takes about at least an hour for the food to arrive. I expect better service for a 5 star hotel. Restaurant that handles their room service is: Mesclun.
