The hotel had a very cozy, welcoming atmosphere, and the staff greeted me with warm smiles upon arrival. They were attentive to my questions and handled my requests with ease.

We stayed in an Executive Suite, which was a beautifully designed one-bedroom located in the newer part of the hotel. The room had all the essentials we needed, including a living and dining area, kitchenette, work desk, cable TVs, air-conditioning, a balcony, and a private bathroom with a bathtub. It also offered convenient access to the hotel’s new swimming pool.

The food at the café was delightful, offering a great blend of local and international dishes. The staff were attentive throughout our meal. I would highly recommend this hotel to both families and solo travelers who want great value for their money and enjoy trying new experiences.

2nd time around! I was here again for an event of my company. Anyway, my room was very good, booked in the Executive Suite, which is a modern style room, very minimalist also. Very clean and very lovely. Would recommend this to future travelers or backpackers since this hotel is near the port. :)

I just returned to Pontefino Hotel for the second time! The food here looks and tastes amazing, like seriously shiok. Whether you're into local dishes or something more international, they've got it all.

There’s a bit of construction happening, but it’s no big deal, lah. The second pool totally makes up for it and gives the place a nice, chill vibe. Perfect spot to relax.

Overall, I had a fantastic stay. Highly recommend it if you're in the area!

The hotel is beautiful , however being booked and paid for an executive suites I expect a better room that speaks for itself. The room is not properly maintained, it wasn’t clean, the cabinets is dirty/dusty, the bathroom is not clean, there still residue from a leak, there were only two towels in the rack. No glasses, no adequate facilities that is normally provided in an executive room category. We checked out at 4:30am didn’t get any assistance to get our luggage’s collected and carried from the room to the parking lot or lobby. We had to carry our luggage’s all through 3 sets of at least 6 - 7 steps staircases….

The breakfast offered is ok, if you like rice . We had to pay extra for the coffee, juices and omelets. This kind of breakfast food should of been included on the room category we paid for

Also, the reception is always empty, although there was a woman near the reception who could see people approaching the reception desk but she never bothered to stand up and assist us of our requirement . We’ve waited at least 15 minutes to get assisted by the security guy

Overall experience in this hotel is 1 star

Location- outskirts of Batangas city, near to SM mall, only a short trip into town.

Facilities- this review is aimed at the relatively new 'suites' apartment complex located behind the original hotel. They are only about 3 years old but already showing a lot of wear. Our room came complete with broken fittings, flooding shower, blocked drains, constant mosquitos in the room, faulty furniture, the list goes on. I am ok with these things having travelled a little in the Philippines but not when being charged an absolute premium price. The only real highlight is the pool which is decent.

Service- Staff encountered during the stay were helpful, in particular, housekeeping and resto staff. Check in and out was done with ease.

Not sure how the original hotel is holding up either. If external appearance is anything to go by it really needs some renovations. We most likely wouldn't stay here again. There are bound to be better options in Batangas city.

Our family enjoyed our stay at PonteFino Hotel executive suites, swimming pool and the delicious food. Just before the school year started, our family went for a quick vacation here and discovered how beautiful and extensive this place is and how hospitable are their staff. You must try this place for your next staycation. We'll visit again soon for sure!

The worst hotel experience I've ever had.

I don't mind the rooms being old but they were not well maintained at all. When we got off the lift and we saw how stained the hallway carpet was, we got a bit worried. Then we got to our two rooms and saw mould in the bathrooms and on the shower curtains. My bedsheets were washed but they had blood stains on them.

When we checked in, we were told that the pool is closed for renovation but we can use the executive one. No one had emailed us before the trip to advise about the pool closure, or the fact that there would be drilling starting at 7:30/8am each morning, including Saturday. On top of that there was a few days-long conference so in between the drilling we would wake up to someone talking on a microphone. This was a business trip and we were working until late at night so waking up before 8am to a drilling noise was incredibly frustrating. We wouldn't have stayed there if someone had advised us beforehand.

The staff was pleasant and they changed the bedsheets and my shower curtain, but they refused to move us to another room. Never again.

The worst hotel. We paid 7200 pesos per night for this lousy executive room. Room is dirty. Towels are dirty with stain. What a disgusting place. Hotel only looks good outside but inside the room is dirty. No phone inside the room.
They never clean the bathroom or the floor
We will never again stay at this hotel. Not recommended

It's my understanding that breakfast is included with all rooms. Breakfast was included with our room when we stayed. Why not email or call the hotel directly?
