Other than being near SM and the church, this hotel has no charm.

Rooms: Spacious, moldy unclean carpet, with a distinct "kulob" smell

Pool: adequate, not too clean

Food: Breakfast buffet was so so

Service: Above average

Charging first class rates for being close to the SM Shopping Mall, not for quality of public areas or rooms........very very tired....10 years since any money went into upgrade or improvements. Lamp shade had three big holes, carpet thread bare, bath tiny and 3rd class plumbing, TV must have been purchased at a garage sale, so called "breakfast" included is in a converted single hotel room dark and uninviting, furniture 3rd class, and food barely eatable and cold, pool area closed. Prices should be 60% of their rack rate , at best.
Best to pay very little more and stay at the Pontefino Hotel nearby

If the front desk and security makes the first impression, then you'd be better off in another hotel (there's Hotel Pontefino near this hotel, I superbly recommend it, if price is not a consideration). The furnishings are a bit old, the outdoor carpets and the services of their waiters and room attendants really need improvements (it's obvious they hire undergraduate on-the-job trainees).

Staying here is somewhat a very rare experience. It is nearby the SM Batangas. With regards to their services, it is normal that sometimes due to scarcity of employee( only one employee is on the front desk ) , their services is not what you think to be that fast. One thing more there must be bucket and cup always available at the shower room/ comfort room to be used. There must be a water dispenser on every floors. Matbe thats all.

With its strategic location, accessibility, parking space, and professional management, Wyndham Days Hotel - Batangas ably and comfortably provides for the needs of the occasional traveler or seminar participant. Although it would benefit immensely from some refurbishment and upgrading, the amenities provided are more than commensurate to the cost of stay. Looking forward to staying here on my next work trip.

The carpet stinks. Linen is moldy, old and dirty white and seems not replaced (hairs found). Spider web inside the bathroom. No hot water for shower. No complimentary water, no slippers, no toothbrush and paste. The key sometimes works often not. The band playing outside is SO NOISY you cannot sleep. The air-con is noisy as well.

Terrible stay
Room dirty, and smelt of smoke, futon bed broken, air con very very noisy
Staff unfriendly in the extreme, except for the maintenance man- he was great!
Breakfast lame, gym was a joke- squalid and unsafe
All in all one of the worst hotels I have had the misfortune to stay in and hugely overpriced
Many much better places to stay nearby
Our advice avoid Days Hotel Batangas at all costs

We stayed for 1 night in this hotel thinking that we would be able to get a good rest and sleep. The room was not very clean, bed seems not clean well. I asked for a towel because what we had was really old and torn already and the staff gave me even worst. Next morning my son was scratchy on his arms and saw that his left arm was bitten by a bug! Way too pricey having that bad experience....

We stayed over in Days Hotel on a stop over from Manila to PG (can't go over on boat at night). We arrived late and were greeted by the friendly staff and ordered a beer (as you do).

Pros:
Friendly Staff
Comfortable bed
Great breakfast omelette

Cons:
Bathroom badly needs renovating, tap 'hanging' out of wall, so had to be careful not to to tug it too hard. Shower curtain fell down as soon as we touched it. Colony of mould living in shower. Towels, although clean, were grubby looking (ex white towels).
Noisy, party going on next door

I don't know about you, but the impression of 'Days Hotel' to me is that of 'Class' partnered with affordability. Sadly, I was disappointed.
First off, I made the reservation online, although we prepaid it already, it seems the person in the front desk is unaware of the arrangement. Ofcourse, from our part, it made us nervous and made us think we might have been duped! But after a few phone calls, the bill was settled and we were directed to our rooms.
First thing you notice, the smell- wet old carpet!!! not a welcoming at all.
The furniture seem substandard for our taste and is in dire need of a change.
The only upside is it's beside a mall where you can buy all the things you need. Otherwise, the room, the food, not too good at all.
If you have another place to stay, seriously consider that. If you have no choice, well, just bring an air freshener with you.
