Paid for 2 nights. Breakfast was paid for but not available as the chef never turned up. Staff rude. Was not allowed a refund and I could not cancel my further nights stay. Manager was not interested. Located in a poor and dangerous area between karaoke bars and prostitution. Rooms dirty and smelly. Over looking a cow field.
Spent one night in SM Travellodge during a business trip. + friendly staff + clean room, bathroom and public areas + AC and hot water was working properly + several bars and restaurants around as well as a mall relatively closeby + WiFi available, was alright for messaging, cant tell if it would be enough to stream a movie - Room was very simple, plastic chairs - literally no socket available to charge a phone or run a laptop (in my room I found one to charge my phone, had to place it on the wardrobe. And careful, sockets arent suitable for multiple cable types) - bathroom was very basic and could use renovation (i.e. no glass to place a toothbrush in) I have seen another room which had a renovated bathroom and looked very good (room 213 I believe), so it seems theyre slowly getting the rooms reworked. All in all, if you just need a bed for the night, its okay if you dont expect any luxury. Wouldnt book the place for a vacation though.…
my girlfriend and i left early in the morning to go from Semirara towards Talisay. since we had a lot of traffic and detours we decided to stay a night in Batangas the tripadvisor app gave us the option "Talisay Green lake resort with a map-pointer in the middle of the city after a heated discussion with 7 jeepney-drivers and looking google maps we found out the hotel was residented in Tagaytay... So we looked for another option and found the travelodge. there were still 2 rooms available the cheapest and the vip room the most expensive one from 1250 pesos. we took the vip room which comes with a nice spacious balcony. the room looked clean and had all we needed...airco a medium sized tv, roomservice, some toiletteries, water. we were on the top floor and had a nice view. the service was good and quick as was roomservice with no extra charge. the canteen on the ground floor offers a small range of food which is just okay the ladies work hard...in the city there are several places were you can eat which is easy to get to for 50 peso a tricycle will bring you. the room decoration could use an upgrade. good price/quality value warm water but very little force. room prices from 850 to 1250 peso per night roomservice wifi not very strong…
We choose this hotel as we could not get over to Puerto Galera on the Saturday evening. It was OK for one night, but no more. Room are very dark and in some parts of the room you could not see anything. The hotel has a restaurant, but they had to open it up for us!! We were the only customers there for both Lunch and Breakfast. Food was 'so so'., Something was in common ... prices were too high for what they served! Overall not a very good experience. 'Airco' difficult to adjust and very noisy!
This place offers a fairly decent price if you are just spending the night. The room is clean, but needs a little improvement on the fixtures and furnitures. They also offer good food 24/7, so you won't worry about starving in the middle of the night after that long ride.
