I only visit cafe by the ruins every time i visit baguio, because it has a lot to offer. We were here years ago when it was PNKY and ive recommended it regularly. Its now casa bianca and the first disappointment was that the lobby is now a fragment of the original..... Which means, among other things, that all the beautiful antiques and stuff are gone! Tsk The spa closes at 8pm! And the restaurant had almost half its menu out of stock! And this includes signature dishes like the strawberry salad! Tsk tsk

The room and surroundings brings back memories of visiting your grandparents and relatives in the province. They clean the rooms everyday. No hot water in the lavatory. Plated breakfast with a cup of coffee. It would be better if they can serve unlimited coffee during breakfast. Yummy ube and herb chicken.

We went here one rainy afternoon and it was splendid. The rain added to that very Baguio mood while surrounded by Pine trees as we watch vehicles and passing people through the big window. Their food is wonderful. They offer pasta and sandwiches and various drinks as well. The ambience, the food and the service makes for an awesome Baguio experience. A must!

With the wealth of choices in Baguio now settling on a coffee place requires some work. Happened on La Casa Bianca (used to be Pynky's) recently for a last minute coffee and cake date. This was just before closing but the staff was very accommodating.

Located well above the busy St Leonard's Way. Repeat visit and different room. Good TV. No victuals in room but dispenser just outside. Great view. CR hospitality a bit lacking. First class restaurant for the free breakfast, Inc red rice. Spa downstairs but the massage is tedious.

I went there with my family last February. After a long drive from Pampanga to Baguio, our first stop is La Casa Bianca restaurant. We had our breakfast there. The place has a homey feel. It is quiet, peaceful and nature-oriented. I like how there are like mini cottages where you can have a meal. It is very picturesque. But we ate at the restaurant instead because we couldn't fit in the separate cottages. We ordered breakfast sets which I can say were pretty delicious but I think it was not really their specialty. Overall the food taste, presentation and portioning are okay. Coffee was nice too. But I think the prices are a little expensive. But the ambience could make up for it.

We've been here twice, each one better than the last. Ambiance, set-up, location, food quality, price point - couldn't really complain. We always order the Strawberry Salad because it's always made fresh! They have the greatest pasta in the city. I also ordered tea, which is set-up in a cute teapot. Would always come back here. <3
