⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Short backstory muna. 🤣 Our original wedding date was set for December 12, 2020, unfortunately, due to the impact of COVID-19, we had to cancel the wedding and cease all preparations. In January 2020, my former workplace offered me the chance to attend a PMAP conference to be held at Venus Parkview Hotel. Despite the facade being typical, the moment I stepped inside, I was captivated by the interior's charm and the tranquil atmosphere.✨ As someone who has always been drawn to subdued lighting, chandeliers, and a rustic ambiance, I found myself immediately enamored. 🥹 As I was making my way to Fil's Hall, I passed through the Olive Grand Ballroom where another event was taking place. The vibrant lighting, the dazzling chandeliers, and the lively atmosphere all left a profound impression on me. I couldn't help but think what an exceptional wedding venue it would be for us. 😇 After the PMAP conference concluded, the staff began distributing flyers and welcoming inquiries from the guests. (Intrigued and hopeful 🤣) I decided to inquire and picked up a flyer. It might have been wishful thinking, but from that day onward, I envisioned Venus as the perfect venue for our wedding. 🤞 Skipping ahead to 2022, as COVID restrictions eased slightly, we made the firm decision to proceed with our wedding plans. In the process of contemplating the wedding venue, my primary factor in choosing “the one” was HOW ITS HOTEL STAFF WOULD HANDLE OUR INQUIRIES AND INTERACTIONS, (considering that we’ll be working with them leading up to the wedding day). Although we explored several hotels in Baguio, there was an UNDENIABLE SENSE OF SUITABILITY that we felt exclusively at Venus Parkview Hotel. EVERYONE WE INTERACTED WITH, FROM THE FRIENDLY GUARDS, RECEPTIONISTS, VALET ATTENDANTS TO THE RESTAURANT CREW, ETC., WAS NOT ONLY PLEASANT TO SPEAK WITH BUT ALSO GENUINELY ENTHUSIASTIC ABOUT PROVIDING US WITH ASSISTANCE (walang halong eme). The reason why many people consistently host events and revisit the place. 🙋 Yes, Venus isn't as modern or fancy as the newly built hotels but the staff were really nice, kind, not intimidating, and down to earth (definitely, the kind of people we want to work with). I'd also like to give a special mention to Sir Alvin John Tavares for his exceptional (ye-hess! 🤣) involvement in our event. He not only served as our hotel coord but also became a valued friend and confidant.🫶 He was always so attentive and always so responsive to the many questions and concerns we had (24/7!). Having you as our hotel coordinator was a pleasure, and if given the opportunity, we would gladly have you as ours again. Naks!🫰 Addendum 🤣: We also extend our gratitude to Venus, especially Ms. Reggie de Guia (sobrang friendly in person!) for the complimentary 2-night vouchers. While gaining exposure from various conventions and being showcased on your billboard was already gratifying for us, the gesture of appreciation through the vouchers was truly heartwarming. Salamat po!

excellent location right on top of burnham park, altough we opt for aircon rooms the temp of the entire place is cold. Hotel staff were very accomodating and courteous and check in was swift @ 11pm even though their advise was 2pm. Breakfast was very good with more than 5 menu and salad n fruits were provided adequately with regular refills.

Worst hotel that I’ve ever been , came all way from a long trip and first thing i want to do is to have a warm bath however it did happen, why? There’s little to none dripping in the faucet/ shower room and when i called the front desk stating that there’s no water they answered me ok sir noted. After few minutes i called the house keeping and they said ok sir and still nothing happened. The following day when im about to take a shower again same scenario no water at the faucet. For 3 days that stayed almost the same little to none as if the water coming out from the faucet is just like the pressure of your pee. Hope they will improve.

They couldn't solve their parking problems. There are no parking space in front of the hotel, I needed to wait for 30 to 45 minutes to park my car. They wanted me to park at the back of their hotel which is a "tambakan". Every morning we needed to wait for other cars to go so that we could start our trip in Baguio. Will choose a different hotel next time I visit Baguio.

I have been trying to contact all the numbers provided in your FB. No one ever answered the phones. I sent a direct message to your messenger and all I got is one-liner reply. Whenever I ask something, it will be answered vaguely the following day..THE FOLLOWING DAY! I dont think answering phones or messages would take so much of your time.

I had a pleasant stay in this hotel during my solo staycation in Baguio City. Check-in process was smooth but checkout made me wait but only for a couple of minutes to pave way for room check. One of the best attributes of this hotel is their food, superb from breakfast to dinner. The internet speed here is fast and reliable, good for WFH setup. They also have a smart TV with Netflix and Youtube! Amazing! Housekeeping I guess needs a lot of improvement, in my 4D3N stay, they didn’t make up my room even on turn down which normally hotel does and requesting for towels and bottled water will took you a lot of time before being provided, although there is a water dispenser nearby my room. Also, the cons in this hotel is the room itself, I guess rooms in the front building needs a major renovation as it shows how old the building was. But overall, the service is amazing! Kudos to the Front Desk team and soecial mention to Ricky for the kind assistance.

What an amazing service and food at Spiral! It wasn't changed after pandemic. Kudos to the BEST BARTENDER in Sofitel, Jocel! She assisted us on choosing what's best Gin Tonic and taught us about the food and G&T pairings as well. Overall we enjoyed our dinner at spiral with my hubby. Will definitely comeback.

Currently visiting Baguio and staying at the hotel as part of a tour with family. This review is specifically to recognize the Staff nurse who helped me and my son when he had to go to the hospital due to a stomach bacterial infection. Nurse May Ann evaluated my son at the hotel and she recommended we bring him directly to the St. Louis Hospital since he was in a lot of pain. The rest of family already left on a tour so she accompanied myself and my son to the ER. She stayed with us and helped me submit lab samples, purchase prescription medications and everything else. She was especially helpful during the triage checkin process to make sure he is taken cared of immediately. I am very thankful to her and the Venus Parkway hotel for keeping staff with Nurse May Ann’s dedication and sincerity.

I ddnt stay at the hotel but i did try their breakfast Buffet. Twas above average for hotels in Baguio. Loved their waffles, and i appreciate that they have an egg station cause not all hotels with breakfast buffet have one. I was a bit disappointed with the lack of variety in the buffet table only cornbeef longganiza and fried bangus. I would still recommend it for the price, salads and waffles.

This hotel is one of several hotels right next to the historic Burnham Park, and is very near to another hotel I reviewed on this very site, Inn Rocio. I recently stayed here for work. How do I feel about it? The room was reasonably comfortable, if a little small, and I didn't really like the fact that the closet for clothes was right next to the bed because it created some issues opening the closet door. Before the COVID-19 pandemic I wasn't very particular about things like this but nowadays it is important to me to be able to set aside clothes that have been exposed to the environment outside, so the fact that the closet is right next to the bed and difficult to open is a bit of a minus for me. The food is all right but not spectacular. There was a reasonable variety to the dishes served over the three days of my stay. Of course, I appreciated the free-flowing Benguet coffee at the conference room, as well as the very spacious venue, where social distancing was easy to implement. The best part, though, was how remarkably close the hotel was to every major location in Baguio City. Burnham City, Session Road and SM were all within walking distance, while all of the other major locations that I could think of, like Wright Park, the Botanical Gardens, the Baguio Mansion, Mines View Park, the Good Shepherd Convent, and Camp John Hay were all within driving distance, even for a person with a sense of direction as terrible as mine. As a staging point for a comprehensive tour of Baguio City, it's hard to do better than this. Just don't expect much by way of food though the desserts are pleasant and very affordable.
