⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Short backstory muna. 🤣 Our original wedding date was set for December 12, 2020, unfortunately, due to the impact of COVID-19, we had to cancel the wedding and cease all preparations. In January 2020, my former workplace offered me the chance to attend a PMAP conference to be held at Venus Parkview Hotel. Despite the facade being typical, the moment I stepped inside, I was captivated by the interior's charm and the tranquil atmosphere.✨ As someone who has always been drawn to subdued lighting, chandeliers, and a rustic ambiance, I found myself immediately enamored. 🥹 As I was making my way to Fil's Hall, I passed through the Olive Grand Ballroom where another event was taking place. The vibrant lighting, the dazzling chandeliers, and the lively atmosphere all left a profound impression on me. I couldn't help but think what an exceptional wedding venue it would be for us. 😇 After the PMAP conference concluded, the staff began distributing flyers and welcoming inquiries from the guests. (Intrigued and hopeful 🤣) I decided to inquire and picked up a flyer. It might have been wishful thinking, but from that day onward, I envisioned Venus as the perfect venue for our wedding. 🤞 Skipping ahead to 2022, as COVID restrictions eased slightly, we made the firm decision to proceed with our wedding plans. In the process of contemplating the wedding venue, my primary factor in choosing “the one” was HOW ITS HOTEL STAFF WOULD HANDLE OUR INQUIRIES AND INTERACTIONS, (considering that we’ll be working with them leading up to the wedding day). Although we explored several hotels in Baguio, there was an UNDENIABLE SENSE OF SUITABILITY that we felt exclusively at Venus Parkview Hotel. EVERYONE WE INTERACTED WITH, FROM THE FRIENDLY GUARDS, RECEPTIONISTS, VALET ATTENDANTS TO THE RESTAURANT CREW, ETC., WAS NOT ONLY PLEASANT TO SPEAK WITH BUT ALSO GENUINELY ENTHUSIASTIC ABOUT PROVIDING US WITH ASSISTANCE (walang halong eme). The reason why many people consistently host events and revisit the place. 🙋 Yes, Venus isn't as modern or fancy as the newly built hotels but the staff were really nice, kind, not intimidating, and down to earth (definitely, the kind of people we want to work with). I'd also like to give a special mention to Sir Alvin John Tavares for his exceptional (ye-hess! 🤣) involvement in our event. He not only served as our hotel coord but also became a valued friend and confidant.🫶 He was always so attentive and always so responsive to the many questions and concerns we had (24/7!). Having you as our hotel coordinator was a pleasure, and if given the opportunity, we would gladly have you as ours again. Naks!🫰 Addendum 🤣: We also extend our gratitude to Venus, especially Ms. Reggie de Guia (sobrang friendly in person!) for the complimentary 2-night vouchers. While gaining exposure from various conventions and being showcased on your billboard was already gratifying for us, the gesture of appreciation through the vouchers was truly heartwarming. Salamat po!…
