Well from the get-go, just looking at the facade will give you a not so inviting feeling. The place is old and not well lit. The rooms are quite dusty (no-AC unit). The service phone ain't working. The linens are yellowish. They provide (old school) thermos for hot liquids. It gives you a low-cost motel feel. The only reason I gave 3-star is because of the friendly staff. The hotel needs renovation to attract guests. Just mere maintenance won't work. But if you're looking for a place just to get through the night, well this place will do.
Cons: Walking distance near Bell Church and Valley of colors (Stobosa) Shower with heater Friendly staff Hotel Supreme is across the Hotel Supreme Convention Plaza Cons: Mahirap sumakqy since commute kami Need mo pa maglakad ng malayo from Burnham para lang sumakay ng jeep; no probs nman if magtaxi; hirap kase magtaxi nung ngpunta kami, lahat may sakay Hindi ganung kabago at kalinis (for me kase hindi ako fan ng red carpet😅)
Hotel is very old and wall are not sound proof. If you unlucky enough to stay in a room beside noisy neighbors then you will loose a good night sleep. Hotel location makes you feel you not in Baguio. It feel more like you are somewhere in downtown manila in a very noisy road. If you stayed late don't expect any parking space available. Parking is terrible. After that parking experience, we always take a taxi then since you cannot park your car anymore when you go out. Finding food is nearby is worse there is a hotel cafe but food in not very good. I wish we had stayed in camp John hay but my GF wanted a room with a tub. except for that everything is worse. Because of this the entire Baguio experience is so bad I don't want to come back anymore.
I stayed at Hotel Supreme Convention Center, and knew immediately it was going to be a nightmare upon arrival. There are so many people at the hotel for weddings. This causes so much noise from wedding parties. Also there are dogs living behind the hotel in the slum houses, that are constantly barking all day and all night. Finally, there are roosters that start crowing at 3AM! YOU CANNOT REST OR RELAX HERE, no matter the time of the day. ALSO, because of all the wedding guests, the breakfast buffet is flooded with huge groups of people. There is no where to sit, and the staff cannot even keep up with refilling the plates, food, or juice. IT WAS BEYOND DISAPPOINTING. The staff offered to move me up a few floors, but directly above my previous rooms. IT DOES NOT HELP, the music and dogs are too loud to sleep, relax, or even watch TV. TOTAL WASTE OF MONEY IN BAGUIO!!! PLEASE BE CAREFUL WHEN BOOKING HERE IF YOU WANT TO REST AND RELAX!!…
I booked for king bed because we have an infant and i even told them thru email but they still gave us 2 single bed! Rooms is huge but very old and dirty. The frontdesk staff was chewing when we arrived.. We didnt feel welcome.
I specifically requested for a 1 bed configuration but they didn't advise me on hand that it is not available. There's a busted light; bathroom door knob is defective;and there are hair strands beneath the sheets!! During breakfast, staff weren't organized. They acted like it's their first time to handle a lot of guests. Some of them don't even greet guests. I also do hope interiors will be upgraded and improved. It feels scary with old fixtures and furniture.
Not adivisable if you have senior citizen with you bec. We had to walk trough the stairs all the way to 3rd floor and the staff said they dnt have elevator bec. It is only in 3rd floor but i was with my grandpa and grandma. Room also is not good and they gave a room with a broken bathroom wch is leaking. We ordered room service for dinner bec. We were so tired we had a shrimp with mushroom but when it came it was mushroom with shrimp around 5 pcs and overcooked! And for breakfast? We waited maybe 5-10 minutes before somebody came to ask for our order staff is not being attentive to guests but insted juast talking to each other nobody even smiles or greet. So to sum it up hotel is not comfortable and service is not good.
The place is near to the parks and tourist spots that made it convenient for their guests to room around the city. Some popular attractions nearby: Strawberry farm, Color house, Chinese Temple, Burnham Park and many more.
My sons and I had a staycation ay Hotel Supreme Convention Plaza for 2d1n. We stayed at one of the hotel's family de luxe rooms. It was a nice stay. Plus points for the bath tub where we had endless soaks! Gloria Jeans and Future Diner are plus points too! Will be back!!!
If you're after the basic amenities for lodging and accommodations, this facility is perfect especially for family trips where the budget is quite limited. It's already value for money given the cost and the space the rooms provide. The food is not so bad either and is far better than other newer, fancier hotels in Baguio. It is also ideal for quick business trips or office seminars/conferences since it is far from the center of distractions, traffic and hustle and bustle of the city.
