We celebrated the 1st few daysof 2021 in Baguio. We found this gem because It has a Great location. The rooms are clean and we booked a at a great price!! We had fun and enjoyed our stay. Downside was Due to the pandemic, perhaps we were made to wait a few hours before our rooms were ready. But they gave us a complimentary late check-out to compensate. But overall it was great!

Great place to unwind every year... Relaxing moment far away from the stressful effect of pandemic. Each year we see to it that we pause from every days routine to recharge our emotional and physical aspects by just being with the nature. The relaxing scenery of green pine trees and the scent of its barks, somehow put our mind and soul at ease. The morning walks around the John hay camp is what I look forward too each year to recharge me from the everyday scenario of the city streets. Whenever I am in Baguio,I'm always reminded of how awe inspiring are the creation of our loving Creator. The big impact of the nature on someones life that magically refreshes our thoughts and feelings and washes away the stressful life we had for the year. No wonder we always try our best to come back each and every year despite of the situation we have. The way of thanking our Creator for the blessed life he gives...

The new normal, of course, still bring anxiety to travelers and tourists who are hoping to enjoy themselves at the same time help with the economy of the country. Our stay at the Forest Lodge in Camp John Hay in Baguio City allayed all these fears and anxieties without sacrificing the warmth of our northern brothers and sisters set amidst the cold and crisp January air of the City of Pines. The very responsive front desk officers were very helpful in providing information on our stay in general. They seamlessly facilitated the extension of my parents' room for one night. All vehicles undergo disinfection each time they enter the property. Safety and protocol officers were on hand to ensure that health regulations were adhered to. Though room cleaning is not allowed, understandably so, a beautiful wicker basket containing generous refills of supplies for the suite were always provided. I wish to specifically commend Mark the bartender/waiter at the lobby restaurant for his excellent attention to detail and for going the extra mile (with a warm smile underneath his mask I am sure!) in fulfilling our requests. What's even more delightful is that the property is giving generous discounts for its suites and rooms. Just one thing though, the one bedroom suite we got was a loft so there was a spiral staircase that connects the living area/kitchen/second bedroom) to the master bedroom. If you have mobility issues this will definitely be an issue. Other than that, 6 stars for this Forest Lodge ! See you again! 🫂❤🇵🇭

I loooooved our stay with The Forest Lodge! It was our home for 10 days and the experience was nothing short of relaxing and cool. Their staff are very accommodating and the ambiance from outside to the lobby, to their rooms, is very homey. What I also particularly liked is that the place is clean as I'm a bit of a clean freak - well, I'm speaking at least for the room we checked in to. I had no experience of bugs, roaches or whatever. I was also able to try breakfast food in their in-house restaurant and their beef tapa is veryyyy good! I'm planning another Baguio trip next year and would surely be back here. 😊
