The Microtel by Wyndham Baguio earns accolades for its excellent location, which guests find perfect for exploring the city and accessing local attractions. The hotel's amenities and the service provided by the warm and prompt staff contribute greatly to guest satisfaction. Stayed here last Feb28-March2, 2025. Initially drawn to this hotel as it is adjacent to Victory Liner and would be accessible to senior citizens. Even from our repeated phone inquiries, Janna and Daisy were really patient and accommodating to our inquiries prior to finally booking our reservations.
When we arrived, it was early in the morning and Gerlee was really friendly and accommodating, despite the busyness at that time because there were a handful of guests who arrived as well.

Everyone during our stay were commendable, even their interns who were wearing white uniforms. They were always ready to greet and offered genuine smile to the guests. Their extra ordinary service was at par with rated 5star hotels. Shout out to Janna, Daisy and Gerlee, those whom we met and Kenneth who assisted us with our luggages during check out.

Microtel really has a perfect location because it has connecting bridge to Victory Liner. There are also fastfood and convenience store adjacent to it. The staff assigned at the main entrance was also commendable as he was always greeting and assisting guests when alighting/getting on to the grab taxi. Sm baguio was also walking distance from this hotel (but not recommended to walk if you’re with senior citizens 😬), but there are a lot of taxis in this area.

We definitely recommend this hotel for family and friends. This will be our new favorite hotel when coming back to Baguio for vacation.

PS. There is unlimited coffee on the lobby + ice machine. There is also a water dispenser on every floor that you can get free water. My senior uncle says the coffee was great! Wifi in the room is also decent.

From first day til our last day the staffs are warm and accommodating ❤️ they are very helpful, from their security upto their hotel and restaurant staffs. Thank you for the wonderful experience team Baguio especially to Daryll, Sean, Aubrey, and Val for making our vacation memorable.

We got awesome breakfast in the in house restaurant and coffee are available in the lobby anytime. They also have free drinkable water and ice as well. The rooms are comfy and airconditioned, hot showers are available in the bathroom as well.

Baguio is one of my happy places, which means I've been to the City of Pines a lot of times already... for many good reasons. Lots of great memories with family and friends.

We stayed at Microtel by Wyndham Baguio overnight, and yet we were able to do so many things during our trip because its location is just perfect. The main attractions and parks are only a few minutes away by taxi, and that's even with traffic! On top of that, the Victory Liner station is next door so if you're just taking the bus, you won't have any problem catching a ride home. If you have a vehicle though, they have ample parking space to accommodate you.

The hotel is clean, smells fantastic, free coffee is available, and an Ice machine for when you're not feeling cold enough :D. The rooms may need a little bit of décor update but not old. Very spacious, can easily fit 4 people. It's clean, has a big shower, and the sheets and pillows smell nice too! Plus, the breakfast was nice - perfect start to a day of exploration.

The team members were very kind, helpful and pleasant to deal with. They made our stay even more memorable. Kudos to everyone!

Thumbs up:

1. Location. Walking distance to Skyranch amusement park (closes by 9pm), SM Asia Mall. It’s next to the Victory Liner bus terminal but it is not noisy at night. What keeps you up and annoyed is the poor wifi (read on). Jollibee and Dunkin Donut is next door for easy supper.

2. Free water and ice. Godsend as we mix drinks and you can save the trouble of buying them if you are driving from other towns to Baguio. The weather is also cool and dry so this makes hydration easier. The ice machine is beside lobby lift. The water dispenser is found on every floor with hot, cold and lukewarm options.

3. Lobby and Concierge. Clean and ample sofas, which is comfortable and quiet. The staff is also friendly and prompt to attend to queries and we feel they are sincere even if they can’t provide an immediate solution.

Thumbs down:

1. Wifi. Very slow and non-existent when traffic is high. We tested and it seems the toilet provides much better coverage compared to the bed which might be due to the walls. Head down to lobby for stronger connection which is probably why there are folks chilling at lobby at night.

2. Breakfast. Rather limited to local fares which is too salty and sweet. Daily salad and fruits are good. Dining area is actually an Italian restaurant. If you like to people-watch, sit outdoors as you can observe the buses and people under the cool sunlight and pine trees.

The hotel's location is convenient and ideal for exploring the city, rooms were clean and comfortable as usual, providing everything needed for a restful stay. Special mention to Janna at the front desk, whose quality customer service and friendly assistance made our stay even better. She was always ready to help with any request. need to add a sound proof in all rooms, little chitchat can still hear from the other room. I guess they can provide bigger space for additional table so that they can accommodate other guest for breakfast. Not a good idea to be on the waiting list.
Value for money, too expensive for what the property can offer.

Hotel was clean especially the room and even the common restroom. Both comes equipped with bidet. We got the standard queen room with air conditioner and TV. Water pressure was not a problem in this hotel unlike our experience from another hotel stay in Baguio. Hotel is also eco friendly as they provide empty caraffe and glasses inside the room and a water dispenser (I assume) in each floor instead of water bottles. Also, liquid body wash/ shampoo dispenser is installed in the shower area. The connecting walkway between Victory Liner bus Station to Amare and Microtel is very convenient and hassle-free. The location itself is walking distance to SM and other restos. Lastly, the staff is amazing, helpful and prompt to respond even in emails.

The only thing I can recommend is to change some of the warm white lightbulb in the room as it tends to be dark. At first, I was hesitant to book this hotel because room pictures seem to have an outdated and dark vibe. However, I now understand that this is partly due to the warm lightbulb used for lighting. And since the room was cleaner than some of the four and five-star hotels we have tried for staycations in Manila, I would recommend this to my friends and family.

Some confusion in receiving information about room accomodation from day 1. Room rates are not clearly explain to guest. We are a family of 2 kids and paid extra room charge for 14 year old kid and we are ok with it. We were also told that breakfast is free for all of us but we were surprise that we need pay for the breakfast of a 9 year old kid who just ate a bowl of cereals. Disappointing.

Not the newest hotel we've ever stayed in, but this place still represented good value for money.

The room was clean and well presented. Checking in was a breeze and the fact that there was a pizza place attached to the hotel (with good pizzas) was also an added bonus. Location was pleasing with the SM Mall just a short walk away. A small shop was also next door- cold beer could be had for 51 PHP a can. We were also able to walk to the Joybus Depot from the hotel. My wife got sick whilst we were at the hotel (not their fault in any way) and the staff were attentive and responded quickly to her needs.

Thank you Wyndham Baguio for looking after us.

We were a family of 4: parents + 2 kids (12 and 14 y/o). The room with 2 queen-size beds was perfect for us. We had to pay extra for our 14 y/o who was already considered an adult though, but that's ok. The location of Microtel Baguio was very convenient: SM and Burnham could be reached on foot at a leisurely pace. Room was cleaned daily and hand sanitizing stations were in place in hotel entrances and elevators. Staff were very attentive and helpful. Breakfast had enough variety of food. Overall, very good value for money! We will definitely come back. Our only suggestion is to make the internet speed faster and more reliable, though we only used it in the evenings and early morning.
