I was looking for a hotel offering one bedroom for a family of 4-adults. Le Monet had such a room with 2-queen size beds while the other hotels offered maximum of 3-adults in a room. The hotel location was perfect since it was walking distance to the different shops and restaurants inside CJH. I did not want to leave the CJH premises since traffic was terrible in the City. I had everything I needed inside CJH grounds. The hotel room and bath were clean. Wide array of food choices available during buffet breakfast, lunch & dinner. All hotel staff were courteous and very helpful. The Nurses Station located next to the Front Desk is something new and most welcome. Special thanks to Monica and Luvinia in facilitating our quick check-in and check-out respectively. Very accommodating.

We stayed here overnight only before heading to our originally planned destination. The carpet in our room appeared clean, but after my kids walked on it, the soles of their feet turned pitch black. I promptly brought this to the attention of the front desk, urging them to ensure the room’s thorough cleanliness. Despite Baguio’s generally cold climate, it was unexpectedly humid and hot during our stay, particularly if you opt for the forest view, making the electric fan insufficient. The food at the hotel was satisfactory, but there was a persistent smell that troubled me, leading me to eat very little during the buffet dinner. The ube champorado turned out to be a waste of money as the rice or porridge was not properly cooked, rendering it inedible. On a positive note, the hotel employees were friendly and accommodating, which was a plus.

Location - Hotel was at Camp John Hay. Very accessible. 1st hotel from the Sentry gate. Even though we had our own car, we opted to take cabs to go to town. Very easy to flag cabs here. The guard and bell hops will flag down for you. Near the restos by the gate. BUT DO NOT EAT AT THE FOODCOURT BESIDE THE HOTEL. Shakeys maybe but not the other stalls. Too overpriced and meat/beef/kambing were tough! Still best to just go into town for authentic benguet/baguio food. Room - Very spacious. We got 2 rooms. Very clean. Had 2 big beds each. Got the rooms facing the street. No airconditioning but both rolms were provided portable air coolers and ceiling fans. Food (Breakfast buffet)- Small dining room at the lobby but food was ok. Very wide selection of Breakfast items. Omelet station was great. They even have a small selection of cheese and deli meats during breakfast. We didnt get to sit at the table facing the veranda. Make sure to reserve those tables so you could eat breakfast with the crisp morning air. Pool - though advertised as heated, it was not at all. My kids were supposed to swim but didn't anymore coz it was too cold. You can request pool towels at the front desk. PWD ramp - ramp was not covered by an awning and kinda slippery. But the guard and bellhop service made up for this. They will assist you.

The hotel is good but small rooms at that price Also don’t book this hotel through Agoda. There will be multiple booking and you’ll have to pay for all of them and Agoda will give you only partial money back. So super loss , just do it directly at the property or at Booking.com

the TV monitor inside the bathroom made the difference. although the hair dryer was misplaced outside, still, it came very useful. linens, towels & bathrobes smelled and laden with sweetly scented fabric conditioner. staff was very courteous and helpful. a warm smile will greet the guests in the small lobby. for an average 8K/night, it might come rather pricey. specially if cotton buds and shaving kit are not readily on display in the bathroom amenities. you need to call housekeeping to make them available, for free of course. parking is not a problem. breakfast is another story.

I have been excited to this trip because I want to try Le Monet eventhough it is quite pricey. I am very disappointed and glad I chose to stay one night only. Here are the things that I am disappointed about: - the mini ref is not working and asked to replace it. Staff is quick to replace after checking it but the replacement is also broken - toilet is nit working properly and has poor flush system - the smell in the CR is soo bad and smells like a bad sewer smell. I cannot forget this as we are trying to cover our nose whenever we need to use the CR - we ordered in room dining and the pork sinigang is very and overly sour! I thought the serving is too generous but we can only ate 1/4 of the serving because we cannot take the taste anymore - one of the staffs in the reception looked unaccommodating and didnt even bother to smile - the handle of the cabinet in the room falls the moment I tried to open the cabinet door - the lamp also is not working properly, sometimes it can be turned on and there were times it cannot be turned on - the food in the breakfast is not that impressive. I said this because I thought the food is great based on the review i read before. Its not something to rave about. And I wouldnt mind a plated breakfast for the quality of food Pros: - the view in the room - the champorado is good enough - water pressure in the bathroom is okay Overall, I cannot recommend this hotel and will not also book this again.

I have worked in the service industry (restaurant to be specific) in Singapore for more than ten years and I would say Filipino Hospitality is still the best in the world. Before moving here in Germany, I went back to my home city Baguio and decided to spend time with my family so I opted to stay at Le Monet Hotel. When we speak of genuine service and good food, this quaint hotel is on top of my mind whenever I visit home. Despite all the challenges of the pandemic, they were able to bounce back quickly and I would say they are back to real business and I was really so happy for them. From the moment you check-in, the beautiful sincere smiles of their employees make you not want to leave your city, your country that is known for genuine hospitality. I am sharing this review to give 2 ‘thumbs up’ for their exceptional service as a whole. Restaurant: I have tried their snack buffet with my sister and we both loved the kakanin, pancit and their must-try bilo-bilo which is my all-time favorite. The breakfast buffet was wide-spread. You’ll get to enjoy the continental, Asian, Filipino and many more. The salad definitely is fresh. (the perks of being in Baguio) I enjoyed the dried fish and the ‘sopas’. If you want to try freshly baked breads, you may also drop by their bakeshop. The Ube Pandesal is a must-try. Rooms: You can only find a heated toilet seat here at Le Monet, Camp John Hay, Baguio City. I tried one inJapan when I visited in 2016.  The small TV in their bathroom is an added impression. The pillows and linens give you a different kind of comfort that you couldn’t find anywhere else. KUDOS to the GM who manages her squad really well. This is a true manifestation that people are genuinely happy to serve when their leader inspires them well.

Gracious host in Baguio? Well what can I say, Le Monet indeed lived up with that. I stayed at the said Hotel for a 2 day business trip last December 9 and they made my trip LESS stressful. The valet welcomed me with a bright smile and was promptly assisted to my room. I booked a room on the third floor facing the forest, the view there was spectacular I must say. The cool breeze of air coming from the forest was really calming and refreshing. The breakfast was a feast, I love their bacon and salad. Their dinner buffet with acoustics was perfect to end my business trip and stay at the hotel. Thank you Le Monet, I will surely come back for vacation next time.

The hotel is located inside Camp John Hay. One of its advantage is its proximity to some tourist attractions like Baguio botanical garden, Bell house and Cafe Batirol. I'd like to personally commend the hotel service crew including the security guards for their warmth of service and attending to our needs. In our stay, I noticed specifically noticed how fast they try to address their guests concerns. They may not have the best amenities in Baguio but the level of customer service from their guest relations person all the way to security guard is consistent.

Stayed at this hotel before and had an excellent experience. Sadly, it has become complacent and very mediocre. Despite its superb location, it does not live up to anything like a 4 star hotel. Every indication is that it doesn’t care so long as money rolls into its captive market and lack of nearby competition. On arrival one is greeted by an overpowering stink of cheap air freshener which pervades the lobby and reception area: unbelievably this is next to the dining area! Door staff and floor attendants are charming and helpful, found us a good parking space and assisted with bags unprompted, so well done to the. The same cannot be said of reception staff who are offhand, and not welcoming. Manners maybe do not form part of HRM courses these days? We arrived 45 minutes before check-in and it was explained that the room was unavailable, but we could wait and they would try to get us in. We then saw three other groups checked in while we waited until 2-05. My enquiry was greeted with ‘wait a while’ then checked in. Really quite rude, at least where I come from. Internet speed in this hotel is lousy: realistically you need to bring your own, if you have any serious need. Similarly, TV had few channels and is dependent on a complicated log-in system. After all that it is most unreliable and patchy, even to watch local programs. The room fittings, shower etc, which used to be good, are tired and worn-looking. Opening the refrigerator, a most unpleasant smell wafted out - like it hadn’t been cleaned and aired for many months. Hoping for a swim, we discovered the pool unavailable and ‘under maintenance’. Actually, even on previous visits it was the same story. In short, a very mediocre and disappointing experience. There are a number of much better outfits in Baguio for this kind of money, and indeed for a great deal less. Management are nowhere to be seen, and it is indicative that they do not apparently bother to answer any comments here. That just about sums them up: complacent and resting on their old laurels. If this hotel is leased by Camp John Hay, then they need to allocate it to a new concession that is interested in more than easy money. Won’t be back unless and until they up their game. Very let down and annoyed at such a waste of money. Should have been much, much better as they have it all with their location, yet have no idea of what standards are about in 2022.
