Detailed Reviews
Stayed here for 3 nights. Got 3 different room types for my family.
1. Queen with Balcony
Overlooking view of the city and the balcony helps with the cold breeze to flow inside the room.
2. Family with Balcony
2 double beds and a sofa set.
3. Standard No Window
Same as the first one just no window. Surprisingly still cool inside.
If you’re looking for a newly built property and at affordable price point, then this is your hotel.
15 mins away from Burnham Park.
Staff is very friendly and helpful. Housekeeping is commendable as our room remained spotless every time we ask for the room to be cleaned. We were travelling with 2 dogs.
Pet-friendly. They charge a one-time pet fee of P500 for small size dogs and P1000 for large breeds per dog but for the entire stay.
I was worried about the no airconditioning but turned out to be ok. It can get too warm during noon time but cool in the evenings and mornings. Not really an issue if you are out for most of the day.
TV is equipped with Netflix and Youtube.
Bed is comfortable and plenty of pillows.
Cons with the hotel:
1. No fridge to keep cold drinks
2. Free breakfast is bad - better to skip it or I’d be happy not to have it and get discount on the room rate
3. Can get noisy but street is not a busy one
4. Bathroom is small and had to shower on the side not to hit glass enclosure
5. No microwave to reheat leftover food

Uphill has a nice location close to most attractions, there's free secured parking and a great open feeling in the lobby and restaurant with nice views as well from the restaurant. The staff was friendly and it was very clean and modern with free Netflix on the TV. Breakfast was excellent. I don't know what the rest of the rooms are like, but ours....... Lets just say it was more like a small inside cabin on a cruise ship. There was only one tiny window that overlooked a drainage ditch and had no screen, so we couldn't keep it open because mosquitoes were coming in. There was no aircon so the room was quite hot in the evening and any sound from the lobby seemed like it was right in the room with us. If you stay here make sure you get a room with a window, or even better a room with a view.

Customer service is supposed to solve problems, not create more of them. We’ve followed every step they outlined, yet the refund they promised has still not been processed. Despite reassurances and control over the situation, they’ve done nothing to resolve it.
We expect better accountability from a company of this scale. At this point, it feels like they’ve forgotten their customers altogether. Avoid if you value responsive and effective service.

The Room we booked has no window. But. We had a great sleep. 😊
Location: Somehow remote, and difficult to get/book a taxi.
Bed: Good sleep. 🫶🏼
Staff: Accommodating
Food: we had breakfast, with a good view of the Baguio City 😊

We are appalled by the way this company treats its customers. After promising to process our refund, they’ve failed to deliver, leaving us in the dark. Their disregard for customer satisfaction and their unwillingness to take responsibility are unacceptable.
Even the third-party app confirmed that the issue lies with them, yet they’ve chosen to ignore it. This is the worst experience we’ve ever had, and we won’t be using their services again.

We visit Baguio six times a year and travel weekly, but this was by far THE WORST HOTEL EXPERIENCE we’ve ever had.
Due to a booking date error, the hotel confirmed availability for our correct dates but insisted we resolve it through the third-party site. Despite facilitating communication between the booking site and the hotel ourselves, they refused to work directly with us, forcing us into an absurd, inefficient process.
We repeatedly offered to pay any fees or the full rate to check in, but they denied every request, leaving us in the lobby for hours. Even speaking directly to the manager was refused. Later, our refund request for the unused stay was also denied.
The staff showed no professionalism, empathy, or courtesy. It was a nightmare, and we will never return or recommend this hotel.
THEY SAID THEY ARE GOING TO PROCESS THE REFUNS BUT UP UNTIL NOW, IT'S BEEN ALMOST A MONTH, WE HAVEN'T RECEIVED ANYTHING!

Rating this place. ZERO.
No proper clean up and sanitation - there are used slippers under the bed from who knows how long ago. We understand the dust on the window sill but the dust on the BATHROOM switches are unacceptable as it means they do not clean well or do deep cleaning. The electric fan in the unit is very dusty - it’s not been cleaned in months as the dust is thick enough to plant a seedling into it.
I always wake up with puffy eyes from poor quality sleep and dust allergy.
The bathroom smelled like sewers that went from bad to worse. The shower area is so small you can barely move in it and the bidet is awkwardly placed on the left hand side.
We booked for 3 nights and suffered through them as we had already paid in full - 7,087.50! Too much for poor quality hotel stay. Not worth your money!
The windows have no sound proofing - you are guaranteed NO TO BAD SLEEP. You can hear motors and cars all through the night.
The food is very limited and cheaply made - fish fillet that is malansa. Scrambled eggs made from one egg divided into 2 orders. The only good thing is the free water in the diner which you can avail of at any time.
We had been patient enough during our stay and could almost endure the experience except on the last night, there was a group above us who were shouting loudly and thundering around their room - dumadagongdong sila and this went on until about 1:45am which was the time we informed the guard on duty to inform the room above us to quiet down as we could not sleep. I could not understand how the guard on duty didn’t reprimand the unit above earlier as when I went down to inform him of the noise - the hollering and laughing can be heard all the way down in the hotel entrance.
By early morning the taho vendor decided to shout right in front of our window waking us up. He kept hollering for half an hour until he noticed he was being recorded.
Lastly, during breakfast there was a piece of plastic in the food - they offered to replace it but we already lost our appetite and distrusted the kitchen quality.
We informed the staff of our ordeal as he stated that the manager was not available. It is not a good sign when the staff does not know how many stars hotel they are as when he was asked… his answer was “I don’t know… 4 or 5?”
Upon check out - the manager apologized for the inconveniences and gave an apology cake but the statements after only made me livid inside.
The manager stated that the owner had been informed and that they will set a general cleaning - THIS SHOULD BE MANDATORY EVERY WEEK OR TWO WEEKS if the place is always with guests, it should not arise due to guest complaints.
What was more infuriating is being offered 20% discount on our next stay - NO, WE WILL NOT COME BACK! A horrible first experience cannot be rectified with a second visit as the trauma and distrust is already there.
If the management really wanted to make amends… the 20% discount should have been applied on that visit and a 300 peso cake cannot cover the trauma imprinted on our memories.
The next phrase really made me pause to think of how poorly things were handled when the manager stated baka po marefer niyo kami sa friends or family … you really think I would make my friends or family experience what we went through?! Ridiculous!
