Our Baguio branch manager recommended this new hotel because it was very near our branch. It looks like a mansion literally from the outside but has dominantly wooden finishes in the inside even in the lobby & rooms which to me adds to the baguio appeal.

The rooms were a bit small but the beds & pillows were great, the amenities were also very good. The cost is a bit pricey but they regularly give season discounts. Try to choose rooms with balconies so you can really enjoy the Baguio weather.

The mansion itself has a bit of history dating back to the American colonial period & the Japanese occupation and was recently converted to a hotel.

Parking is free albeit open and is walking distance to Burnham park. There is also a Solibao restaurant in the hotel itself but I haven't tried it yet.

All in all, one of the better hotels I've been to in Baguio.

Great location, parking, accommodating staff, nice building, safety, good rates - these are the major reasons why we frequently stay at this hotel.

This is practically a landmark in Baguio, the building having once been used by the US Army officers during World War II. Of course, a lot of changes have been done to convert the property into a hotel but guests can still appreciate the historical memorabilia that adorn the place. I also like that you see mostly wood on the floors and walls.

The hotel also offers the standard amenities you want for a Baguio hotel such as free WiFi, hot shower, toiletries, cable TV and even air-conditioning. There's also a very nice restaurant/coffee shop just a door away. A short walk will bring you to the public market, Burnham Park, well-known restaurants and several ukay-ukay (second-hand) stores.

Keep in mind:
1. Ask for the rooms on the ground or second floor if you find it difficult to climb stairs - this hotel has no elevator.
2. Learn to work the door lock - they're using manual key-operated locks and there's a certain way of opening and locking the door.
3. In case some of the staff become noisy, just tell the front desk - sometimes they forget that there are guests in the rooms.
4. Have a camera handy for good photos inside the hotel (particularly on the stairs).

It's a long weekend and all hotels at Baguio have now been fully booked. Thanks to my dear friend who found me heritage hotel. I called them and reserved me immediately. No frills at all! Before that I tried booking at appartelles and transient houses and they require bank deposits!!! Well I'm so glad I made the right choice. Here are the top 10 heritage mansion feedback:

1. Super clean rooms. Considering the rustic country feel, the rooms are clean and the bathroom is good! Towels, soap, and toothbrush provided for.

2. You might have a hard time looking for it. The name of the hotel is not right in front of the mansion but on the side. Plus the mansion looks like a house. So it's very easy to miss.

3. The restaurant is good. They are quite slow though. Best to preorder.

4. The parking can be a problem. They onle have ones at the front.

5. It's near burnham park. It's walking distance so it's really good!

6. Water flow at the 3rd room is very low. :(

7. Rooms are not hotel standards. So can feel small if you expect hotel type.

8. Service is good. They are very nice and helpful.

9. They don't give itemized bill. So you have to ask for it.

10. Good for couples overall but may not be for families since we usually cause a lot of noise and it can easily upset the other guests. :).

Never imagined a 4-star hotel like this would be very terrible. They have over manpower yet their customer service is really poor. This hotel lacks good management! 👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻 Who would envision a hotel whose staff stay in the hotel sofa which is just outside the guests rooms. Come on, we're talking about privacy here.😡👊🏻 Customer satisfaction is the key to business success! It's just a waste of money here.😏 It's a lot better to stay in JM Dormitel that gives beyond what this poor hotel can offer!

Last minute booking and decided to check in Heritage Mansion. We booked Deluxe Suits and its a little bit disappointed in terms of room quality and facilities.

Hot water is broker.
No extra paper toilet.
Toilet flush take 3x to flush (and you have to wait for several minutes per flush)
Water drainage in the shower is blocked ( that's deluxe suits)

Since we complained about this faults, they moved us to other room and upgrade. Last but not the least, the upgrade needs to pay additional 500php/night.

Don't expect for a great breakfast. You rather ask for omelette and fried rice.

Staff is friendly it's just the management system and maintenance of the property makes my reviews falls in 3 starts.

We were supposed to go to Pangasinan to pay pilgrimage. But when my husband saw the new TPLEx, he proceeded to Baguio... Total of 4 hours from Clark to Baguio. An hour off from the usual travel, thanks to the new expressway to upper North. While travelling, I claled up our usual hotel in Baguio near Burnham, unfortunately, it was fully booked. I callled several hotels, but to no avail.. As we reached the main city, we tried to look hotel for an overnight stay... We saw the Heritage Mansion which is also withinthe vicinity of Burnham... We checked the place before we decided to give it a try. It's totally different stay. The ambiance is like pre hispanic era. Blast from the past... The main hotel is made out of good quality wood.

Front office- give them a ring a you arrive.. They are there at all times.
Lobby- impressive and clean
Bed and pillow- ok
Towel- please bring your own towel. They gave us short towels which I think for the floor :( good thing we brought our own.
Room- quite small for a family ( regular room) has communal restroom.
Food- not quite satisfied

Please check our photos for you to see... Overall, we had a pleasant stay... As long as we slept peacefully and a good time, I am satisfied.

I was first hesitant to book a room in this hotel because of some negative comments posted in this site. I also found out that the standard room reserved by UP Baguio for my stay shares the toilet and bath with another standard room. All these hesitations, however, vanished the moment I stepped onto this quaint, historical hotel. The ambiance is very reminiscent of the days of old. The facilities are not lacking. Breakfast is enough. Location is perfect. The staff are friendly and helpful.

The GOOD
1. Location - hotel is within walking distance to Burnham park (10 mins), there is a 7-11 nearby for your 24x7 needs, Jollibee, McDonalds and Gilligans at the back of the hotel, ATMs and Chowking nearby and Solibao just next to the hotel - you have entertainment, basic necessities and food well covered. There are also a lot of taxis going around that area so you don't have to worry about transportation.

2. Service - I've experienced a couple of unpleasant things in the hotel (see Improvement points below) and after reporting them to the front desk, they were actioned and remedied right away (thanks to Ina and May). This for me is a sign of good customer service. Additionally, there was a time when it is a bit late in the night and we couldn't go out for dinner, the front desk allowed us to order in Solibao Restaurant and let Solibao deliver the food and set them up in the lobby eating area. I couldn't be more pleased with their service! Lastly, the hotel does not have elevators (understandably as there are only 3 floors) and the staff volunteered to carry our *heavy* luggages up the second floor.

What can be improved:
1. Housekeeping - during our first day there I've found 1 used towel hanging in the closet. This worries me a bit as it may be a sign that housekeeping is not thorough with their cleaning. Next the towels are rather old. There are tears on the side and has ballpen marks of which I'm not sure whether it bears the initial of the hotel or someone else's name. I've requested them to be replaced which the front desk promptly did so. Third, one of the pillow cases really stinks and I have to remove it from the bed. There was a time too that our toilet paper was not replenished and I have to manually request for one - and again, was attended to right away.

2. Amenities - I've got a family suite and main door to our suite does not have a peep hole so it is hard to check who is knocking at our door. This I believe should have been a standard amenity. Second, the floor in our room creaks when we walk on it but then this is not a big issue. Third, the water coming out of the shower is not strong which is an issue as you would want to quickly take a bath, dry up and come out of the shower due to the cold weather. Lastly, as was mentioned above there are no escalators so I can imagine a family with a lot of things is going to find this challenging.

3. Breakfast - the breakfast options are limited. The boneless bangus by the way is not really boneless so it is not advisable for kids. There was also a time that our coffee is very diluted. I've requested for a replacement and the staff kindly obliged.

4. There were a number of times that there are no people on the front desk - it was later on upon chance I saw the Front Desk helping out making up the room - then I've realized why :) Having known this, I came to understand why Front Desk is at times not around.

5. During our first night at the hotel, I can hear the loud music coming out of the nearby restaurant in our room. I have to turn up the TV just to drown the music and eventually find sleep.

Given that this is a 3-star hotel, I guess one cannot expect very much from housekeeping. What makes up for our experience is the service. To this I can very well say that I have no qualms of returning back to this hotel.

Neighborhood feel of old time Baguio. The price is okay and the buffet is good. Rooms are small but neat. Fond of walking? This place is right in the middle of everything. Oh yes, December and summer traffic is really slow. So forget about driving in the city. If you're tired of the usual hotel atmosphere, check this place out.

The hotel location is perfect for those who wants to roam and walk around the city, it's a walking distance from Burnham Park, and few restaurants around the hotel. Room is good, clean, bed is comfortable, hot shower is good, and they served a set breakfast for free, it's average. It was raining and weekend when we went there so most of the rooms are full that we only have this hotel, it was almost perfect except for the noise, the edge of the street going up, there were some bars and live band singing until 12 am, and you can hear them singing inside the room.. We stayed on the second floor, left side, I forgot the room number but don't choose that room because the sound is loud from the live band. I don't know if it can be heard from the other room.
