Very comfortable and authentic Hotel with some history. If you have kids and like noise, this is absolutely not the hotel for you since it has many steep staircases and its original construction was made lightly to endure earthquakes........I only mention this because some folks make quite unreasonable and unjustified complaint.......[also not suitable for folks with mobility issues]........without cognizance of the authenticity of this relatively historic structure. The food and service was excellent value for money in Baguio with wonderful dining staff all brilliantly trained and polite and an an excellent bar tender/wine waiter................quite the best

We are so glad you enjoyed your stay with us and appreciate your constructive comments. Yes, we have tried our best to maintain the classic heritage look of the hotel, without sacrificing our guests' comfort and at the same time modernizing some amenities. Hill Station is a lessee and under different management, but we will relay your appreciation. Please let us know how else we can improve on your next visit. Thank you for choosing Casa Vallejo and hope to see you again soon!

We stayed for 3 days and 2 nights in Baguio and decided to check-in at Casa Vallejo since we are planning to have our wedding in Baguio and reception in Hill Station. The hotel is just a walking distance from SM Baguio, Session Road and Cathedral. Most of the staff are welcoming and accomidating, but some receptionist and guards are not. The facade of the hotel is so elegant and class. The room is clean but with a little musty odor, which one would expect since Casa Vallejo is known as an old hotel, built 1909. Services are excellent. Breakfast is superb. This is still our first choice for our wedding soon 😍

We were already on our way to the City of Pines when we were looking for a place to stay (talk about cramming, right?), then this place came up. Saying it has Mt. Cloud Bookshop beside it, which we always wanted to go to, we booked it right away. When we arrived, tha cab driver already knew the place and dropped us there, and thankfully we were already allowed for an early check-in at around 11AM. The room was actually nice. And even if it was just a fan room, it was really chilly that we had to turn it off at times. The place was perfect since it is near the Cathedral, SM and other establishments, a lot where you can just walk along Session Road, and eat and have a cup of coffee. And to add, Hill Station, the restaurant inside this Botique Hotel is actually great. Pricey, yes,

We stayed for 2 nights. The hotel is nice. The hotel is quaint! But the issue is on the basement rooms, it’s scary!!!! The materials are like gonna give up because it’s old and inside the room it smells like musty and moldy. Though the rooms are good. We had the room with the fan. No need for aircon because we are in Baguio!!! But our main concern was the shower. The next morning, the shower was ice cold! The heater was broken and they gave us a room where we can take a bath but it’s still the same!!!! It’s freezing cold!!! And we had our lunch in hill station, the service was so bad. The crew were not smiling, the service was so slow, and they did not accommodate us properly. The steak is not recommended!!! 😂😂😂

We are glad you enjoyed your stay with us. We are an old hotel, but please be rest assured that the structure is sound and safe for occupancy. We apologize for the hot water, sometimes it takes a while for it to kick in. You may approach the front desk and they will gladly assist you with the shower. Hill Station is a lessee and under different management, but we will relay your concerns to them. Please let us know how else we can improve on your next visit. Thank you for choosing Casa Vallejo and hope to see you again soon!

The hotel is old but maintained. Its a quaint hotel. This hotel best describes Baguio and is ideal for resting, provincial feels. The breakfast was great, i tried thier Usa tapa and taste was great. Also if you need something to read during the stay, you may visit the neighboring bookstore. The location is also great, walking distance to everythng- SM and downtown, tourist destinations.
