the steep driveway towards the parking lot was scary. it has almost a 45 deg slope. the room intended for two people was too small. the bed could barely fit a couple. to gain space, you both need to lie simultaneously on your side. the telephone could not reach the front desk. there’s a dial tone alright, but pressing zero for help was all for naught. you need to approach the receptionist by foot if you need anything. a bummer if you were assigned to a room at the lower level. the shower curtain did not serve its purpose. it was placed too high, it could not block the water from dripping to the other side. a tiny pool of water gathers on the toilet floor. i hate a hotel without offering a stationery and a pen/pencil. casa vallejo is largely made of wood. so expect the

We appreciate your constructive comments. Due to its location on the hill and structural design, we had no choice but to make the entrance that steep. There is also an entrance at the back, which is of normal height, and it is usually used when exiting or to explore the city. All our rooms have a standard Queen sized bed. We have a directory beside the phone wherein all the numbers are listed, even to the different shops located in the hotel. The number for the front desk is not zero. For future reference, you may approach the front desk and they will gladly assist you with replacing the shower curtain or providing you with a stationary and pencil, as is our usual practice. Since we are a heritage hotel, we have kept certain features to maintain its stature. We do have rooms on the opposite side of the road, for a more quiet and comfortable stay. With the air conditioner on and the new thick curtains, this should suffice in muffling the outside noise. Please let us know how else we can improve on your next visit. Thank you for choosing Casa Vallejo and hope you decide to stay with us again so that we may better serve you.

Very cozy rooms but the beds need a bit of an update. The location is great if you want the convenience of Session road and SM mall with all the restaurants and not have to walk. I like the Woodstock feel of the place

Pros 1. Due to increasing traffic, location of hotel is ideal. Close to Cathedral, SM Baguio and walking distance to market. No need to drive. If you get tired there's an abundance of taxis. 2. Room was very clean and very homey. 3. Bathroom clean and hot water very hot. 4. Restaurant located inside hotel has fantastic breakfast. Coffee was out of this world. Went to Public Market strictly to buy the same coffee. Cons: 1. Due to availability ended up with honeymoon suite with aircondtioning. Of course paid extra. And didn't need air-conditioning. Just open the windows. 2. No wifi in rooms. Have to use wifi in lobby. Need to get there early to get a seat on the limited couches in the lobby. Everyone has the same idea. 3. No cable tv in room 2 out of 3 days.

We are so glad you enjoyed your stay with us! Yes, WiFi is only available in the common areas such as the restaurant and lobby for now, but we are working on upgrading our system so that the entire hotel will have connectivity. For future reference, you may approach the front desk and they will gladly assist you and repair or replace your TV. Due to the inclement weather, it may have something to do with the signal or the service provider itself. We do have rooms located on the other side of the hotel, for a more comfortable and quiet stay. If you are in the air-conditioned room, we suggest closing the windows and making use of the AC. This, along with our thicker curtains, usually muffles the sound quite well. Please let us know how else we can improve on your next visit. Thank you for choosing Casa Vallejo and we appreciate your continued patronage. Hope to see you again soon!

Casa Vallejo is a short walk to SM City, Igorot Stairs and is right beside specialty food restaurants like Pamana, Chokolateria, etc. If you have a car, they have a guarded parking area at the back of the hotel which is accessible through a steep inclined road right bedside the hotel. You can access the hotel and rooms through the back entrance. The shortcut is convenient but is crude and unkempt. The moldy stone steps leading to the unpolished wooden stairs to hills station and hotel is dark, damp, unpleasant and unwelcoming. Also be prepared to go through traffic as soon as you exit the hotel as it is located at the main road. Hotel staff are very efficient and friendly. The hotel is decorated in good taste although I was a bit disappointed that the fireplace is just a décor

We are so glad you enjoyed your stay with us! We are Baguio's only heritage hotel and we have worked very hard to preserve this legacy. However, we have put great effort as well into modernizing our facilities and upgrading our amenities for our guests' comfort--without sacrificing our historical value. Casa Vallejo provides guests with pocket experiences of the City of Pines for them to enjoy. We hope that when you visit again, Mt Cloud will be open. We will make sure to relay your appreciation to our staff. Please let us know how else we can improve on your next visit. Thank you for choosing Casa Vallejo and can't wait to have you back!
