We stayed overnight in this hotel. The staff are very accommodating. We had problems in the ACU and they transferred us ASAP in the other room. When we arrived, they upgraded our accommodation from a standard room to a bigger one. The place is historic. A feeling of living in an old mansion.

Drop down doesn’t have Dec 2019 when we actually stayed in Casa Vallejo. It was a family room in the basement. It was quite small and the bathroom was dirty. We stayed for 3 nights. There was one day when the room wasn’t cleaned/made up. The lobby smelled of fried bangus. It wasn’t pleasant.

Location was excellent since the Panagbenga parade was passing through the hotel. Water flowing on the back of the toilet bowl is bad. No exhaust Fan on our toilet. Slamming door, loud footsteps and chatting on the hallway was terrible. Disturb our rest. For safety concern, refrain the housekeeping cart unattended on the hallways, as it blocks the hallway just in case of emergency. Exit map guide behind the door, inside our room, was not updated. Were located at room 201, but the photo shown room 202. Kindly update that for fire and earthquake evacuation concern. Water glass is not clean properly. As observed some fingerprints and stains on the middle of the glass up to the drinking lid / drinking spots. Observed dust on the coffee machine, and stagnant water behind the coffee machine (I dont know when it was used or refilled) Phone has disconnected line. Although we are transferred from room 205 to room 201. Make sure that all the phone line connection was working in good condition to all rooms. Noticed the shampoo, lotion, conditioner and bath gel has containers and refilled, which was an environmental friendly act. Staff name Jhong and his family after the Grand Float Parade has no consideration as we took pictures on the veranda, and his daughter and himself always on the background of our photos. Never leave the Front desk unattended, as I have noticed that no one is in front desk for guests inquiry. Overall, room, other amenities and customer service are superb. Staff name Rose ann, the other girl and Jhong, an OJT name Jzerny and Marijo are very helpful and attentive on our needs which provides excellent service. Houskeeping team name Nicollo and the other guys and girls have good work in making and maintaining our room clean and provide excellent service. Keep smiling and greeting me whenever I came across with the staff. I will definitely go back and stay in Casa Vallejo.

Stayed here for 2 nights. The hotel retains the good cabin feels. All rooms now have air-conditioning units. Availed of the 50% off promo and I was worried that will be getting a non-AC room. Recent renovations have been made. Pros: 1. Accessibility Right in front of SM Baguio. Easy to go in and out to get supplies. Session Rd is just nearby. 2. Pet-friendly They charge 500 pesos per pet and per night. Comes with pet bed, potty trainer, and dog bowl. There’s a pet shop and grooming service in the parking area. 3. Hot Shower Enjoyed the long bath with the reliable supply and water pressure. 4. Hill Station While not pet friendly (we were asked to leave to dogs in the room), perhaps the best restaurant in Baguio is just downstairs. Cons: 1. Small and Noisy Road-side Rooms While the rooms are small, it’s basically designed just a place to sleep in. It has a study table and the fridge and water are tucked away in the cabinets. Carpeted but clean all throughout. Was expecting the bathroom to be tired and dingy but to my surprise, it was squeaky clean. Avoid the rooms facing the street as it is now sound-proof. Small TV and cable signal fades. 2. Limited Parking Space Since the hotel houses the popular Hill Station, patrons can easily crowd the parking area. Staying here is kinda 50/50 experience and a compromise I must say. Just matter of knowing what you want to prioritize. In my case, convenience, accessibility, and most importantly, pet-friendly. While it was not the most restful stay, Casa Vallejo captures the old Baguio charm. Something the newer hotels won’t be able to replicate.

My sister-in-law stayed at Casa Vallejo with her sisters for 3 days. The room they stayed in had a defective toilet that didn't flush properly. They all had to go down to use the john of the hotel resto Hill Station. When she asked for a refund so they could move to another hotel, the front desk clerk said the hotel didn't give refunds, didn't have the toilet fixed, and neither was another room offered to her. Long story short, the beautiful soul that my wife's sister is didn't insist. So, on those 3 days, they stayed in the same room and just used the restaurant's toilet facilities downstairs. Shame on you, Casa Vallejo. When her 7K-per-day stay was done, they hightailed out of the place and moved to a significantly better yet much cheaper hotel along Session Road.

Pros: historical hotel, clean rooms, location is very prime, restaurant in hotel very good, spa next door, parking available, strong hot shower pressure Cons: all rooms in this hotel are ceiling fan rooms- since I booked the honeymoon room, I thought it was aircon since photo had ac. It gets really warm. noisy and busy street (pollution) if windows are open to let in cool air If you want to experience the history, best to just eat at the restaurant. Stay somewherelse.

This is our place for the All Saints Day Holiday. It is a stylish old hotel beside SM Baguio. We got the family room for 4 people facing the courtyard. Room is small and beds are good enough for average size person. Bathroom is clean and they offer toiletries. It is quite an ordeal to adjust the heating system of the shower but otherwise, it is ok. I hope later on, you could also provide family rooms with aircon. Staff are hospitable and nice. Hill Station, their in-house restaurant is definitely the selling point of the hotel...the ambience and food gives this restaurant it’s star....no wonder it is the number one resto in Baguio City. Taekwondo Family gives the silver to Casa Vallejo

A stylish old fashioned place conveniently located near SM and major bus terminus. Their Hill Station restaurant has good food and scenic views. Rooms have all double beds - not big enough for me if I'm sharing! Wifi isn't great - best in reception area. If you are a smoker you must walk down to their parking area. Cato's is a spacious bar just down the road from the hotel. There's also a spa close by. But alas the bookshop which used to be below the restaurant has moved.

we had arroved at a cold rainy evening, when the staff wouldnt let us enter the room and dry up / change clothes before they told us about every little unnecessary detail and possibility to upgrade to AC room(?!). so when we got to the room, fan was running, tv too, but certain lights or ref was unplugged. so we had to crawl on the floor plugging things. very loud and busy road next to room. window of cr unlockable to keep noise or rain out. toughest stay in hotel in decades!! btw we payed for a officaly worth 8000pp room as big as 12sm. breakfast not included. hot water didnt work, sink clugged. even more inconveniences. just dont come here, thank me later!

Hi, we are very sorry to hear your unpleasant stay with us. We appreciate your constructive comments and we'll forward this to our operations manager for them to take immediate action. Since we are located on the road, we can't control the noise on the outside. For your future reference, we have rooms on the other side of the hotel wherein you can have a quiet and comfortable stay. Please let us know how else we can improve our services. Thank you for choosing Casa Vallejo and we hope to see you again so we can serve you better.
