Water flowing on the back of the toilet bowl is bad. No exhaust Fan on our toilet.
Slamming door, loud footsteps and chatting on the hallway was terrible. Disturb our rest.
For safety concern, refrain the housekeeping cart unattended on the hallways, as it blocks the hallway just in case of emergency.
Exit map guide behind the door, inside our room, was not updated. Were located at room 201, but the photo shown room 202. Kindly update that for fire and earthquake evacuation concern.
Water glass is not clean properly. As observed some fingerprints and stains on the middle of the glass up to the drinking lid / drinking spots.
Observed dust on the coffee machine, and stagnant water behind the coffee machine (I dont know when it was used or refilled)
Phone has disconnected line. Although we are transferred from room 205 to room 201. Make sure that all the phone line connection was working in good condition to all rooms.
Noticed the shampoo, lotion, conditioner and bath gel has containers and refilled, which was an environmental friendly act.
Staff name Jhong and his family after the Grand Float Parade has no consideration as we took pictures on the veranda, and his daughter and himself always on the background of our photos.
Never leave the Front desk unattended, as I have noticed that no one is in front desk for guests inquiry.
Overall, room, other amenities and customer service are superb. Staff name Rose ann, the other girl and Jhong, an OJT name Jzerny and Marijo are very helpful and attentive on our needs which provides excellent service. Houskeeping team name Nicollo and the other guys and girls have good work in making and maintaining our room clean and provide excellent service. Keep smiling and greeting me whenever I came across with the staff.
I will definitely go back and stay in Casa Vallejo.
Though there are some noise due to the contruction adjacent to the hotel. Hotel staff are all friendly. Very near to everything. Just need to upgrade the bfast menu.

Room was spacious and clean though we had a little problem with their hot shower but it was fixed immediately.
Though the staff were friendly, they weren't very helpful. Asking them for some informations about some location, thinking that they knew more than us, ended up just searching the net. But no biggie.
Stay was still great. :)

Safety was our priority, and we were willing to pay extra for peace of mind.
Upon arrival, the staff was friendly and welcoming, helping us with our luggage since there is no elevator and the parking area is in the basement. Check-in was smooth, and personal details were taken for reference—except for the plate number.
We chose not to drive during our stay due to the holiday traffic and road closures in the city center. The hotel’s central location allowed us to walk around Baguio conveniently.
Our room, which overlooked the parking area, was quiet enough but lacked soundproofing, allowing us to hear noise from nearby establishments.
On the morning of checkout, between 7 a.m. and 10 a.m., we heard an alarm that sounded similar to our car’s, but we assumed it was another vehicle since ours hadn’t been moved since we arrived.
When it came time to leave, I stayed inside the hotel while my husband went to retrieve the car. Oddly, a staff member approached me, stating that the car was ready out front, even though I hadn’t mentioned any details about our vehicle.
The staff helped load our bags into the car, and we left with a positive impression—until we got home.
To our disappointment, we discovered our car was damaged: a scraped fender, a dent, and scratched wheels. We were certain the damage hadn’t occurred during the drive home. I immediately contacted the hotel, and they redirected me to the guard on duty. He informed me that a Pajero had triggered an alarm in the parking area but couldn’t identify the owner due to a lack of information (as we hadn’t been asked for the plate number).
The guard’s statement didn’t align with the manager’s explanation, and despite the hotel’s promises to look into the matter, we never received a conclusive response. The staff mentioned that CCTV was unavailable due to renovations at the back of the hotel—though we doubted this explanation.
Our visit was supposed to be a relaxing holiday, but the unresolved damage to our vehicle was a major disappointment. It took months to get the repairs done, and we’ve since learned some valuable lessons: always inspect your car before leaving any premises, consider a dashcam, and park in areas with CCTV coverage.
In summary, while the staff’s hospitality was commendable, the lack of accountability and security left us dissatisfied with our stay.
Why share this now? With the holiday season approaching, many tourists and guests will be visiting Baguio and may choose this hotel for their stay or for dining. This review is simply to raise awareness.
As I said location great - and the hill station restaurant on site is also really good (if a tad expensive). But poor old Casa needs some love!
