Worst hotel experience ever since first night stay. No one gave us a hand to help us with our baggage upon arriving. I have a toddler with me with many baggage, given that they do not have an elevator or escalator at least. Every single time we request for a room make up, the arrangement of the beddings remain the same when we got back. They only pick up the trash in the bin and replenish the toiletries and that's it. Also, we got overcharged. Worst of all is that 2 weeks has already passed as of this posting and we still haven't received the refund yet. They are so full of excuses. Will never return nor recommend this hotel to anyone. The room appearance and service quality doesn't deserve the rates being charged to guests.
stayed 2 nights, accommodating and nice staff, free decent breakfast, near burnham park, Rizal Park. many restaurants nearby, Good Taste, Sizzling Plate, Shakey's , Chinese restaurant and korean restaurant.
Paladin Hotel is a must visit hotel in Baguio City. It is a walking distance from Burnham Park, Good Taste Restaurant and Cafe by the Ruins. The economy room is clean, complete of basic toiletries and have a good ambience. Love their breakfast which consists of one viand and unlimited rice, pancit, fruits and overflowing coffee. The hotel staff are very accommodating. Love the different quotes they placed on the different level of stairs.
We stayed for one night....the desk staff was outstanding. The location was good for what we needed. The room was fine. My wife didn't like the bathroom. We had breakfast included in our stay. I am not sure if it was the guys serving food or just a lack of communication. It was set up as a buffet--I think. But, when you got up to the serving trays, only a few things were available. Our kids did not get enough to eat...we ended up having to go out for breakfast. If you are going to have a buffet...do it right.
Spent 3 weeks here, nice clean rooms, walking distance to everything, great staff and great price. Several decent places to eat within 5 minute walk and park right down the street. one of better places in town for price..
The Hotel is good for budget room but expect what you get. No elevator available and good luck if your room is located at the 4th floor. The room itself is only good for two because the room was so small The breakfast is a limited selection and unli rice available. You cannot smoke in Baguio but we saw some locals are smoking but be aware for the police that will penalies you. The room is outdated need some room refurbishment. Near to Good Taste Resto and to Session Road Guards are polite and good personality.
correct hotel , quite cheap, in the center of Baguio close to central park, lot of stairs to climb to your room, humoristic indications on some steps, bit noisy with the traffic in front of the hotel, ok
I stayed in early Sept, and cannot believe some of the feedback here. The staff are incredibly attentive, speak excellent English, and nothing was too much trouble. The inclusive breakfast is adequate, and with sufficient choice to suit even the most finicky eater. The stairs to reception would not suit the aged or infirm, and our room had two sizeable steps from the door, and bathroom door down to the main living area. (If you had not dried your feet thoroughly it was quite hazardous.) Other than this, I could see no fault, and the massage is so welcome after walking in such a hilly town. We found it comfortable, and whilst the bedcovers provided were not thick, had I been cold, I'm sure an extra blanket would have been available. Great value for money.
Same with Bianca M (previous review), my secretary booked my hotel room through Agoda and to my surprise that the front desk clerk asked for 1% service charge (why?). It was too difficult for me to sign the WAIVER OF AGREEMENT as the ladies told me I need to vacate the room at 11am whereas it clearly states in the waiver that I have to vacate the room at 12nn. The toilet in their resto stinks!!! I would rather go to a nearby "eatery" than to have another of their "free" breakfast. N.B. There is a charge when you want to borrow their hair dryer.
We checked in in this hotel thru traveloka , at first we paid the room accommodation plus service charge of cebuana lhuillier since we pay it thru payment channel. Apparently, when we arrived at the hotel, they are asking for a service charge of 1% of the total amount of our room. I thought it is already included on their room price. The room is good for three persons but the CR was too small (as in!). The sheets or the mattress has a foul order to think that one of my friends says that "ndi ata pinapalitan o pinapaarawan un mattress?". At the evening, I asked my friend to transfer into my bed since the aircon is releasing some water. About the free breakfast so far it was all good , they gave unli rice and pansit.
