Location is good very accessible to Burnham Park, a few minutes walk to the market and there are lots of restaurant nearby. The only downside is the property itself for the room is not that clean and needs a lot of improvements though the staffs are quite friendly. Slippers are not provided; rags are recycled and dirty; internet connection is weak; hoping they can make improvements based on comments and reviews of guests.
I updated my room to get sunlight but I wasn't warned that the rooms facing Burnham was too noisy at night. There's a bar that's open until 3am and the elevator keeps making a sound. Avoid this hotel. The manager doesn't know how to handle an angry customer and wasn't even sympathetic when I said I have cancer.
Nice location close to the Park. Clean premises, friendly staff. Great option was that I was able to book through Qantas and pay with Frequent Flyer points. They can also offer assistance organising tours. There is a small Supermarket and pharmacy close by.
If you haven't been to other hotels maybe you will rate it as 5 stars. But most of the reviews are negative yet the Inn don't bother to make improvements. Easy money coming in. I haven't seen any housekeeper around. Bunch of lazy people. The picture looks good but in reality, it's dark and gloomy. If it is very substandard, the price should be way less. The staff is friendly and location is convenient.
Was overcharged. Bad WiFi. Sticky floor. Bad shower with only a one sachet of shampoo and a small soap provided. No glasses or cups, no water boiler, no minibar. Paperthin walls making sleep quality very low. Old and worn. Only one positive, location. Not recommended.
