Chic hotel across SM Baguio and a few steps from Session Road. I like this hotel. Still new and well maintained. The dark theme of the hallway is not to my liking though. The whole checkin experience was a breeze. The corner unit room has a weird shape but I dont mind. We did not include breakfast in our stay since we are always out of the hotel and we wanted to eat somewhere else.
I’ll start off with saying that my wife and I stayed here in 2019 and had an excellent stay. The hotel was fairly new at the time and everything functioned. Well things have certainly changed over the past couple of years. The only reason I am not giving a one star is because the front desk staff were friendly and welcoming upon checkin and the location is great. To the many things wrong with this hotel and why you should definitely find somewhere else to stay when you’re in Baguio… The first problem we encountered was the room having a strong chemical/fragrant smell with a sticky residue on all of the surfaces, I’m not sure if they had sprayed some sort of air freshener or something before we arrived but it was quite strong and bad. Secondly the general cleanliness of the room is off putting. There was a thick coating of dust around the tv and on the table next to the bed, gross. The door had hand prints and smudges from the top to bottom as well. The worst of all these issues is the bathroom. Don’t expect to get too clean here because our shower was a trickle of water and not much beyond that, don’t forget to pack your tabo. The staff offered no resolution for a room swap or anything for any of these issues. To finalize, this hotel has lots of cheerful reviews, maybe it was just our specific room in disrepair. However it is advertised as a nice hotel you’d expect some amenities at. There was not even a washcloth or hairdryer in the bathroom. I do regret my stay here this time and would caution if you plan on staying here.…
great place to stay, the staff was excellent in fixing our flawed reservation. the room was great with two views. location close to mall. the breakfast was expensive and purely Filipino, so we walked across the street to the Hill Station for breakfast, one note, 5 our of 5 taxi drivers did not know where it was but did know the place next door, 45 Hotel, so use that for bearings with a taxi driver. there was no coffee available in the room but the coffee shop in the lobby was good, all and all a good experience, we will go there again,
Stayed here with my family for the new year. Got the family room for the 4 of us. PROS- excellent location, staff very friendly and accomodating, bed and comforter warm and comfortable, good value for money CONS- room lacking in basic amenities (no desk to put stuff, no glass for drinking or brushing teeth), shower not fully enclosed hence water splashes out, doesnt clean the room (DOH directive allegedly), parking tight, kitchen closes very early (7pm), coffee tastes like water Although there may be lots of CONS, the staff's excellent hospitality and drive to accommodate any of our requests certainly makes up for all deficiencies. Overall, a pleasant experience and will highly recommend to others.
The best asset of this accommodation is its location. Literally just walking distance to everything: bus terminal, mall, best restaurants (!) and tourist spots. No problem with transportation too because its on a main road and taxis pass by almost anytime. The hotel is a modern rustic-ish lodge that has a cafe and a restaurant. Breakfast was alright. Staff were super friendly and very helpful. The room was nice, cozy, with a small balcony overlooking a handful of roofs. Nice bed with smart tv. Had a bit of a problem with the shower plumbing but we managed. Overall it was not perfect but would still definitely stay here for its money's worth and its superb location.
