it was our last day in baguio and as we were heading back to our hotel to check out, we came upon this restaurant which advertisement we saw in our fb accounts the previous day. it offers a spread of mongolian, filipino and japanese dishes which we enjoyed heartily. since it was already a late lunch, there were only a couple of tables that were occupied. we almost had the whole place to ourselves. it was not exactly the Ritz, but this place is convenient, clean and gives good value for your money. highly recommends this hotel restaurant.

The Mongolian and A Taste of Asia Buffet is always something to look forward to. I can get as many as I want and go back to the buffet table as many times as I can. So many food choices even from the menu. Their tomahawk is also juicy. The best i've tasted.

Stayed here because my nephew’s birthday was held in their function room. Our Loft Room is one for the books. We loved it. Downside though is their lack of variety choices for breakfast. But overall, we had a good time.

We arrived early for our accommodation and we casually asked if we can check-in earlier. We were surprised that they accepted our request without additional fees. The rooms are clean, the beds are similar to a standard hotel. I highly recommend getting the Garlic Longganisa for breakfast. It's yummy and includes freshly brewed coffee. The hotel is accessible to two spas (I forgot their names) but I know there was a spa that I had to walk up to a dark alley. Also, there is now a City Ordinance that prohibits Smoking, so to all smoking guests, make sure to start stopping now when you visit Baguio City.

In summary, our hotel room and its location were ok but hotel staff were rude and unaccommodating. We were charged with extra fees upon checkout - which they did not let us know upon check-in. Will not book again and definitely not recommend.

There are a couple of rooms with wheelchair-accessible CR but they don't automatically assign it to you, you need to request for it short of demand even it they see you during check in that you are on a wheelchair. Front desk personnel and other staff are nice but it would be better if they can be more active in offering the best things in the house. Burger and Lasagna are good. The bar has thematic music. No ramp from outside to the lobby, have to go 1 level below the lobby and take the elevator. There was power interruption when I was there and I can not go to my room on the 5th floor. The male staff are nice enough 4 of them to help in going up to stairs. Resto, stores are near the hotel. The back view of the hotel resto is great except for that shopping mall. There is a designated smoking area.

Baguio reminds me a little of my hometown, Jacksonhole, Wyoming, natural, charming, and very artsy. This new hotel is nicely appointed with modern top of the line beddings, new beds, and a great restaurant which includes free breakfast. I missed the breakfast on the second day since it was 10am cut-off. They should have later cutoff time for western tourists who like to sleep in and laze around before heading to breakfast especially on a holiday. The location is near the nurseries but a bit far from the center of town but you will enjoy a peaceful sleep and the nice location.

I've stayed at the Manor, Bloomfields, Casa Vallejo for it's historical value, but the Ritz is brand new so I decided to try it last year and I've stayed at this place three times already especially when I'm undecided as to where to stay. This is mainly a couple's hotel and the brand new fluffy sheets and comforters with duvet covers make it so comfortable on a cold Baguio evening. And the bathroom has all the high end fixtures and well designed and executed. The dining area downstairs is also very airy and open and bright letting in the morning light. Very convenient location too. just walk down the hill and you're in the middle of it all. It's quiet inexpensive given the level of comfort and luxury in this new hotel.

It is a new hotel, so definetely you will enjoy clean and fresh scent on every corner of this Hotel. Staffs are friendly and reliable. Though when I visited Ritz hotel it was just in its soft opening, so the food I got to experience is the free breakfast that was prepared in a simple nice plating that made me feel I'm home. My yellow coffee cup and saucer made it even inviting. The Chef invited me for their food tasting that night for their upcoming menu and it was really good! Prices are affordable and with big servings. For family or couple this is the perfect hotel, because their room rates are practical and affordable. But for solo since they do not have single room with single bed its costly. But if you have the budget its ok. The location is near convenient stores and 15 mins walk to Burnham Park. Definitely I will be back and bring my family!

This hotel is new. Booking accommodations at the last minute, I was glad to find this on Agoda. We got three rooms. We super appreciate the warm accommodation on a chilly visit. We arrived in Baguio at 5am after leaving Manila at 1am. Before coming I sent a message in their Facebook page informing our early arrival. The response was quick. Since we have children with us, we truly appreciated the early check in so we were able to sleep the whole morning. The curtains are total blackout so it was a restful sleep. Some observations plus suggestions which I hope the management can improve on for added excellent service: > Modern minimalist interior. The modern elevator is impressive. The hallway, neat! > Earth colors, good option as they are calmer. > Published as two queen beds in a room but when we arrived it has two double bed sizes, not queen size! > My toddler son was asking why there are no paintings on the wall - they are merely gray painted tones. Perhaps one or two would be nice as accents. > The headboard design goes well with the theme. > No slippers are provided for ceramic tiled floors which are cold. Bring your own. > T&B is modern with nice wall tile accent at shower area. > Shower options: hand held and rain shower. > The hot water setting suddenly turns cold in the middle of use- probably if the other room uses, the temperature fluctuates? > There is no door to the shower and water splashes on to dry area. But there is a floor towel mat provided. > Has shampoo, conditioner and two soaps. > Toilet has bidet washer which is great! > No hair blower- bring your own. The next day they provided hair blowers though, still in their original boxes. > Two towels are provided. > I like that there are ledges in the shower area to put toiletries. But there is no soap dish around. > The towel hook behind the door is rusty. > Hangers provided at open closet are only two. We should have brought our own. We were attending a wedding and we have more clothes to hang. > No iron/iron board. A similar priced hotel in Batangas we stayed in has. I think they provide ironing services for a minimal fee. > No mini-ref. There is an electric water heater and two cups and saucers, two glasses but no coffee or tea. Not even welcome water to drink. Bring your own. But they provide water in pitcher upon request or you can refill your own containers at the restaurant below. Housekeeping requests are so quick which we called in for bathroom assistance, tissue request. Room is strictly for two adults. We paid P500 each for our two children (12 and above) per night of stay and it does not include an extra bed which has a separate rate. The restaurant at the ground floor is spacious with a view of the neighborhood (SM Baguio, University of the Cordilleras). They are nicer at night - SM with the lights on. There is even an enclosed area for bigger group for privacy or corporate functions. There is a square dining table that sits 12. Awesome, with nice centerpiece! Being in Baguio where restaurants and cafes are left to right, we stuck with RITZ dining surprisingly. After taking brunch on our first day, we told our other friends who were billeted in the other rooms how good and affordable the food was so they wanted to try it for dinner. And brought in more friends to eat with us. Menu must-try: Watermelon and feta salad (for sharing at P190!). The greens are sooo fresh! My son remarked that the serving is a "forest!" The main dishes mostly come with rice for sharing also as the serving is really big for just one. We also ordered: Crispy pork belly Salisbury steak Salpicao Chicken curry Beef brisket For breakfast we got to try all the set varieties: Baguio longanisa, tapa, boneless bangus, tocino, all served with garlic rice and eggs, coffee/tea or hot chocolate (best). They accept special requests for omelets. However all fruit juices are from the can, not fresh. Their deserts are a must -try too! Do not ever miss the red velvet! It overshadowed the chocolate cake. And the churros? Freshly made, crunchy, fragrant and so filling, you will "forget your name." Every staff greeted us politely and served quickly for each request (housekeeping, restaurant, reception). This is one comfy place to feel at home in in Baguio City!
