This hotel is new. Booking accommodations at the last minute, I was glad to find this on Agoda. We got three rooms. We super appreciate the warm accommodation on a chilly visit. We arrived in Baguio at 5am after leaving Manila at 1am. Before coming I sent a message in their Facebook page informing our early arrival. The response was quick. Since we have children with us, we truly appreciated the early check in so we were able to sleep the whole morning. The curtains are total blackout so it was a restful sleep. Some observations plus suggestions which I hope the management can improve on for added excellent service: > Modern minimalist interior. The modern elevator is impressive. The hallway, neat! > Earth colors, good option as they are calmer. > Published as two queen beds in a room but when we arrived it has two double bed sizes, not queen size! > My toddler son was asking why there are no paintings on the wall - they are merely gray painted tones. Perhaps one or two would be nice as accents. > The headboard design goes well with the theme. > No slippers are provided for ceramic tiled floors which are cold. Bring your own. > T&B is modern with nice wall tile accent at shower area. > Shower options: hand held and rain shower. > The hot water setting suddenly turns cold in the middle of use- probably if the other room uses, the temperature fluctuates? > There is no door to the shower and water splashes on to dry area. But there is a floor towel mat provided. > Has shampoo, conditioner and two soaps. > Toilet has bidet washer which is great! > No hair blower- bring your own. The next day they provided hair blowers though, still in their original boxes. > Two towels are provided. > I like that there are ledges in the shower area to put toiletries. But there is no soap dish around. > The towel hook behind the door is rusty. > Hangers provided at open closet are only two. We should have brought our own. We were attending a wedding and we have more clothes to hang. > No iron/iron board. A similar priced hotel in Batangas we stayed in has. I think they provide ironing services for a minimal fee. > No mini-ref. There is an electric water heater and two cups and saucers, two glasses but no coffee or tea. Not even welcome water to drink. Bring your own. But they provide water in pitcher upon request or you can refill your own containers at the restaurant below. Housekeeping requests are so quick which we called in for bathroom assistance, tissue request. Room is strictly for two adults. We paid P500 each for our two children (12 and above) per night of stay and it does not include an extra bed which has a separate rate. The restaurant at the ground floor is spacious with a view of the neighborhood (SM Baguio, University of the Cordilleras). They are nicer at night - SM with the lights on. There is even an enclosed area for bigger group for privacy or corporate functions. There is a square dining table that sits 12. Awesome, with nice centerpiece! Being in Baguio where restaurants and cafes are left to right, we stuck with RITZ dining surprisingly. After taking brunch on our first day, we told our other friends who were billeted in the other rooms how good and affordable the food was so they wanted to try it for dinner. And brought in more friends to eat with us. Menu must-try: Watermelon and feta salad (for sharing at P190!). The greens are sooo fresh! My son remarked that the serving is a "forest!" The main dishes mostly come with rice for sharing also as the serving is really big for just one. We also ordered: Crispy pork belly Salisbury steak Salpicao Chicken curry Beef brisket For breakfast we got to try all the set varieties: Baguio longanisa, tapa, boneless bangus, tocino, all served with garlic rice and eggs, coffee/tea or hot chocolate (best). They accept special requests for omelets. However all fruit juices are from the can, not fresh. Their deserts are a must -try too! Do not ever miss the red velvet! It overshadowed the chocolate cake. And the churros? Freshly made, crunchy, fragrant and so filling, you will "forget your name." Every staff greeted us politely and served quickly for each request (housekeeping, restaurant, reception). This is one comfy place to feel at home in in Baguio City!…
