it wasnt a luxury hotel yes but it was very ok for a stay in baguio. very near sm city baguio. just accross the street. free breakfast which is also good. free valet parking but it will take minutes of waiting esp if your car is placed at the very back of the parking lot so early advice would help a lot. staff are also friendly. receptionists esp the tall guy there is friendly and giving us better recommendations. manong guard is alert. the room aint that superb but its ok. they have water heater too. small ref. small sink. and aircon 😉

Just love the cheerful hospitality of the Staff from Security, Front Desk, Housekeeping and Patch. To us this is a family-oriented hotel with a difference. Felt secured and relaxed during our 3 days stay at Bloomfield. Surely, we will come back next month.

A newly renovated hotel right across SM Baguio. I honestly I'm not the type of easily persuaded by pictures. But what I liked the hotel at first were the hotel staff. They replied promptly to my inquiries via e-mail. I'll just enumerate my over all experience below :)

1. RESERVATION/INQUIRIES.
I just filled-up the online form here http://www.bloomfieldhotel.com/reservation.html OR just send them e-mail for inquiries info@bloomfieldhotel.com OR you can text/call them thru +639175100044

2. PAYMENT.
I paid thru BPI and send the picture of the deposit slip. Then they send me a confirmation letter stating your Arrival and Departure Date, Room type and rate, deposited amount and balance amount if any. you may request to include on the letter your assigned room :)

3. ARRIVAL.
Check in time: 2PM. You may leave your bags at the hotel when you arrive earlier than the check in time. They have a bags counter intended for guests need to leave their things.

4. LOBBY AND ROOM
"WOW" was the first word I said when I entered the hotel, it was newly renovated. Everything was classy! Interior and exterior designs was superb! I could not believe the hotel offers an affordable price but have an excellent hotel setup. Receptionists were, ehem, good looking and polite guys :) We're assigned at Room 41 Deluxe with Balcony, 4th Floor. The room was superb clean, good smell. The receptionist handed me a room checklist and wifi password. Wifi was fast and free! Our room had a 2 towels, 2 disposable slippers, blower, 2 glasses and toiletries. Our room was overlooking the road and SM Baguio.

5. FOOD AND STAFF.
Everyone were alert on guest's needs, even the cafe servers were alert and friendly. We have a free breakfast. 2 choices to choose from: Filipino or american breakfast. A complete meal with free drink. I ordered a creampuff and a cupcake as an additional and it was delicious! and oh, if you're not sure how to go to a place, you may ask the guard on duty and surely he knows everything! :)

6. LOCATION
Across SM Baguio and very near to Bus Stations, Session Road and Baguio Cathedral. Very convenient location! and what's more, all PUJs were passing through the hotel! we survived getting around baguio by taking PUJs :)

Overall experience, I felt rich. LOL! I thank all the personnel assisted us during our stay. A classy hotel with an affordable rates and convenient location. What more could I ask more? :)

We visit Baguio every year and would usually stay at a budget business hotel along Kisad. This time, we went on a whim and hotel room was scarce since its the last hurrah before the 2020 work season starts. Booked Bloomfield through a phone inquiry. The person was pleasant and only required 50% deposit before our trip.

We were excited since this is a new experience. I won't bore you with an emotional narration:
1. Welcomed by helpful guards and parking staff.
2. Upon check-in, I was informed that we had to pay for an extra person charge. I was transparent with the # of people and the ages of the people staying with us. I refused to pay for the extra charge.
3. When we entered the rooms, it was dark & sad.
4. The shower handle was not functioning well and we only had HOT shower water coming out. no in between.
5. The bed was damp, over fabric conditioner scented and we kept sneezing throughout our stay.
6. You can hear the people through the walls. We were woken up at 6am with people laughing.

The only redeeming factor was the Patch Cafe. OK food. Good champorado.

They hired a nice photographer to capture amazing photos for website and trip. But sadly our experience was not as good.

What irked me the most was how the reception person handled us. When I asked why I had to pay for extra, he started giving me attitude. Visibly he was irritated and as a new client who traveled all the way to Baguio city, sleep deprived and hungry it was a wrong combination.

Instantly booked at a different hotel. A BETTER ONE! We didn't mind paying extra.

Air conditioner leaked overnight. The corner of our room flooded, our stuff and food got wet, destroyed and spoiled. Informed the management but they said there is no manager present. Only solution was to change the aircon unit while they let us sit here in the lobby. Nothing was offered to compensate with this disaster!

For the price we couldve gone somewhere cleaner and better. Had check in problems specifications where not addressed. They booked the wrong rooms for us. Parking is also terrible. Re designed lobby is nice but the rooms are old and musty. Booked two rooms and both rooms are old, dank and musty. We will be transferring hotels tom.

This was my first visit to Baguio City, my first stay at the hotel and I felt so at home. Five stars to you guys!

So I hope this review helps others out there like me who had trouble deciding which hotel to stay in. Hence, I will give as much detail as possible.

Making the Booking:
So we booked the room via phone, they gave us a number of days to pay for the reservation via bank deposit (BPI). But due to the Papal Visit, it was a pain in the butt to head to the bank but they allowed us to settle payment when we got to the hotel. Very thoughtful, considerate, and nice of the them.

The Hotel Staff:
The hotel staff were attentive and acknowledged requests we've made (4th floor room, near the elevator, etc.) They greeted us with warm smiles and a very positive vibe which was a major plus after a 6hr travel.

The Room:
Room 41 (Deluxe with Balcony)
- Overlooking SM Baguio and Session Road
- 1st room from the elevator
- 1st room from the stairs
- Very strong wifi signal
- Very strong data signal (Smart LTE)

Pros:
A huge bed, with a total of four large pillows, fitted sheets and a warm blanket, all were very clean and smelled good. Lamp on each side of the bed and dim yellow lights, a huge closet with hangers and a wooden table with drawer plus one comfy stool. The balcony was small but perfect for those evenings when you want to just feel the cool breeze.

The bathroom had both hot and cold shower, two sets of soap and shampoo, four towels plus one foot towel, two glasses for brushing your teeth and a solid sink.

Cons:
The room could have had one white light, the yellow light tends to get too dim sometimes even in the morning, u less you flip the curtains.

The Verdict:
Overall this was a perfect place for me and my other half where we wanted to be able to have some quiet time together while being at the heart of the city at the same time.

I relied solely from reviews in choosing this hotel over the others. While its location is practically strategic as it is near session road, there were a few negative points that are worth mentioning, hoping that the management will look into. We stayed in one of their junior suites, and as we entered the room, we were greeted by the smell of something old and dusty.I had to spray cologne all over the room to make the smell more inviting. The sofa cover had a big stain/smear that looked like black tar to me. The towels were forlornly old, worn out, dusty that looked more like rags than towels.Comfort room was very small with poor drainage as the floor would always be wet with water coming from the shower room. Breakfast had limited menu to choose from and serving was not
generous. They lack crew to wait on the tables.

Stayed here for the 3rd time and the latest one was an awful experience.

Bloomfield Hotel has seen better days.
We stayed at the Suite A and the room was just ok. Spacious but already has signs of wear and tear.

Location is terrible. It's at the side of a very busy road going up Session. Can they spend some dime on sound proofing the windows and balcony doors? You won't get that old Baguio feel here for sure.

Accommodation comes with breakfast. Terrible service at Patch Cafe. We waited almost an hour for them to serve our breakfast. They even forgot some of our orders. Really awful. Not worth the effort to deal with bad customer service.

This is no longer the old Bloomfield I used to go to. Quite upsetting to see and experience its deteriorating stage.

Go some place else. Not worth your money.

My family and I travelled to Baguio from March 30 - April 1, 2013. This is probably the 7th or 8th time that i stayed at Bloomfield Hotel. I have never given this Hotel a review before, however i thought now would probably be the best time.

LOCATION: I love it's location, it's accessible to almost everything. It's easy to locate too because of it's proximity to SM which is impossible to miss. The Cathedral is just a few steps away as well as the famous Session Road which you can actually see from the facade of the Hotel. Though located on a busy area, at night it gets quiet so you don't lose a good nights sleep. It doesn't have a big garden though or a pool area where the guests can relax. Overall i give it's Location 4 stars.

RATES: I find the pricing a little steep considering the facilities and accomodations it has to offer, i guess it's because of it's location. My bestfriend told me it's one of the best hotels to stay at during PANAGBENGA since you would have a good view of the parade. Overall i give it 3.5 stars for Rates.

ROOMS: It was my Bestfriend who told me about this Hotel, i believe the word she used was "comfy", and it was at the time. We were given a room with a view, it had a balcony where you can watch the sun rise and get a full view of Session Road. And so, on my succeeding trips to Baguio i have decided to stay on this Hotel. Having tried almost their rooms from their Deluxe rooms on the upper and lower floors, Suite A and Junior Executive Suite. At first the rooms looked okay to me, but these last trips they barely pass my criteria. For the price i'm paying it feels like a rip off. The rooms needs some serious furbishing. They still use the lock and key method on the doors. The bathrooms needs to have a total redo also. I abhor dirty bathrooms. I dont know why they would clean the bathroom in between guests and decide to miss a spot with molds for the next guest to be dreary about. Even the towels and beddings are dirty white in the truest sense of the word. I had to ask the lady at the front desk to have our bathroom cleaned again because it still has molds. They only give you shampoo, conditioner and soap. No toothbrush and toothpaste, i guess they're not big on dental hygiene. I always bring my own toiletries but still it would be nice to have a back up in case you forget your own. The hot water tends to go on/off too, the sliding door on the shower area looks like it's gonna give in already. The toilet area is cramp too. It had a toilet paper dispenser where everytime you try to get some it rips into tiny pieces. The beddings have seen better days i think it's time for a change, after a long day a good night sleep on a clean, comfortable bed is all i need of course that's after a warm bath on a clean bathroom. Overall i give it's Rooms 2.5 stars.

CAFE: On our last trip they called our room to ask us if we wanted to put advance orders for our breakfast so we don't have to wait in the morning. The following morning we went down to eat. It took a while for somebody to sit us. We gave them our room no. and ordered an extra meal. After a long wait the breakfast we ordered the night before finally arrived. They even gave my mom the wrong meal. Even the preparation for the egg that i requested wasn't done right. Our extra meal didn't come until after some more minutes because the two people manning the Cafe were having a hard time trying to figure out our orders. Even after i told them already countless times what we're missing they still wont listen to me and tried to work it out themselves. I had to raised my voice a little so they would finally shut up and pay attention to what i'm saying. The next morning we came down to eat breakfast again, we were already sitted a few minutes and not one person tried to prepare the table for us. When the food finally came, there are no silverware for us to use, even the condiments you have to fetch yourself. I wouldn't mind only there are 2 kids with us and it's hard enough trying to eat without you having to wander around looking for stuffs you need. I ordered American breakfast in the hopes of having a PB & J on our last day. To my horror they don't have PB. They gave me butter instead. They're making up stuffs, had i been told that they don't have and had a weird combination instead i would've change my order. When the silverwares arrive we were given 1 thin napkin folded in half, God forbid you stain your clothes then you're doomed because guess what apparently all you'll ever need is 1 tiny napkin. The servers looked like they're in trance, they don't ask if we need anything and whatnot. Overall i give their Cafe service 2 stars.

And because of these latest experience that i decided not to stay on this Hotel anymore. Also i dont feel that they're doing things to better improve their services and facilities. It's a shame i dont feel like i get my money's worth anymore.

Hi Cory, It might be better to try to book the hotel via Booking sites like Booking or Agoda, where the rooms are sometimes cheaper.

Hello, you might want to search for their website for the updated rates and availability. Yes, breakfast is included in the room package. They have parking but it's limited so bets to go there early.
