It was my 4th time in Baguio City and I was with my partner for an advanced holiday leisure trip. We stayed at A Hotel Baguio City and I can say that their best asset is their employees. Red, the Front Desk officer when we arrived, warmly assisted us to all our needs during our check-in. She well represented the hotel’s hospitality service and she’s very helpful. The hotel is strategically located at the commercial district of Baguio were most of the tourist attraction are few walks away from the hotel. However, it could’ve been a nicer place to stay if rooms are a bit sound proof. It was annoying when sounds of the jeepney machines and the busy street of Shuntug bothers us duri ng rush hours.

The room we stayed is quite dull and nothing amazed us in the hotel. The hotel rate, for me, does not reflects in the hotel rooms. There is no Safety vault, no flat iron (available upon request with fee), internet service is unstable, the room is just raw; bed, tv and tables only. No place for your luggage.

But overall, this place is really nice if you want an accommodation in Baguio City. Good job to the staff of this hotel!

When we stayed in this hotel it happened that the elavator was out of order so we just used the stairs instead and our room happens to be in the 4th floor so tiring climbing the stairs especially that we came from walking to diff. tourist spots nearby.
We occupied 3 rooms for single double n family rooms..its clean and comfortable bed, new furnishings, although you can hear the noise from outside, i think its because of their sliding window and a glass doors.
I noticed also that their glass doors had a super tiny holes or like a small scratch in their tinted door that you could see someone inside when you're viewing outside the door, i noticed it because everytime we go out i went to other 2 rooms to know if were ready to go outside for our tour thats why i noticed the tiny hole and i observed also that to other rooms even if you just pass by you'll notice it if you're keen enough...what i did was i put a toothpaste in the hole inside so that it can't be viewed outside...when we check out i asked the staff about it and they said that its their guest who made fun of it...but i don't think so...Also i cant hardly open my door maybe the card but i do it several times before it can be open..
Breakfast was good, the location was good coz its in the city, there was a terminal of jeepney outside the hotel and its packed of people and a bit noisy.

Baguio's latest secret - a value-for-money accommodation right smack in the midst of all the action. Abanao and Session Roads are just a step away; at the back streets are restaurants, ukay-ukay shops, and Burnham Park itself. New, clean, convenient and very friendly staff to cater to your needs. Really appreciated their willingness to accept early check-in for those taking night trips and arriving at odd hours. Room is reasonably priced for a place to sleep, change clothes, store your shopping stuff, and take a shower. The free breakfast with unlimited coffee and bread with jam is a major plus. Staff are very courteous and helpful from the security guard hailing taxis, to the porter to carry bags and shopping stuff, to the receptionist esp Ms. Rachel Abuan.

Waste of Money, Time and Effort.

- No Cable Service; TV not operational; No Remote Control.

- No Wardrobe/Closet/Cabinet/Drawers to store your stuff;

- Misrepresentation for the Family Room as the beds provided would not suffice to fit for 4 persons,

- Window view is a blank wall;

- No food and drinks service; No Water Heating Kettle, Microwave Oven, Fridge,

- Shower Heater is very difficult to operate and maintain preferred water temp.,

- Provided just a small, round table and 2 chairs for in-room dining in a family room,

- Room has a Claustrophobic Ambiance,

- You get just 50% refund if you decide to cut short your stay.

- Actual Room Appearance is very much different from the pics in FB and website

A-hotel provided what I've been looking for a hotel. 1. CLEAN ROOM. We arrived so tired due to long drive but when we arrived at the hotel, I was impressed by how clean it was. They'd also ask if you'd want to clean up your room everyday. 2. GREAT LOCATION. This was the main reason I chose A-hotel because it is located in the heart of Baguio city. Walking distance from Burnham park, SM City Baguio, Pasalubong center, Night Market and many restos. You dont have to spend taxi fare for most of your trips. And what made me love this hotel is their HOSPITALITY. The staff were so nice and courteous. From the security guard who helped us w/ our luggage to receptionist, to cleaning staff and dining staff. They make you feel you're home and welcome. You get the value for your money. Will definitely come back this summer.

Very poor service... they don't even do the room service.. that's basic in a hotel... even the crews are not that accomodating... and the location is not so inviting, you won't feel you're in Baguio.. not recommending!

Just walked-in in this new hotel at 11pm on a Friday night. Good thing a double room was available :) Staff were very courteous and helpful despite the late night check-in.
Room was spacious, can accommodate extra bed/mattress. There's cable TV, dresser and stool, 2 bottled water, clothes hanger but no cabinet, side table with lamp and phone. Bathroom is just right, with towels, basic toiletries, hot and cold shower and most importantly, there's a bidet!!! (+ points).
Breakfast was plated but filling and presented nicely. There are 4 or 5 choices of Filipino breakfast. Coffee was unlimited. Dining is located at the 5ht flr so you get a view of the city :)
Wifi was not stable tho but over-all, I would recommend this place for having a great location...walking distance from the market, Burnham park, ukay-ukay shops and other dining areas. For it's price, I'd still stay here for its security, ambiance and cleanliness than transient rooms.
Will definitely stay here again :)

clean, new & convenient with basic amenities. It has an excellent location in the city as it's right next to Burnham Park. However, there's a jeep terminal right in front of it & it's inconvenient that there's no elevator access in the basement. It was raining the night we arrived & it was annoying that we had to carry our baby up the parking ramp all the way to the front desk (with all those people staring; some were even smoking :/) Their spa is closed sometimes so you have to ask ahead about their schedule if you want to book a massage. Their food is ok even if there's an ongoing construction on the 5th floor. The waitresses look quite startled though when you order; I guess they're new hires.

Checked in to A Hotel Baguio for an impromptu family trip. They kept nagging us about the 50% deposit. Suggest that they accept credit card payments through online booking platforms.

Anyway, the parking is a little tricky to find, you have to squeeze into the row of jeepneys parked in front of the hotel. Basement parking is tight, be careful maneuvering. You also have to go back up the ramp to go into the building, which is odd, and unsafe. A lot of construction material in the parking.

The rooms are small, but very clean and very new. The corridor wall is glass, but painted. The rooms have airconditioning, which is tricky to find when late booking in peak season Baguio.

Upon arrival we were hungry and we tried their in house seafood karekare. It was ok. Breakfast service is at the top floor, a part of which is being renovated.

Okay overall, 6.5/10.
