Haffa house , it was my 1st experience in oman specially coming from dubai .. since October am staying at haffa where I should feel I become a like a family member for them .. Exceptional hospitality I recommend all the visitors to use them
The hotel was wonderful. It was even better than expected. The price was amazing.Walking distance to everything downtown. Beautiful rooms, great ambiance in the hotel dining room. We will come again! staff was friendly and helpful.
My trip was for business and the support was very meticulous. Since I drive to Oman. Ample parking is available at the property. The staff support is excellent. Right from the checkin to the room service and restaurant. All committed to satisfaction
I travelled from salalah to muscat and reached really late by 3AM exhausted. Asif at reception was sleeping and upon me asking him rates which were available on booking.com he said if you are getting cheap rates online, book yourself. He was unhappy upon me asking him to book directly at reception. I got upset and he even refused to give us booking. My friend dealt with him after. Next morning I spoke to front Office manager and he understood the situation. Reshma is professional at reception. She should to train her colleagues.
Rooms have a very good size, are quiet and very confortable, the breakfast is delicious and if you are thinking of going out, there are many places nearby. The lady in the reception was very helpful and welcoming.
It was a great experience at hotel. Food is really delicious. Stayed 17 days continuously. Room Service and Food: Really appreciate the team at Room service as they did a marvelous services to us. Food is really delicious and the choices are standard and many varieties of dishes served. The staff in Room service were really nice guys Housekeeping: felt bad on this division as they didn't clean the room, toilet too for 17 days. that is a drawback which I need to mention over here about this department. However, understand the Covid situations and regulations Laundry: I really not recommend to use the laundry service as they don't have a proper system for that. I have given them 5 Dresses to Laundry, unfortunately all are missed and I didn't get back the same as they don't have the same, and they don't know where it has gone. So, don't use the laundry service for your valuable clothes Reception: Outstanding services by reception team especially Mr Idris I felt something about one guy named as Jaisal/jasil who has to be behaved little more politely with guests. I felt that he is acting as all the guests hs to be obeyed his directions which is delivering to guest in a rude manner. Hotel location, Access to city/resources are perfect. Overall, I recommend this property to stay at Muscat…
Stayed with my grown up daughter for a chilled, sunbathing week & could not fault it! We basically had the rooftop pool to ourselves & our daily trip to the women's only gym was exclusive to us :) Extensive range of equipment in both gyms & friendly gym manager. The buffet breakfast was extensive & included hot dishes, salads, fruit, breads, cakes, porridge, yogurts, juices & hot drinks. The evening meals were also good & well priced - £9 for a set 4 course meal & 2 drinks! Vegetarians catered for! The hotel is beside the constantly busy freeway but you cannot hear it in the room & you get used to it up on the roof by the pool! Location is perfect for the local buses - all go through the bus station just round the corner. Don't be put off by people saying tourists don't use the local buses - I used them, they're great, cheap (60p), frequent & needed as Muscat is very spread out (the Grand Mosque is 30 minutes away by bus). We also walked down to Mutrah for the souk & corniche - an hours walk each way but the bus goes there. There is also a Spar shop very close by - good for your 30p cornettos! And the hotel give you free bottles of water every day. Great Indian vegetarian restaurant opposite the hotel too - £5.50 for a big curry. If you want a week chilling in 30 degree sunshine in February, I highly recommend staying here!…
Our first hotel in Oman and first impression was not so spectacular. But all in all, like other hotels we visited later. The room was big, bathroom in omani style, personal kind, breakfast like in other hotels. Position is very good, if you don't have navigation and in the end, it's not high class hotel, but worth the money for sure.
I stay in hotel just one day, very nice hotel location also in city any ware to want go, Helpful staff, neat and clean around the hotel, I bean the break fast area not at welcoming 😒 You’re looking only money value then ok 👍
Haffa House Hotel is well located next to the freeway-Ruwi street, ample parking available and close to old Muscat city where 90% of the tourist attractions are located. Also placed on the BigBus route. It is very reasonable and value for money with all the comfort and amenities like a 5star hotel. Absolutely safe to stay with family. Good size swimming pool and fully equipped Gym. The rooms are big and clean, the staff is very friendly and helpful (cheers to Nadim, Reshma and Honey at the reception). The breakfast spread is good with a variety of cold and hot items and change in menu everyday. The lunch and dinner menu are also reasonable plus there are restaurants nearby. The hotel is a little old style but has all the comfort that you need for a good stay and night sleep. If i visit Muscat again, i will definitely return to this hotel.…
