We stayed here for one night during our visit to Jabal Akhdar. There were very few people apart from us that night. The rooms were basic but comfortable. The other family with us were vegetarians. The restaurant did not have many veg options for dinner and so the reception staff advised us to go to their other hotel in Jabal Akhdar (about 7-8 mins drive away) called Sama Hotel. This hotel was far better than our hotel and had a buffet layout for dinner. The breakfast was fine. If you are looking for just a place to sleep at night...this place serves the purpose. If you have vegetarians in your group....try some other place.

I went during the Tour of Oman. The hotel is quiet and the staff expect strange people showing up there with their bikes or hiking gear. So they have enough place to keep all that equipment. I you need more protein in you breakfast; you must ask :-)

If you are cautious for budget but want to enjoy best then do visit jabal akhdar hotel..clean and good dinning..we really enjoyed Roghan gosht dish. I highly recommend this hotel for family visit and most importantly breakfast was delicious.

Lovely staff at the reception, rooms are quite spacious. Very dated furniture and bathroom, but that what you will get in Oman for that value of money. Great for 1 or 2 nights just for a sleep if you like to expose beautiful areas of Jebel Akhdar. Poor was very poor, we did not eat there. Very close to Anantara resort which have beautiful delicious food.
