Wouldn’t recommend this hotel, arrived after booking on Agoda and paid for the room. Only to be met with the hotel closed. Spoke to a guy cleaning the pool and he called someone and another man showed up on a bike. Really rude, just said we are closed, email Agoda for you money back. No apology or any offer of help after having just paid for a taxi there. Amazingly the room is still Available to book online!Another room Said it had been booked 14 hours ago but the guy was totally oblivious. So rude and unhelpful. So based on that I’m glad I didn’t stay there in the end.

We are a British family living and working in Kuala Lumpur. We have travelled to Langkawi on numerous occasions and stayed at various hotels etc. Destini Akef Villa 2 was very poorly maintained inside and out. In our opinion it needs a total refurbishment. Pool was clean and Villa was nearby the beach and shops, restaurants etc. Bed sheets dirty and mattress rock hard. Extra towels were provided but no toilet roll , just a small box of tissues. I won't go on! As we always write reviews on Agoda, our review for this villa was not accepted so therefore writing it on TRIPADVISOR. Wouldn't stay here again!

Prons - Car parks available especially you are renting car. - Swimming pool is available but it is salty water - Nearby Cenang & airport is like 15 mins away. - Quite affordable price for a short gate away Cons - Inside the room is dim especially night time - Lot of dead bugs hung on curtain and behind or along the doors rails - Prepare your own toiletries

i came here in my vacation, just randomly searched this place on booking.com, affordable price, the room is not too beautiful but should be on the top of Langkawi Island, surrounding my the farm, so peaceful, especially for ppl who love relaxing in somewhere not too lousy. totally recommend!

I stayed here in August on my trip to Langkawi. The hotel is VERY, VERY basic. It is in a good location, as its 10 mins walk from pantai cenang high street and beach - but if i was to go again to Langkawi, i would suggest getting a hotel on the high road, next to the beach. Positives -Pleasant staff -Car parking (for when you rent a car) -Okay location, next to shops and laundry shops -Close to the night market (which occurs i believe on a thursday) - google it Negatives -no soap -lack of constant toilet paper -i had to ask (believe it or not) -the bed sheets were cleaned daily, however, as they are white, some had old stains such as old blood etc. Which is a bit gross - lets be honest -The bathroom is a wet room, which can be a bit annoying -As it was in August i visited, there was ALOT of rain. We stayed on the first floor, and when it rained, you can here EVERY SINGLE rain drop, as the roof is made of some sort of tin. So it woke us up at night which was a bit annoying, as thats when most of the rain occurs. Maybe ask for a bottom floor room if you are certain you are going to book this hotel. Overall, i would give this hotel a 6/10 - I wouldnt stay again, but it done the job and was very good value for money. It was a simple, small, pleasant hotel, but felt more like a motel.

This hotel is not luxurious but it is completes with basic amenity. The location is not too far from Pantai Chenang but you have to at least ride a bike to go to Pantai Chenang. Simple breakfast is provided but the taste in not so good. There is a swimming pool for kids and adults. Overall, with price that cheap, it is a great hotel.

Terrible experience. The room was dirty. Cockroach crawling on the bed while sleeping. Housekeeping knocked on my door at 11.50am trying to chased us out when the check out time is at 12noon. Please ensure you bring your own mosquitto repellant. I could not sleep at night because of the mosquitto.

The breakfast is just so so only but it is worth. After that, the room is dirty especially for the blanket having blood and lipstick marks and having spider web. The water pressure abit small. The bed abit harder. Other than that is okay. For the customer service is friendly.
