I enjoyed visiting Kumamoto (even though the castle is under construction). This hotel is in a great location and the rooms and hotel atmosphere are really lovely. I will definitely want to stay there again on my next visit.

I stayed at this Nikko this month (July). Staff gave me an instruction for emergency lift use. Although he gave me an explanation for the damage in the corner of my room, I wouldn't have realised it without his words. Dining nearby, Kamidori or Shimodori, is fine. Tram line runs as usual. Its stop is just in front of this hotel.
