With outside and indoor onsen, you can't go wrong here. It is fairly affordable and for the Japanese style Ryokan feeling of the rooms, you feel very homely. The lobby is absolutely breathtaking too. Great staff, and great food in the dining room. If you can eat the buffet, do

The private bath (onsen) in the room, is the water from the hot spring or just normal tap water ?
The water is very hot so I think it should be hot spring water. However there is a tap available at the Onsen bath too, so we could add some cold water inside to make it suitable for us to go in.
