From the street, it did not look too inviting but entering through the gates, a new little world opened to us. We enjoyed the spacious courtyard and treed garden and swam into the evening. Comfortable rooms. Woke up with a start when some mangoes fell onto the roofs but otherwise definitely recommendable as an affordable quality family stop over.

For $35 for a private room and bathroom, you can't expect too much. The place is well located, the pool area is nice. The rooms are basic, but beds are fine. Bathroom was a bit run down and hot water took almost 10minutes of running water to start. The main issue was the service. They also book activities and when...

This place is a must if you're traveling in Livingstone. I've stayed here one other time and it was a no brainer when choosing a place this time around. From the outside you think, "okay, it looks like a business in a strip mall". But step through the gates and and it's like a secret garden oasis! Plus, you're close...

Fawlty Towers is very clean, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. We stayed in the dorms with our 4 children ages 7-14, and found it to be just fine for our family. It was very hot and humid, but Fawlty Towers had 2 fans in our room for us.

My girlfriend and I stayed at Fawlty Towers for 7 nights in late Dec 2016. At check-in, the receptionist could have been more pleasant and helpful - it seemed like we were bothering him. Room: we booked a twin en-suite without AC. The weather was hot and humid and the small fan tried to do something but not much. We...

Patrick H, thank you very much for such a thorough review. Thank you very much for recommending Fawlty Towers as an affordable no frills lodge in a good location. You are quite right, we offer affordable, safe and simple accommodation with few frills, close to the grocery stores, ATMs and all Livingstone's most popular restaurants. Although we offer few frills,...

Lovely clean and comfortable room with our own bathroom. Communal kitchen works well and makes for convenient traveling. We were with a group of fellow paddlers and found the accommodation well positioned for exploring both Livingstone and the river. Supermarket across the road is convenient for supplies as well

We really enjoyed our times at Fawlty. It is centrally located within Livingston close to several restaurants, shops and banks. The staff are very friendly and very helpful. The staff was able to help with recommending good adventures and booking. The companies they book with were very good. The suites were nice. Nothing really fancy but very clean. It was...

We weren't staying here, but they were incredibly helpful in explaining different options for trips and what to do and see. We booked through them, at a day's notice and their organisation was perfect - great driver, on time, simple to pay in cash or card, and absolutely amazing experiences.
