This place was a great deal for our caravan trip. The location of the camping place was very convenient: it was close to the restaurants, shops and the viewpoint, and it was easy to come and go. The place was also peaceful and quiet. The staff was incredibly friendly and hospitable.
Murat was an exceptional host and helped us in every way possible, no matter how out of the way it was for him. I can't rate Dilek camping enough. We were part of the mongol rally and he helped us arrange all excursions and with renovating the vehicle. He is a priceless asset in this region! I hope we can meet again some day, thanks again Murat
Turkish hospitality is legendary but these guys take it to the next level. My buddy and I got into town a little after midnight. As soon as we checked in Murat (manager) asked us if we were hungry... and YES WE WERE! So he proceeds to make us a full meal while we set up our campsite. Never had a better and more needed home cooked meal in my life. Anything you need these guys will do for you. They even installed two LED floodlights on our car roof!
This is the ideal place if you need somewhere to camp with little hassle right in the centre of town. The guy here charges simply per person and does not have a separate charge per car/tent/person which other campsites where doing. There is a toilet and shower block which are pretty basic but are all you need. There is a swimming pool although this was not in use on the night we stayed there (Being deep cleaned). There is a restaurant attached to the campsite which served us up a delicious Turkish dinner and I would recommend eating there at least once. The staff also talked us through all the different options of the activities and they act as booking agent so save you from having to do it yourself. Wifi is available across the site. We stayed when we were passing through on the Mongol Rally 2016.…
We were a little bit afraid to get there after reading the reviews, but finally it was not bad at all. The camp site is very well located, and the staff is nice. The only problem was the fact that there was no hot water, and the shower was not the cleanest one I ever saw in our lives. But for 30tl per night for 2, we wouldn't complain. The swimming pool is also too dirty to use it, but in Cappadoce, there are many other things to do.
