Odelia Resort Hotel offers a mixed experience, with some guests enjoying the modern rooms and views, while others are let down by room cleanliness, noise, and maintenance woes. The hotel's atmosphere is compromised by refurbishments and dated facilities, though it caters to families.
Service quality varies, with reports of both helpful staff and unmet expectations. While cleanliness is generally appreciated, the amenities often disappoint due to lackluster dining and limited children's features, leading to dissatisfaction with the hotel's overall value.

Detailed Reviews
Hotel looks nice upon first glance however it is the finer details that would make me question the accuracy of the star rating. I'm coeliac and the first thing I found was that allergens were not stated for each dish which would be okay if the staff could answer allergy questions which they couldn't. My boyfriend asked a waitress and was told the pasta, breaded chicken & bread was gluten free... it did get a bit better when the hotel rep came to see me who could translate between languages to help me a bit more. The options were still very limited although she herself was very helpful and even came to check on me later in the week to make sure all was okay. The food options didn't change that much so I tended to stick to grilled chicken/fish & salad. The salad bar is great but I don't come on holiday to eat salad. The room is okay. Some of the fittings are loose and do actually come away from the wall. I would question the level of cleaning done I think it's just bin bag change, new towels, beds made and toilet roll. We have had what looks like sand/grit in our shower since dqy 1. The pool area is good, the slides are good for kids although they do turn them off regularly throughout the day & I've no idea why. It's very annoying. The steps up to them have definitely seen better days & some are broken / pulled apart leaving quite large gaps in them. The water also got turned off in the whole hotel around 6/7pm when everyone was getting ready for the evening, very annoying. The snack bar serves food throughout the day burgers, chicken nuggets, fries, onion rings. Again I couldn't eat anything as everything is thrown into the one fryer so not even chips are suitable for coeliac. The pizza seems to be for locals only, if you ask for a slice it's like it comes out of their wages. The port/town is around a 15/20 minute walk which is all down hill so prepare yourself if you walk back it is STEEP. Which leads me onto the last point that I don't think it's 100% English friendly. Nothing really happened towards us but there was plenty of people around the pool that said various things had happened to them where locals had been favoured. Apparently one woman even got moved from around the pool to allow a local family to sit there... all in all I would say this hotel was OK for what we paid but I wouldn't say it's 4* or return.

Nice hotel, very clean outside area, food was good (buffet), staff are also very friendly and work round the clock.
Newly refurbished and a work in progress, with additional extras being added daily, for the better.
Beach bus takes you to a nice beach and the staff at the beach was very attentive and looks after everyone. Bus has some strange times though.
If you like a stroll or walking around the shops, you will need a taxi to town as it is a bit hilly, only 5 euro or 200 tl for the taxi, so not a problem.
There is a restaurant owner that comes in Micheal (mustafa) from Golden Guys, great place and offers free taxi to and back, food was great and Mustafa and his staff are brilliant, go !
Couple of small gripes no scales to weigh luggage and language for the reception staff was sometimes a bit of a barrier at times.
On the whole good holuday

We just got back from a 7night stay
Hotel was not too bad, couldn’t relate to the bad reviews regarding the staff as for us they were always so helpful and approachable.
Yes hotel bathroom was a little dated but nothing we couldn’t cope with. Our rooms were cleaned on a daily basis.
All though we were all inclusive we ate out most evenings.
I would suggest getting the no 6 or 7 bus into town which is roughly 10mins away. Here you’ll find some restaurants, overly priced shops and of course the marina , I would definitely suggest grabbing a drink here as the views are amazing at night.
Would I come back again? No, not because of the hotel but more because of the area itself.
Wanted a relaxing break with my partner and that’s exactly what we got ❤️

For a hotel with 5 floors up and a total of 157 rooms, it has a pathetic lift system.
Two tiny lifts with a maximum weight limit of 240kg.
Two people get in with a suitcase each, and the lift alarms start beeping, get out get out!
Our room 1314, was OK, but the layout was all wrong, they had a big suitcase stand at the entrance end and the restricted space between the bathroom wall and the sharp corner, just made going to the bathroom very awkward and dangerous to the legs.
The bathroom had scummy water coming through the ceiling, dripping all over the toilet and the floor.
They have very big restaurant, outdoor dining and bar areas.
They have playgrounds and big pool areas as well.
With 157 rooms, they could have 500 mixed guest, adults and children, here at anytime around the ground level.
Yet for all those paying customers, they have one male and one female toilet facility on the ground floor!
The men’s toilet was absolutely disgusting, pipes leaking water everywhere and running through the floors, very dangerous to walk on, and the problem goes further, you can’t sit down on the toilet comfort, your pants are getting wet from the floor, the other reason, the toilet seat is broken.
Our tours start on the bus at 08:00 each morning, so we are told breakfast starts at 07:00. That would be fine if the hotel staff were there to start it, they have later out the basic cold cuts and pre prepared food basics in the heated trays.
But there is no water, no juices, no egg chef.
At about 07:50, these staff turn up for work and start cooking eggs. Still no water or juice, it seems to be all to hard for the staff to handle when someone complains.
This is contrary to the dinner serving, plenty of staff are there then, because they want your money for drink orders not covered in their Buffett.
The 2 days I spent there, no one address the issues I raised.
There were large families there as well, dozens of little children at play, but as expected for a place that won’t spend money on basic maintenance, the beautiful big water slides they advertise, closed for repairs!
Save your money and book elsewhere, I will be putting a full report on these experiences to my travel company TripADeal.
I will be suggesting that they avoid booking tour groups in here

Hello! I have visited Turkey 14 times and I have always returned to this country because of the nature of the Aegean coast, the hospitable and kind people, the very tasty food and the good and quality service. But this year my impressions are negative, especially from the Hotel Casa del Sole. I was in Kusadasi from September 6 to September 11. I was attracted by the fact that the hotel was recently renovated, but it turned out that only a minor renovation was done.
In my opinion, this hotel, despite its four-star category, does not deserve more than 2 plus. Very poor hygiene, bad smell especially in the bathroom and toilets as there is no ventilation. Bathroom accessories are rusted or broken. The air conditioner in the room is old and hardly has a cleaned filter. The staff are rude with few exceptions and do not understand or speak English. The food is uniform. The presence of cats in the feeding area is very critical and worrying. The animals climb on the tables and eat from the plates of the guests in front of the waiters, who are careless and do their job out of duty. The tables remain uncleaned for a long time while the waiters talk or play with the cats!
There is no supervisor to supervise the work of waiters and maids.
For our entire stay, our room was not cleaned once. I had to look for toilet paper and also to take the trash out of my room mysel and to my surprise I saw our two maids sitting in one of the guest rooms calmly looking at their cell phones. Outrageous! Good thing was that there was a supermarket nearby where we bought some bathroom accessories. The bathroom lacks, for example, a place to put your toothbrushes!
The worst thing in my opinion was the animation. The pool side music was very loud, rhythmic and started at 10am and went on until 11-12pm non-stop! One night I complained to the reception and they told me that some people like that?! To avoid this terrible noise, we walked into town every day and ate there, even though we had paid a high price for all inclusive.
I am writing my opinion because I hope other people will not be deceived by the pictures of the renovated hotel. This is a hotel with very poor management, very low hygiene and inhospitable hosts! Don't be fooled! Avoid!!!

My family and I came to the hotel for 2 weeks after not travelling over lockdown and we all were happily suprised with the quality of the hotel. The activities during the day and evening were very fun, the pool games were very funny to watch and take part in and the evening music and karaoke was particularly enjoyable. The food was also very tasty, introducing us, an English family, into the Turkish culture of food and music.

After many years of spending our holidays in Turkey, this year it was the worst , the nightmare of any tourist! I'm talking about this old, dirty, stinking hotel, called Royal Palace! Apart from the reception staff, you could not get along with anyone, and as I do not speak Turkish, communication was almost impossible. The mess was at her house, both in the elevator, hallways, restaurant, but also in the rooms worn and not renovated for decades! What to talk about food, the same dishes every day, and quite a bit! In one evening out of seven they thought of making a barbecue, but those who wanted to had to wait at least 15 minutes for some chicken wings and legs! The chicken was the only one I ate for a week, and a couple of times they cooked some fish in the oven .......... otherwise, peace and quiet! The entertainment was only in Turkish, so in the evening we had to go out to get some fun. I chose this hotel for one reason only, it is located close (about 700 m) to the city center, otherwise a total disappointment! In my opinion, this hotel, which wants to be 4 stars, would be a maximum of 2, or even a star, should be closed and renovated from the ground up! So, folks, AVOID IT!

Although the hotel looks nice in appearance, it is very poor in terms of service. Even though we had a planned holiday on 14-18 August, we waited for them to change the bed until 00:00 on the first night. Because there was a terrible smell from the moment we entered the room. Even though we told them 5 times, they did not care. The smell was coming because the beds were wet and dirty. Also, there was no separate baby bed for my 1.5 year old child. Instead of resting in our room from 10 to 00:00, we waited for them to find and change a bed. In addition, although we had to explain the situation and leave on the 3rd day of the holiday due to health reasons, the payment for the rights we did not use was still not refunded. We chose it because there was a mini club, but the mini club never opens, they say there are devices inside and they are damaged, so they do not open it. Especially if families with children prefer it, they should definitely not do it. There is also the issue of going to the beach. There are shuttle services twice a day. The sea was dirty and wavy. It's a hotel I will never go to again, you are being wasted with your money, especially if you have children.

We have just returned from a family stay at this hotel and will provide and honest review to try and prevent others from experiencing what we and 3 other families we befriended went through. Firstly actually getting to the room was an issue. There are 2 tiny lifts that take 3 people max, a real issue if like us your room is on one of the top floors.
The room was spacious enough and well equipped, though as we discovered from a lady who worked as a travel agent, not the Superior room we had booked and paid for. The shower leaked from the top of the head, which sprayed into the ceiling and ran down onto the floor of the tiny bathroom. Spacious balcony with a lovely sea view was a positive.
Onto the food. Without a doubt the worst I have experienced. It very much caters for Turkish guests, very limited options for international guests and even less for children. There are only so many ways you can serve chicken or turkey stewed with vegetables, call it a kebab, saute, whatever. The same thing every meal accompanied by 20 different ways to serve a salad.
I liked the pool, though it has one depth so not child friendly if not a confident swimmer. Slides are good though for 3 days there were either no lifeguards on duty or the one who was there spent all day at the bar with his mate. One set of steps was broken so left 1 set for the whole pool. And now for the most disgusting aspect to the pool. For 3 consecutive days, the pool was evacuated and closed due to children who were not potty trained being allowed in the pool with no swim nappy with the inevitable discharge of human sewage. In addition the area around the pool is dangerously slippery with a number of guests suffering falls.
There is no kids club as advertised, just a daily game of water polo where invitations to join appear limited to guests who are Turkish. There is a snack bar by the pool which serves burgers. Chicken nuggets, chips and onion rings. Unfortunately the burgers, nuggets and rings are cooked by 11am and sit for the rest of the day in steel trays. Hardly the most appetising and would fall foul of any food hygiene requirements. Ice creams are served, however this is limited to one small freezer by the snack bar and limited to 2.5 hours per day. And to top it off, the bar staff will quite happily ignore you and serve Turkish customers before other nationalities.
We ate out on the 3 of the evenings just to get away from the monotony and general poor standard of food served.
A really poor experience all round with very few positive aspects, this is the worst hotel, service, food and staff we have experienced. Would never go back and advise others to think very carefully before booking here.

Wow what a fantastic week we've had at Odelia Resort Hotel.
My folks and I have had a delightful time here and will definitely return to Turkey and the hotel.
The rooms are spacious, cleaned daily and adequate for the stay. Larger water bottles daily and towels provided.
The resturant caters at mass and offers hot dishes and fresh salads and breads. The food was lovely everyday and we've been pleased. We've found something to eat for breakfast, lunch and tea including many coffees and cakes in between. Shout out to the team at the pool and our waiter Gokhan. He was lovely in his manner and looked after us daily. He helped my elderly parents carry their teas and plates if struggling...superstar.
The facilities available include a swimming pool with 2 fun slides, a tennis/basket ball court, table tennis and a generous amount of outside space.
The animation team were fab doing daily polo, yoga and dart sessions where my dad actually was the darts champion (haa on 1 day). Shout out to Solya and the team!
Hotel in general was perfect for my father who isn't great at walking distances or steps. Everything is fairly close together with ramps etc and I was comfortable to let him roam around without worry as the staff were so helpful and always on hand.
Sunbeds were not an issue. We had sun all day everyday and a sunbed.
Feedback from our group is that we'd like some steps in to the swimming pool as my parents are elderly and can't climb the ladders. Also the pool is rather deep for those who aren't confident swimmers.
Thank you for a lovely stay Odelia Resort Hotel.
