Our stay wasn't horrible but the rooms definitely need some updating! The room was clean. We had a jacuzzi suit and I'm not sure about anyone else but I'm not a fan of all the mirrors! The bed was comfortable but the pillows were not! The price wasn't too bad but that's probably because we stayed off season!
We recently stayed here. Never so disappointed in a stay. Rated #2 for best value. I guess that doesn’t say anything about the cleanliness of the room. Shower head leaked and we went to the front desk and told them about the shower head and how filthy the room was especially the bath tub. The front desk seemed uninterested in our observation but they did replace the shower head. There is a review on this room in recently about a leaking shower head but they must not read their reviews. As far as the bathtub and grimy floors were not addressed. I am sure they are playing the COVID-19 card. The high rating of this hotel doesn’t say much for the other hotels in the area.
While it looks like a great place they are using POOR excuses for not taking care of the pople that support them. Can you imagine staying some place for 6 days and they do no cleaning of your Room it is your job to dump your trash clean your toilet get new towels etc. and no discount. They should be trying to provide superior service in these unprecedented time. The restaurant staff was miserable and unaccommodating. One morning you get a large pot of coffee for $9.00 and the next it is a single cup pot for the same price. Room service was terrible. The toilets stank and the hot tub had grit all over the bottom. Not to mention no towels in the pool area. Came outside in the evening to enjoy the river and use the gas firepit. Opps no lighter or matches available.. to bad... sorry don't know what to say. In the beginning I was trying to make excuses because of covrid but really there is no excuse for a mismanaged resort. Good luck won't be coming back. Keep your expectations low.…
I just spent 2 night in a King Jacuzzi suite overlooking the marina. If you're looking for location, it's great. BUT...this beauty has seen much better days on the inside. The bed was comfortable, the pillows were not. The carpeting was worn, the dresser needs to be sanded and stained, wallpaper was separating, tiles loose, caulking missing, no coffee cups for the coffee maker and hardly any soap. As we left after the first night, I saw housekeeping and told her we would need fresh towels, she handed me two with washcloths, which I placed in the room, and wrongly assumed she would pick up the soiled ones. They never entered the room to clean it. Leaving today, we passed by the skylight and there was chipped ceiling on the floor. Sorry, but I won't be back.
Horrible cancellation policy makes it so I will never book here again, there are so many more reasonable options that you should need to book there either. Read the fine print if you book in advance and there is bad weather coming you are stuck for a minimum of $243 cancellation fee which is just desperate in my opinion. I stayed there twice this Summer (4nights) ate there, bought drinks there and spent over $2k for a family of 5 and they have the audacity to hit me for a cancellation fee for cancelling 4 days before my reservation date. Not a good business model in my opinion. They will never get my business again.
