Variety of Breakfast 3/5
Breakfast service 2.5/5
Ice Cream area -1/5 for hygiene

Bathroom:
1. if you shower 70% that whole bath room will get wet.
2. Hand wash area (Sink), Worst of the worst designed.
3. The drain is not good as well. (Hand wash area) Open only 1 minute, the bathroom can be flooded.

Bell boy
1. Just do the job, but no service mind. Put everything on the car park where it can be an oily from car’s gas area rather than move the trolley down.
2. When the car park, they prefer talking among themselves rather than greeting

Breakfast service
1. Just only do the job, no service mind. Asking about pineapple taste, the answer is just “please taste it”. I believe that chitchat to guest would be nice.
2. End at 10.00am for Family hotel is a bit early, and within 10 minutes everything gone. Even water gone within 3 minute. Should it be the last at least give guest to have water?

Front Desk
1. Very nice on both check-in/out process explain clearly + during stay give a very good support

Ice cream
1. Use the same spoon for tasting!!!! And it during the coronavirus spreading period.

This was my 3rd visit to the Novotel. One of the main reasons I come back is the quiet location, the hotel is situated in a little village between Hua Hin and Cha-am.It is approximately 2.5 hour drive from Bangkok. On first arrival the lobby is impressive and you are greeted with friendly staff and a welcome drink. Our room was very smart and clean and we had 'Welcome Home' wrote out in flowers on the bed, I really nice touch. The views are absolutely stunning. Beware the bed is rock hard.
The pool area is sensational, most of the time we had the whole pool to ourselves.
The Gravity Sky Bar is well worth a visit, especially in happy hour, the views at sunset have to be seen to be believed. One thing to bear in mind is that executive lounge drinks cannot be taken out of the lounge.
My only real complaint was the food in Champions bar, we made a complaint but they didn't seem interested or do anything to improve the situation. After that we ate in the Village Bar & Restaurant outside the hotel. Delicious food, strong drinks, reasonable price and run by a beautiful family, they also offer trips and airport transfers.

We had a short break from our busy life and we decided to go novotel hua hin and were happy we ended up with relaxing stay.

Rooms were clean with direct seaview and so fantastic service from housekeeping staff.

Breakfast was nice with few Indian dishes. We loved the pool very much as they had happy hours which made us more happy. We tried the champions restaurant in lobby and food was delicious but the  Cocktails are a bit pricey.

Mr. Bunty, the guest relation manager sorted out and explained few day trips and also gave information about the local city centre. With his knowledge of wealth really makes a easy way to see around.

All in all we had a great time and we will be back again.

We booked this long weekend break as our first holiday since lockdown. And what a disappointment it was. First off, the place is filthy. The common areas are really dusty, especially in the lift lobbies and the hotel has an overall feeling of grubbiness. The hotel itself is in a very poor state of repair. The Kid’s Club
is woeful and whilst the swimming pool itself is nice, the kids water slide just doesn’t have enough water flowing to make it work. There is no beach. Breakfast entails joining long queues to get anything from bread to coffee and is served in a soulless and dark room. Truly dreadful. The hotel passes itself off as 4 star. It clearly isn’t. A 2 star rating would be appropriate. There really is nothing good or nice about the hotel. It needs to be demolished and forgotten.

This is a fake pet friendly hotel, first of all we are looking for a pet friendly hotel for our puppy. We would say this is not our vacation but it's our pet vacation. We saw the review and hotel website describing a perfect pet friendly hotel in Huahin that provides many facilities for pets to enjoy their stay .

We booked for 2 nights with non- refundable but after our first night we could not accept their poor service and we needed to WALK OUT , even though we could not get a second night refund back. How this hotel calls themself a pet friendly hotel.

1. After we checked in, the front desk staff mentioned that a puppy is not allowed to walk in the lobby , restaurant area( we understand this point as a public area) and in other areas like open air areas or even gardens. They also mentioned that our puppy can walk just only in front of the hotel on the beach!!!!! ( So where is the space, garden or facility that Novotel website mentioned earlier) which means that my puppy needs to stay in the room only?
2. Second day we decided to go for breakfast by bringing our puppy with us as we would like to clean our room during breakfast and after that we planned to stay in the room for the whole day. At breakfast area , we offering to sit outside ( under the sun where is very hot) because we know that our puppy can not go in the restaurant but restaurant staff she refuse us and tell us that " if you not ready for cleaning service then they can tell hsk" but our point is not room clean. We just want to have a very quick breakfast and go back to our room. We need to beg them to allow us to sit outside and have a quick breakfast( is that right? customers need to beg for service). At the end they allow us to sit outside where the table is under the sun without a dome or cover. They are not even offering in room breakfast for something to cover.

We visited many pet friendly hotels where there is real pet friendly service. Like Kimpton Bangkok they have a terrace and pet menu in the restaurant. They allow pets to enjoy their garden area as well.

So, if you are looking for a pet friendly hotel , we would recommend somewhere else like Intercon or wherever but not this hotel. Otherwise you will waste money, time and experience.

Dear vipissja, I would like to take the opportunity to thank you for expressing your opinion about your recent stay and in particular about our pet program. In such situation, it is important to analyze the situation and listen both side. So it is important for the reader to also hear from us. First of all, any clients coming in with a pet (Dog or cat) are given a Pet agreement letter which need to be read and acknowledge with signature. I believed that it has been done in your case. In this agreement, it is stated among other points as below " Unattended pets are not allowed - I should not leave my pets unattended at all times. While inside or outside the room or in the perimeter of the resort, pet should always be on a leash or secured cage. Pets are not allowed in the Food and Beverage outlet and in the swimming pool" This letter is written in Thai and English to avoid any misunderstanding and I believed it is very clear and your statement saying otherwise doesn't reflect this. Been appointed in the hotel recently, I have always seen customers around the garden or on the beach with their dog. We, of course, allow some flexibility from time to time about the leash and we believed as well that our customers always appreciate the situation and take some liberty with their little friend in good spirit and safety manners. In regards to the breakfast, I do believed that our team could have done better by giving you an option outside the restaurant in a shadow area. It was very regrettable and rest assured that we have share your feedback with them. Please accept our sincere apology on this matter. But I am pleased to inform you that it has been implemented since last week. But this will be a pure flexibility from time to time as we also have to consider guest coming without pet and which might not enjoy their presence as much as some of us and wish to eat outside. I believed that you have talked with our Room Division Manager about this and she did her best to explain this to you as I just did. And we regret that you have decided to leave despite your first thought to stay. vipissja, while it seem that you have made your choice not to come back, we of course understand your preference to stay at the InterContinental Hotel as we are obviously do not competing in the same category. Sincerely, Nicolas Girard General Manager

Stayed here during the Christmas holidays 2019-2020 with my family.

The hotel offers many facilities, some are good and some are less good, mostly because it’s so overpriced that it turns you off.

The hotel staff is lovely and are really doing their best.

Rooms are dated but as I knew that it didn’t surprise me and that didn’t bother me.

The two things that bothered me are:

1. The hotel location, it’s far from Hua Hin and Cha-Am. It’s at least 20minutes in Taxi (~$10 one way) to get to Hua Hin and after few trips with taxis down there you get tired of them trying to increase the price or sell you a tour around the area. Haven’t seen so desperate taxi drivers ever and it didn’t fit our style to use Taxis all the time instead of being able just to walk into town. Having said that, there is a 7/11 outside the hotel which saved a lot along with few massage spas (half price compared to hotel) and restaurants which some are very good.

2. The elevators, there are 3 elevators in this hotel and they can’t handle the task. Part of the problem is that two of them are in sync but the third one is not. If you are staying high floor and not ready to take the stairs regularly then prepare to be very patient.

To me, it’s obvious that tourism is going down in Thailand, and no wonder. Things are much more expensive than they used to be. Can’t blame them, everyone under the age of 30 with a smartphone, new cars all around, especially brand new Toyota Fortuner all around. In my opinion, Thailand is losing it’s original authentic experience, becoming more “western” and well, can’t blame them, the world is always getting smaller and all the same.

We stayed in both Phuket and Hua Hin during this holiday. There’s no need to ask which wins, Hua Hin doesn’t have much to offer in my opinion. It’s lacking the beach and during our time here it was always windy and misty sky, which you don’t have in Phuket. The beach I saw down in Hua Hin is disgusting compared to Phuket beaches and don’t forget, the sun sits in the west so westcoast is always preferred.

I hope you don’t get me wrong, I would probably not have been so negative if I had known that it’s not located in Hua Hin.

And one more thing, if you want to save some money, then use something else than the hotel shuttle to get from BKK airport to this hotel, it’s much cheaper to find your own ride.

Thank you very much for your praise to our staff service, I will pass to them to keep up their good work. At the same time, I am so sad that we could not deliver a memorable moment for you because of the location and the elevator, I would like to inform you that we just have finished upgrade 1 elevator that is the reason why it's not connected. Soon we are going to upgrade the other 2 and they will be linked to each other accordingly. Please accept my sincere apologies for this inconvenience. The staff at the Novotel was super friendly and accommodating. The price was a bit steep for the location and for the state of the room. The hotel is a bit away from ChaAm and Hua Hun. You have to take the shuttle to go anywhere and it is an additional charge, per person, which I found surprising. It was cheaper to just get a taxi. The room was okay, but there was peeling wall paper and floor boards. Additionally, the rooms are not big enough to accommodate a family with teenagers. We had to upgrade the room we were given, even though it was supposed to accommodate four people, it was way too small. It may have worked better if our children were smaller. The room we upgraded to was a little better, it had a couch that folded up into a bunkbed. It was still a bit snug for my 16 year old. One thing that was very nice was the pool. Beautifully laid out. However, there is a fight every morning for umbrella chairs. People run out and lay their things on the chairs to save them, even though the hotel regulations say not to do this.

We stayed at Novotel Hua Hin for 2 nights and we found the stay extremely comfortable with superb hospitality right from check in to room service to various meals at all restaurants . They have an excellent buffet spread and their manager Mr. Bunty personally makes sure that all guests are attended promptly and everyday the breakfast is rotated well . He also helped us in deciding which activities to do during our stay and also places of sight seeing in Hua Hin. The hotel has an excellent play area for kids and toddlers and the parents can relax in the pool with a restaurant adjoining it . The rooms have a good view of the ocean and is recommended to take higher floors. Overall an excellent property to stay and relax as it’s location is far away from the hustle and bustle of the city .

We recently had a reunion for over 60 family members from different parts of the world. We chose Novotel as it catered for the varying age groups especially swimming pools and games rooms for the kids.

The staff at Novotel were fantastic from the start with the sales team being more than accomodating to our varying needs.

Highlight was the buffet dinner and entertainment the hotel organised for our group. The staff were highly organised and catered for our every need, even having a function room ready from a last minute request

Highly recommended Novotel especially the staff

We had a pleasant stay for three days two nights here with smiley and ambitious to provide servicing. The ocean view is undoubtedly nice although the room decoration is not so fancy but we are impressed with activities and services from the staff despite this challenging Covid period for cost conscious perspective. It is enjoyable and comfortable experience for staying at the first time. Some of Thai colonial luxury hotel cannot provide a quality of service that Novotel does. Keep putting services at the heart and guesses will re-visit surely.
