On weekday stay was very peaceful.
Everything was pretty good.
My kid enjoyed swimming a lot.
The pool is not that big but ok for small children.
Breakfast line, there were not many choices
because of weekday guests.
You can walk on the beach in the morning,
In the evening is high tide.

I do love this hotel, the truly urban escape. A beachfront hotel with a beachfront swimming pool. The services are all friendly with good attitudes, and delicious & good quality breakfast here is if not many customers from the buffet will be a la carte, for the room quality matches the prices. Gooood!

This was a beautiful resort; it was stylish, elegant and had wonderful staff. The rooms were large and had great views over the pool and onto the beach. The hotel was very quiet during the week, admittedly it was low season but it seems the hotel is only marketed locally in Thailand, as there were very few tourists. Don't get me wrong, it was great to have the pool practically to yourself but it was perhaps too quiet in the evenings. During the weekend it was full of locals and their families having fun and enjoying themselves. The restaurant by the beach was great; plenty of choice, tasty food of a high quality and the chef often came out to check if it was to your satisfaction. The staff were very attentive and friendly and I can't speak more highly about them. All in all a wonderful break, in a beautiful setting. Perfect for honeymooners and couples looking for a romantic getaway. If I ever find myself back in Hua Hin, then without hesitation, this is where I would stay. Thank you Haven resort for a perfect 10 days.

If you are looking for some days with completely peace and quiet this is it.
We have a 5 month old baby and enjoyed 3 nights here.
Food was GREAT and breakfast fantastic.
Very friendly , serviceminded staff !

Very nice pool area and clean rooms.

Note: the beach is a few steps down from the hotel so its more suitable for adults and children from 5 years old.

Location is about 15 mins from the main Hua Hin City. It is situated just by the beach, but much like backwater which is calm and not too clean! Room were really nicely decorated and SUPER CLEAN, rooms can be compared as any luxurious 5 star hotels, however the food was horrible, breakfast was okay but when we dined in for dinner the first night, we decoded to eat out rest of the stays. They provide a free pick up and drop shuttle to the city, so we had dinner in the city, which had better choices! Definitely, recommended!

We chose to stay at the Haven Resort, after a last minute decision to break our journey from Bangkok to Chumpon halfway in Hua Hin. We found the hotel on the internet and quickly selected it on the back of its good reviews.

The resort did not disappoint on any account. The layout was peaceful and beautiful, yet had that "straight out of a brochure" look and didn't seem very 'natural'. This isn't a criticism as many people would love this -It's just not my own personal preference.

The rooms were clean and spacious and it was great to have your own coffee machine instead of instant! As a coffee fan, this was really appreciated and a nice touch. We opted for a room with a sea view. This would have been well worth it if you had the weather, as a screen could be opened in front of the bathroom so you could bathe looking out to sea! (Rather romantic!) We also had a nice balcony that you could sit out on. This could have been improved if the balconies were more private -you could see in either adjacent balcony and the ones on the bungalows below. So good if you're nosy, not so, if you don't want to be nosed on!

In all honesty, after only staying here one night, we did not have the time to appreciate all the facilities that the hotel had to offer. The stretch of private beach that it had looked lovely -as did the pool. The spa appeared reasonably priced and judging by the rest of the hotel I imagine this would be of a similarly high standard.

My only criticism would be of the over-promotion of its shuttle-bus service. This ran only 3-4 times a day and owing to the distance to the town, was essential. The hotel did offer to order a taxi, but we found this to be at a premium price.

The staff were welcoming, helpful and friendly. It was a great help that we were allowed to have breakfast slightly earlier than it opened as we were leaving on an early morning coach to Chumpon.

In 'Thai Prices' this hotel was rather expensive and I'm not sure whether something of the same standard, or better could be found for the same amount of money, as there were many similar looking resorts in the area. Saying this, if you are unsure, I would recommend the Haven Resort from my own personal experience. Nonetheless next time I would look around and see what there is a little more, for no other reason than the price point of view.

The haven resort is amazing and I don’t have one complaint about it. Marilo was our service provider for drinks by the round pool. She’s always very polite and offers refills right when the last drink is finished. All around great service.
