Booked on Booking.com but when we got there the owner wasn't there and the placed was closed, the owner had forgotten about the booking. And once we called the contact number the person who answered was very rude and unprofessional we ended up having to book another place. However after a couple of days the owner tried to charge us saying it was a no show booking. We do not recommend this place to any guest.

We had heard about the property being nice and we were to visit for a night with a group of friends. Upon arrival we are told that we cannot stay at the villa as they cannot find the booking and PHIs have not cleared the pool for usage. We booked via Booking.com and the property was available for booking. If there were issues such as PHIs not clearing it (which is a real issue nowadays) the property should not be available for booking on ANY platform. We called to inquire from the owners as to what has happened and they promptly asked us to come to their property in the Galle town and speak to them and hung up. Our friends have patronized the property many times before but were really put off by the behavior of the owners and managers. They then tried to cheat and earn money by Marking the booking as a no show on the system so Booking.com has to pay back the money for bookings that payments have been made for. Fortunately all of us who visited are in the hospitality industry and we knew what they were trying to do but it’s disappointing to see that this is what they try to do.…

i booked via booking.com and property owner didnt pick the phone when we go there. no one was at the property and when we open the gate there was no one and it was bloody mess. no one clean the pool or area. after trying 10 times someone property offer a different hotel but they way he spoken to me is totally unprofessional. he shouted at me and said you do what you want. i was begin there few more times before. but this time really disappointed. if they cant provide they should at least tell before we come. also when i asked to cancel my booking.com booking he didnt do it and he tried to do no show and steal my money from booking.com. i complain to the booking.com team and then they have cancel the booking. be careful of this property and the villa frangipani in galle fort

We only stayed for one night and liked it a lot! The guesthouse is not being hosted by the owner it self, but by a very friendly paid host and his mom. The rooms are spacious and clean, big balcony with pool view possible. He will leave soon, so I don’t know if the place will be this good after they leave. The host made our stay very good! Thanks men!

The host of the place and his mom make sure you will have a comfortable stay here, they are really friendly and success of this place is because of them! We arrived a bit early, no problem as we could make use of the pool and our room was ready asap. Very spacious and clean room, a/c works perfectly. By tuktuk only 5 min drive to Galle fort
