What an absolute gem this hotel was! It had an incredible 24 hour drinks and snacks area which was a great place to help yourself to a cup of tea and some water and cold drinks, before heading off to bed. They provided an assortment of hot and cold drinks and snacks free of charge including pastries and fruit, so if you wanted a light breakfast in the morning, this would suffice, however they also had a reasonably priced breakfast buffet that looked very tasty. The rooms were clean, comfortable and it was in a convenient part of Old Jaffa, a close walk to all the tourist sites.

Hotel's Favorite
I stayed here from 22nd to 28th April 22. I found it beautifully clean, well-managed, quiet , with a nice spacious room and balcony, the facilities are excellent with a well-stocked coffee bar , a delightful terrace and delicious breakfast. The location is great, near both the flea market and the port and convenient for visiting the sights of both Jaffa and Tel Aviv. The staff (Ronald, Simon, Ofir and others) deserve a special mention - they were always friendly, knowledgeable, super-helpful and genuinely nice. I had a wonderful time there and am really looking forward to staying at the Margosa again .

The concierge in the hotel are so helpful and friendly. They give you lots of information. The hotel has snacks and tea available throughout the day. The room was simple and clean and the bathroom was excellent. The breakfast was fresh and tasty. We hired bikes and when there was not enough helmets the manager offered us his own helmet to use ☺️. The hotel is a good location and there are lots of bars and restaurants within walking distance.

Hotel Margosa is a small but beautiful boutique hotel in Yaffo area - Tel Aviv Israel. The staff are lovely - big shout out to Roman and Shachar. Parking is a bit tough but if no street parking, you can pay about 50 shekel for keeping the car in underground parking of the hotel. The rooms are beautiful and updated. We were even treated with a bottle of wine in celebration of our weding anniversary :) . We had a lovely view on the fourth floor (note, the elevator goes up to 3rd floor only). You can hear the Arabs calling out on loudspeakers for their evening service from the balcony. Decor is beautiful (occasionally a floor in a hallway that's a bit dated looking but clean and lovely) and 24 hour available coffee iced coffee and croissants is fantastic! The breakfast is not large but has truly everything we were looking for (a few salads, some nice baked goods, cooked vegetables, great coffee machine, omelet stand). Lovely quiet ambience. Fantastic!

My wife and I are blessed to travel the World in retirement, and we try to stay in places a week or more. We have not been to Tel Avic since 1997, so we wanted to spend a week here in the Spring this year to get to know the city a bit. It's a huge city, so trying to decide where to stay is a challenge, but we knew it had to be in Jaffa. We almost booked 5-star hotels at 800 dollars a night, but at the last minute I saw a review on Trip Advisor for an attractive looking Boutique Hotel (The Margosa) for around 250 US dollars a night (for the larger suite), so I booked it for 7 nights. I'm glad I did, because the Margosa hotel is a wonderful location and a really fantastic hotel. The room we had was way bigger that the rooms would be at the top-end (veryt expensive) hotels, and the breakfast was spectacular. The rooms are of course spotlessly clean, and we also had a very large balcony. We have spent 40 nights in hotels during this trip so far and the Margosa was our most pleasant experience so far. The breakfast really was truly incredible and was really like a full brunch with some incredible dishes. The Chef is a good one for sure. One interesting thing they offer is a permanently stocked leisure room area with coffee, tea, professional-level expresso machine, snacks, croissants, fresh fruit drinks and ice-cold mineral water all for free 24-7. That is really impressive and not many hotels do this. Israel is expensive, so I think we probably drank about a bazillion Shekels worth of fantastic coffee that week and I got fat eating all of those delicious free pastries. Anyway, we loved this place. I had a slight dispute with the front desk on the charges at check-out (because of some last-minute booking confusion) but it all worked out. This place is wonderful.

Hotel Margosa is well situated near the old port of Jaffa. The beach, street dining and flea markets are all in easy walking distance. The hotel is well maintained and the room was comfortable and well appointed. The Philippino room attendants and dining staff are excellent! They are extremely friendly and do an outstanding job. Jerson in the dining area is awesome! Regrettably, the male (local) front desk management and staff could certainly do with a course in customer satisfaction and guest relations…at times they were quite rude and very dismissive of hotel guests… very disappointing!

The hotel was pleasant, good rooms (on the small side), good coffee, te, snacks in the dining area. Good breakfast except for the young woman who cooks the eggs! She has long hair which she swishes about, she rude, she is not very competent and sge seems more interested in her phone than helping customers! The other staff were delightful and helpful. Change her though!
