Really enjoyed the wonderful hospitality and service at the Tasik Ria Resort, Manado and the diving was exceptional ! We had an ideal sea view bungalow with a beautiful view. The restaurant, pool and spa all rated highly for me and my wife but the best for us was the service at the Dive Centre, Tasik Ria Divers. They have a large boat that accommodated us comfortably and their dive guides are very helpful, friendly and knowledeable about the local marine live. Around the Bunken islands this is bountiful and really made the holiday with really good visibility and rare species including a sighting of the rare sun fish. Thanks to our host, Dan and all the staff at the resort and the dive centre for making our trip a memorable one and we would very much like to return. John and Joy

Tasik ria is a large complex, around a beautiful lotus flowered pond. It is direct at sea. Diving is done in manado park, with many very nice wall dives, 1hour boat ride. Afternoon diving is more muck style, at the house reef. Nice pier bar. Good guides and fun atmosphere on the boat. Well maintained room, seaview. Good food with many choices.

On the internet it looks really lovely but in real life everything is old or broken. Half of the lights in the garden doesn’t work anymore. Most of the sun beds are broken. The staffs English is not so good and they don’t know how to deal with food allergies. Also the resort is stuck between public beaches so there are a lot of parties there with really loud music!

This a fantastic place to feel and enjoy life ! Tranquility and beauty of the place , stunning dive-sites around and a very comfortable dive center, amazing food and incredibly friendly and positive people working there made our stay (16 July-3 August, 2019) a memorable experience! Checks in and out were smooth and friendly. The dive center is well-organized, spacious and tidy, the equipment is kept, used, cleaned properly… The dive instructors are professional, responsible and very friendly ! The resort location is great. The jungle around makes the place very special. We had no problems with animals or insects. There are some mosquitoes in the evening but simple insect repellent solves the problem easily. There are plenty of nice dive-sites around and the boats for daily dives are well-equipped and comfortable. The rooms are very nice and clean. The housekeeping is really good. The food is amazing! We even didn’t expect to have such a rich gastronomic experience! The food was diverse and delicious. We were happy to try local cuisine . It is worth trying ! ! ! There were some European dishes offered and they were very good too. The fruit was delicious and some local desserts were great! All the staff are incredible people. They work hard and enthusiastically. They are always friendly, polite and helpful. A very hearty and sincere “thank you” to everybody ! We took a group dive trip to Manado in early September and stayed Tasik Ria and dove with Tasik Ria Divers. In short, the trip was absolutely perfect. Dan was an incredible host, and the dive crew was the best I have ever been with in the many dive trips that I have taken. Whether you are going for the diving or just to relax on the beach - Tasik Ria is bar none one of the best resorts/dive operations out there. Would strongly recommend them to anyone wanting to spend time in Sulawesi and Manado!
