Conrad Bali garners praise for its inviting atmosphere and exceptional cleanliness, with guests often describing the property as immaculate. The spacious rooms are appreciated for their comfort, although there are occasional mentions of dated decor. Its desirable location near the airport, local attractions, and the beachfront adds to the allure.
The hotel's extensive amenities, including pools, a spa, and dining options, coupled with the professional and personalized service, contribute to an indulgent experience. While opinions on value vary, many guests feel the offerings are worth the expense.

Hotel's Favorite
From the moment I made my reservation to the moment I left I felt very welcome at the Conrad Bali (and I did at the Hilton Bali Resort and Hilton Garden Inn as well, but here it was very special). I booked the hotel for 2 nights to celebrate my birthday. I don't usually celebrate so this was out of the ordinary and the entire hotel staff made it very special from the decorations on my bed (flower petals, a huge cake as well as a peacock and an elephant made of towels) and a fruit basket and a chocolate birthday cake. As a Diamond member I received an upgrade to ocean/pool view room long before arrival. I had my birthday dinner at their restaurant on the beach Eight Degrees South and again the service was impeccable (and got another chocolate birthday cake on the house). I opted for the whole dining experience that included making flower baskets, a four course dinner, and laying on beds on the beach by a fire sky watching and listening to stories from a Hindu priest. The whole experience was exciting and relaxing. The hotels is so beautiful, the room smelled like fresh flowers and the swimming pools were spectacular. Overall, I think, the highlight of my stay was breakfast at their restaurant: Suku. Not only this was the most spectacular and largest breakfast buffer I've ever seen (featuring Western cuisine, as well as whole sections of dishes from China, Indonesia, India), beating even the buffets at Hilton Bali and Hilton Fiji but the staff was incredible in their attention to details. And of course I got more Chocolate cake. I think the staff was trying to fatten me. LOL. On my second day the lady at the podium greeted me asking me if I wanted sparkling water and watermelon juice (that's what I had the day before! How did she know?!) and the whole staff, including the restaurant manager Onassis made an already incredible stay even better. I really want to take the time to thank Viranti, Sujatini, Onassis and all the staff that I crossed (front desk, pool, Diamond lounge, housekeeping to name a few) for making this vacation one of my best vacations ever. I'm sorry it took me 2 months to write this review, but because of the experience here I booked Conrad Koh Samui for my stay in Thailand this month. I can't wait to go back, but next time I'll stay longer.

Great hotel for so many reasons.
Clean Spacious renovated rooms
Bathrooms were well designed and featured lux toiletries by Shanghai Tang
(Mandarin Tea scent is perfect for the tropical environment)
Fantastic Pools which suit everyone from kids to adults to families.
Gardens and landscaping are breathtaking with frangipani trees and wandering paths along the pools up to the boardwalk that faces the beach.
Beach great views but not a beach for lounging and playing in the surf, because there is actually a lot of boat, jet ski, paragliding etc, traffic in the area in front of the hotel as one would expect.
I loved walking along the beach at sunrise and the pool environment was of a high standard, with great service, fantastic food and water readily available at little stands around the grounds.
Restaurants were very good with the local foods well presented and even the hamburgers fantastic. Morning breakfast in the room was generous and since our room had a fantastic view it was a good choice.
A shuttle bus is available to the Bali Collection which is a variety of shops that cater to tourists in a very outdoor mall Bali style way. I found the prices very reasonable and grocery stores and pharmacies made this a great afternoon stop for a quick meal and a look at Indonesian products of a high standard but reasonable price.
I highly recommend the hotel provided transportation for airport drop off or pick up. Spacious for our party of 5 and all the luggage with a bit of lux for only 28 USD.

Stayed here 6 nights in a standard room.
Had booked a hotel pickup from our other hotel. We arrived at around 1 pm and the room was not ready, which some would expect when they knew at what time we were coming due to the arrange car pickup. Then again the hotel seemed quite full.
The receptionist took all our details and charged the deposit and said that the room would be ready in 20 minutes. He then noted our phone number to call us when it was ready. After an hour when they had not contacted us I went to the front desk, which was now staffed by another receptionist, who did not know we had checked in already and tried to take us through the whole process again, including handing us the welcome note and trying to charge us the deposit... Anyway, we got our room and on the positive note, we got the exact room that I had requested in advance (a standard garden room but in a specific location).
So off to a bumpy start with check-in.
Our room was spacious, clean and quiet. The wifi could have been a bit faster as we had issues some times with streaming. The complimentary water bottles provided were glass bottles, which is a nice detail, and something I would wish more hotels would have.
The gym was adequately equipped.
I was disappointed to find out that the the sauna and steam room were unavailable as the block containing the spa facilities was being renovated. Since no notice had been posted on the hotel website regarding the steam room and sauna not being available I brought the issue up with the GM who made sure appropriate service recovery was provided.
The breakfast at this hotel is great! We especially liked the large range provided including a good range of warm dishes with different proteins. They also had guava juice which I think should be a minimum requirement for any upper range hotel in a tropical climate.
Generally the staff we were very hospitable and service minded.
I loved the long beach front and the large space between the different building blocks. This made the hotel seem much more spacious and less full, though the ongoing renovation of a whole building block of course also helped with this. Compared to the Sofitel where we went for Sunday brunch, the Conrad seemed much nicer and lees crowded. The same goes for most of the hotels we passed when walking along the beach. For example the Westin, Melia and Laguna all seemed to have a quite compressed beach front with too many people.
I would recommend this hotel if you need somewhere to relax.

Dear Rasmus P, Thank you for sharing your experience with us. I'm pleased to know you were happy with a great many aspects of our offerings and services, from our spacious rooms and extensive breakfast choices to the facilities and amenities provided, though I do appreciate your feedback on our Internet speed. On top of that, I'm glad our team showed great hospitality throughout your stay too. On another note, while our standard check-in hour, especially during peak periods is at 3pm, we do try our very best to accommodate early check-ins as well. Please accept my sincere apologies if you did not experience our usual flawless arrival service. Indeed the room readiness at arrival could have been better prepared and should not have impacted your stay experience. I have discussed your feedback with the team and trust that corrective action has been taken to avoid similar issues happening again in the future. Having said that, I look forward to welcoming you back next time for a renewed, improved and much more seamless all-round experience. With Regards, Andreas Justkowiak General Manager

The Conrad Bali is a stunning hotel with excellent facilities and wonderful staff. The buffet breakfast is work class and the barista coffee is as good as we expect in Australia. The ice is genuinely safe to drink/eat here (tried and tested for proof and we evaded Bali Belly thank goodness!), which is a nice change to most places throughout Bali.
Excellent, large pools. Suitable for kiddies of all ages. Highly recommend bringing an inflatable ring or whatever from the Reject Shop before coming over as it'll be very handy - especially with kids. There are 2 sandy, gradual, 'beach' entries to the pool and a section in the middle that's much shallower than the rest of the meandering waterways hugging the hotel.
In order to attract more families, I think the Conrad should convert their island near the kids club into a bunch of slides. Doing that would keep EVERYONE happy for HOURS! In this day and age, I feel that's the only thing missing from this hotel. I know it's not their main customer focus, but it'd be so easy to do!
This hotel is very expensive though and the prices you pay for cocktails IRP 180,000 - 230,000 (apron AU$20-25) and lunch by the pool (e.g. Nasi Goreng, which is an outstanding one I might add, is IRP 200,000 which is about 4 times more expensive than getting it from a restaurant down the road) is unnecessarily pricey.
While our stay was excellent and the staff were absolutely fantastic, we had a little hiccup before arriving with our booking. We went through Booking.com and put in that it was a room for 2 adults and 2 children. Naturally, when a room pops up saying it would fit you, you'd assume there'd be, say 2 queen beds, or a king and a fold out couch or something. No. It was a deluxe ocean view room which was awesome, however there was only our [MASSIVE] bed in the room with 2 sofa/couch thingos. In the end, we contacted reception who provided us with additional bedding to make up the two couches and it was fine for our 6 and 8 year olds (they're short thankfully), however this would've been inadequate by any other 'family of 4' standards. They actually expected us all to share the one big bed (which was technically possible given it was so huge, but not something desirable or anything I would classify as a 5 star, holiday resort solution to our sleeping arrangements). They tried to hit us up for an additional bed at a cool $AU65 extra per night (for our 5 night stay), but granted I had put in my parameters correctly, this shouldn't have been necessary.
The bathroom was perfectly spacious and well laid out, but the seals I the shower were all mouldy underneath (room 2211). It was very clean, but for a 5 star hotel, I'd expect this would have been noticed and replaced by the time it got to this point. For the price point, these are the things customers do notice!
If Nusa Dua is your thing (personally I prefer Seminyak), then you'll really enjoy a genuinely luxuriously relaxing stay at Conrad Bali.

Dear popotigus, Thank you for sharing your honest feedback regarding your recent experience with us. I’m happy you found many aspects of your stay to your liking, including our facilities, amenities and extensive breakfast buffet, as well as the wonderfully warm hospitality shown by our team. Glad you found our pools enjoyable and a treat for the whole family! Your constructive suggestions on our kids attractions are also much appreciated. Having said that, I apologise for certain shortfalls in service standards with regard to our housekeeping. Rest assured we’ll escalate your concerns to our department heads for further improvement. Regarding the requests you had made for your room, we do acknowledge that you came as a family with two children and we deeply apologise for the inconvenience and disappointment your situation had caused. However, while we always try our best to accommodate guests’ requests, as stated on our Booking.com page, the room you reserved, which was the Deluxe Ocean Front Room, accommodates 2 persons and our child policy—also published on the page—allows children under 12 years to stay free of charge as long as they use existing beds. Thus, we had offered you extra beds for an additional charge or a change to a bigger room, which could accommodate two extra beds instead. I do hope we’ll have another opportunity in the future to welcome you back for a much better all-round experience. With regards, Andreas Justkowiak General Manager

From the moment we checked in to the check out the service provided by the staff was exemplorary. Upon arrival we were greeted at the check in with a welcoming drink and a cold towel. The Hotel and grounds and garden offer unaduterated luxuary. All the rooms are spacious and well equiped, with tea and coffee making facillites, the bathroom was provided with delux toiletries. We were upgraded to a suite which was beautifully prepared, with platter of fruit etc. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff which offer a stellar service. The variety of food on offer in the 5 onsite restuarnts is fantastic and certainly would please the most fastidious palate. The breakfast in the Suku restuarnt is a full multinational buffet with chefs in attendance to cater for every culenary requirment. There is a choice of several swimming pools as well as a beautiful beach. The hotel offers various themed nights in the different restuarants. The executive lounge offers a traditional afternoon tea, and a cocktail hours withe delicious canapes and bite produced by the chef in attendance.

Conrad Bali is a wonderful hotel for a luxurious and relaxing vacation. We stayed here after a short stint in Ubud and while the area surrounding the Conrad Bali is much more crowded, the resort itself is great for couples and families who want to stay on the property.
Room
We got upgraded to a suite because of my diamond status and the suites are simply amazing. The living and dining areas are open concept and of a good size. The bed was in my estimate two king sized beds put together; our littlest one loved rolling around in it! They also provided toiletries and a diaper for the little one, though I wouldn’t use Johnson & Johnson and would recommend the hotel use a safer brand. Otherwise the hotel was wonderful in providing a cake for my birthday which the family loved.
Overall property
A few areas were still undergoing renovation but we could barely tell. The suites section is at one side of the hotel and there is a suites only dining area though we couldn’t partake since we had kids with us. Otherwise the pools were plentiful and designed to meander in different sections of the main property. There’s a lovely view of the small beach from the main pool. Everything was well maintained.
Food
We enjoyed Suku for most meals - it’s the largest restaurant with the biggest selection. I enjoyed Balinese pork to a really well executed burger to soft shell crab. I also really appreciated the whole section of gluten free goods since one of my kids doesn’t eat wheat. It’s wonderful having this option and not many places do!
Kids club
Kids club had lovely and warm staff. They tried their best to get my kids to play along. I also liked their selection of activities including dress up in Balinese outfits. Unfortunately the toys and decor really could use an upgrade. I’d suggest wood toys which would last longer /not fade or tear as much. The relatively dated condition of the kids club was a surprise.
As a diamond member, we also had tea and happy hour. We all loved having drinks overlooking the pool at sunset. The drinks were lovely and the snacks were cute though we admittedly didn’t have much.
The excellent customer service was what really set this hotel apart for me. They were usually responsive on WhatsApp and all staff greeted us warmly upon seeing us. It really made us feel welcome. We would not hesitate to recommend this hotel for the pool, food, and excellent customer service.

Just come back from spending 4 nights at the Conrad Benoa and was very impressed. Having stayed in most of the resorts in Nusa Dua, I was a little anxious to stay a little further away as I didn't want to be to isolated but it proved not an issue at all.
We had a Deluxe King lagoon access room and I found it clean, comfortable and had all the little extra's you expect from a 5 star hotel.
Huge bed, lovely bathroom and amenities, which were replenished twice a day. Good coffee machine which they gave me extra pods daily. Loved my bathrobe as well because it was nice and light compared to the thick white robes that so many hotels have, which are to hot for this climate. I actually tried to purchase 2 but they were out of stock.
Plenty of chairs by the pools so that was never a issue and the pool attendants were very efficient and always bought over cold towels and fresh water which was a nice touch.
Breakfast was lovely, which was a surprise for me as usually I do not like Buffet but this was quality and basically everything was served fresh to your table after ordering eggs etc.
We hired bikes for a couple of days so it was quick to get around everywhere.
Would I stay again?, Most Definitely.

I love everything about this hotel and have been before and will return.
We are a family of 4, and our kids are currently 4 and 2.5. The hotel staff were so friendly to us all and made us feel like royalty from breakfast, to corridor 'helloes', to afternoon tea, around the pool, kids club and everywhere in between. We stayed for 10 nights and half way through the trip, the staff would come over at breakfast for example, and bring things that they knew our children liked from yesterday's buffet breakfast for example, that was on offer /on offer today (for example fresh mango, frozen blueberries). They really went above and beyond.
The breakfast buffet is amazing and (sadly! don't judge me!) one of the highlights of the stay. So much choice, it kept me happy and full until afternoon tea. And it kept me happy because the kids were always so excited about breakfast, wondering what they were going to eat today.
The pools were great, with very friendly shallow options for them as they built up their confidence to swim.
New Year's Eve fireworks were brilliant.
Resort restaurants provided value as kids meals were free and were great quality although we often went offsite for some alternatives.
The rooms were great as well - we stayed in a Conrad Suite and they provided one extra bed for free and we brought sheets from home to make a bed on the sofa for our other child. They loved being in the same room and would run in circles around the suite between the bedroom and the loungeroom very happily every day. There was so much space, and it was so well appointed, we were very happy.
Our 4 year old said a couple of days into the trip that when he is an adult he is going to move to Bali so he can be in the hotel all the time.

+1
My wife and I visited the Conrad Bali for 2 nights during the pandemic. We currently live in Bali and decided to take a staycation for the weekend. The service was superb from arrival until I walked out the door to go back home.
I am a HHonors Diamond member. Prior to arrival we were upgraded to an oceanfront suite, one of the most spacious and beautiful rooms I’ve experience at a Hilton property. Along with the upgrade we were entitled to complimentary breakfast, “tea time” (3pm-5pm) and cocktail hour (5pm-7pm). There isn’t an executive lounge but the tea time and and cocktail hour are hosted at the main restaurant, great drink and food options! The hotel also takes extensive measures to prevent the spread of Covid which is great.
This Conrad resort is huge! Everywhere you look you see a pool! This gives you a lot of options for privacy, a big plus! I highly recommend taking a trip to the spa, Ketut and Lili gave us an amazing treatment, they are incredibly talented and passionate about their jobs. The resort also has a state of the art gym and tennis club.
If you are interested in parasailing, jet ski’s etc. there are guys on the beach selling excursions. Due to the lack of tourism you can get great deals, we paid 200k idr for 3 minutes on a jet ski.
Now for the best part! The staff!!! The staff at this hotel is a big family and together they go above and beyond to ensure you have a great stay. To say the least, the service we received was heart warming. We were always greeted by our name and every request was granted without hesitation. A huge thank you to Kevin the GM, Agung the guest experience manager and ALL of the staff that we had interaction with, you are all part of a very special team!
The last day of our stay we did a Balinese cooking class by the beach, what an incredible experience! Thank you again to the whole team and we hope to see you all soon!

I spent two nights in Deluxe Room overlooking the swimming pool. The view was magnificent, the property has a direct access to the white sandy beach. The Water Sport center is located just a few steps away. The room is very spacious as well as it's balcony. I was told that the property has been 15 years old, however it seems that the maintenance and upkeep was done very well. hats up for this!
The swimming pool is very huge, the attendants are very courteous and friendly. You will be offered bottles of complimentary mineral water along with pool towels. A very kind gesture which i haven't seen in hotels anywhere else.
During this pandemic, it seems that the breakfast buffet got less choices compared to pra pandemic. The highlight was you could have indoor or outdoor breakfast by the pool.
The room was clean and amenities are luxurious. I had minor pest issue in the room, but it was solved professionally by Mbok Yuli. I didn't know her title, but she looks very knowledgeable and skillful, a good role model in the front line team. I saw a deep sense of ownership and empathy toward guest challenges.
I met Riska at the Front Desk, she is very helpful and will do the extra mile to exceed guest expectation. She assisted me with photobooking and very knowledgeable with relevant local information.
Don's miss the complimentary 30 minutes photo session which you should book in advance. I would recommend Teo, he is a master in photography. He is good in directing your poses.
