The hotel's embrace of Balinese culture creates a traditional and inviting atmosphere that's complemented by the warm, attentive service of the staff. Our family of 4 stayed in 2 adjoining deluxe rooms for 8 nights with buffet breakfast included. The hotel and our rooms are kept spotless by the polite and helpful staff. Our rooms overlooked the pools and had views of the beach, however they were still very quiet. The buffet breakfast caters to all and is constantly replenished by the attentive staff. There is a 4 hour window to have breakfast so allows early birds and those who prefer a sleep in to still have a good meal. The facilities and the beach are kept immaculate by the staff. The beach is beautiful and it and the grounds are constantly cleaned. The staff are amazingly friendly and very helpful. We were given a complimentary cultural dinner and show during our stay and the staff went and got insect repellant for us as we had forgotton to put it on. The Bali Collection is close by and there is a free shuttle bus service which comes to the hotel during the day. The gym was used by my teenage sons most days and they said it was clean and the staff were really helpful. The yoga instructers were very knowledgable and the view from the yoga bure could be a postcard. This is a beautiful hotel and we hope to return, sooner rather than later.

My husband and I had the pleasure to stay at the Nusa Dua Beach Hotel during February 2020. After reading earlier reviews we upgraded to the Palace Club and were not disappointed. The staff were absolutely amazing. Every need was catered for. Breakfast, afternoon tea, pre-dinner cocktails and canapes were all served in the Club and we loved every minute of it. Due to the Coronavirus the hotel was very quiet but we actually liked this. I had a 90 minute massage in the spa which was worth every penny. The grounds are beautifully maintained and we have a selection of stunning photographs.

I must admit we were led to believe by our travel agents that eating in Bali would be very inexpensive however all of the hotels in the Nusa Dua area were pricey especially drinks. Our budget therefore was quickly blown. Also we were a little disappointed with the quality of the food in the Tamarind Restaurant - an incredible property and location (on the beach) but the food did not live up to it's surroundings.

If we could cope with the long journey again we would certainly return to this hotel. The staff in particular made our stay a real treat. Thank you!

Nusa Dua Beach Spa and Resort was a delightful, relaxing and stunning facility. The 2 of us stayed in a Premier room facing the garden, it was comfortable, quiet, clean and serviced daily. Our daily breakfast in the resort had fabulous, tasty choices and the staff were efficient and graciously friendly, a reflection on the beautiful culture of the Balinese.
We booked a cooking class at Raja's Balinese Restaurant in the resort. The chef Tamba and his assistant went above and beyond to make this class enjoyable. We booked an evening meal there at Rajah's during our stay and the food, flavours and presentation were flawless.
The 2 of us managed to fit in 2 x 90 minute Balinese massages at the Spa. We not only enjoyed the massage but we enjoyed the ambience and appreciated the cleanliness.
We were recommended a hotel car and driver to transport us to another town for a day trip, this proved to be expensive and we found that eventhough we negotiated the cost with the front transport desk, we had to call the driver out on his charges. Needless to say, our other trips were with the blue taxis, all metered and very reliable.
We enjoyed the cultural dinner / dance show, a beautifully presented buffet feast and an entertaining show.
The Resort offers an hourly, free shuttle to Bali Collection, a recommended shopping / eating venue within the resort precinct.
The whole resort precinct in Nusa Dua is gated and security is prevelant but can be pricey. A lovely location for a resort style holiday.
We highly recommend the Nusa Dua Beach Spa and Resort.

Beautiful hotel and setting. However, the cost of eating and drinking is very overpriced and genuinely just playing on tourists. It is a lot cheaper to eat outside the hotel. The service was sometimes very scattered and on 3 occasions they got our orders wrong. Would expect better for what we were paying.
Also the cost of the laundry service is outrageous. For example it costs more than €1 to get 1 piece of underwear cost. It would have cost us roughly €70 to do a small wash which is ridiculous. We spoke with a manager with regards to this but felt our views were not listened. I feel they need to review there price list in this area.
We had organized for a late checkout with a staff member but still got a phone call on the day we were leaving wondering why we hadn’t left our room. This was another example of disorganization.
Overall a lovely hotel but some issues during our stay.

Me and my wife stayed at this hotel for our honeymoon and New Year. Before staying here, we had amazing experiences on Bali, and thought this might be another highlight.

However, it was a big disappointment.

The hotel is in an enclosed area where there is little to no competition. Therefore, trapped people get sluggish and accept what choices they are given by the hotel, even if it means really poor food and insane food prices. A "big" bottle of water (which is basically free if you just leave the enclosed hotel area) costs 6 dollars in the restaurants, and the food is honestly bad and costs about three times as much per meal.

The hotel is also really bad at allergies. They put dairy in the food when asked, several times, not to. And for my "pure vegetarian" dish, they poured fish sauce all over it. When confronted about this, they tried to make us feel as if we were in the wrong and that fish sauce is completely vegetarian.

Furthermore, the ocean water around the hotel is swamped with seaweed and algie, only a meter two of water is clear. This is also where you see a few of the guests go down, take their selfies, and then go to the pool. It was sad to see.

I would not recommend going to this part of Bali, and especially not this hotel. For this budget, you can get a hotel that is so much better.

we spent the first 5 nights here as part of an 8 day stay in Bali towards the end of 2019.I had visited Bali in2002 and stayed at Putri Bali and wanted to try the Nusa Dua Beach Hotel as we got a good deal on an Emirates Holidays package.
The resort is very huge with an impressive Balinese Gate entrance and split level lobby and beautifully maintained gardens and pools.Restaurants are aplenty but we had most of our meals at the Tamarind which is a tree house like grass structure with very pleasing day and dinner menus. We also booked for the theme Seafood BbQ dinner night with firedancing .This was lovely. Breakfast is served in the main restaurant close to the lobby and selection was very good .I was particularly pleased to find that it was halaal so all over dining was greatand had most of our dinners and beach poolside lunches at the hotel. The pools are lovely and huge and as it was extremely hot we preferred lounging on the sunbeds under the trees on the beach.the beach is more of a lagoon sheltered by a reef and water clear though not the best for swimming and snorkelling due only seeweed being present. still it was pleasant to have a shallow dip at high tide.

We selected a premium room for extra space and allocated to the lagoon wing near the spa and hotel entrance .It was quite a walk to the pool and beach but rooms were clean ,had a nice balcony overlooking the lagoon pool ,baths with shower and with separate tubs and pleasant smelling .I have read in other reviews that some of the deluxe rooms were dated and worn and dont have bathtubs . On checkin we requested to be upgraded to a room.closer to the pools but was told they were all occupied yet the hotel didnt seem full at all as it was not near peak .As part of our package we opted to have the 60 min free fullbody massage which in my opinion was more like a 30 minute massage and not full body. However it was pleasant though not anything near the massages I had in Bali before.
There are banking facilities and a small shopping arcade as well asPrayer facilities on the property.
There is a shuttle service between the resorts to the Bali Collection which is designed for tourists and has shops and restaurants .we only went out one evening and found it to be overpriced, and preferred the hotel restaurants .
We did 2 Bali day tours during our stay in Nusa Dua Resort and visited Nusa Penida Island as well as a separate tour to Tanah lot,Coffee plantation and Royal Temples. These were arranged with the tour company that received us.
Overall this is a good hotel and pleasant although there are so many other excellent resort options along the Nusa dua seafront.

This is a good family friendly hotel with generally friendly, helpful, staff. The place is however terribly let down by the very low quality food, high prices, and compete inflexibility by management. We booked over the New Years period and were informed by the extraordinarily rude manager 2 days before that the eye wateringly expensive NYrs dinner was ‘compulsory’ and no thought whatsoever had been given to children who might not want to stay up to 9 pm to eat. In the end given no option other than go pay again for room service, we attended the dinner to find a frankly appalling buffet served at a 3 million IDR price tag. You are sadly left with the distinct impression that every possible penny is being squeezed from guests with no cares whatsoever for customer satisfaction. When we asked to make a formal complaint the manager told us there was no process for doing so and essentially ignored us. After 20 years of travel all over the world it’s the single worst customer service I have ever experienced. We spent the rest of the week eating elsewhere - if you visit this hotel the strong recommendation is to do so on a room only basis and then eat at any of the other nearby hotels which are of a much higher standard and generally much cheaper.

Dear Suresh Hedge, Thank you for the feedback regarding your recent stay here. We truly appreciate your comments. I am very sorry that you feel this way regarding the New Year Eve dinner arrangements. The dinner is a compulsory event as it also covers the cost of the decoration, entertainment, party favors, pre-dinner cocktail, elaborate fireworks and other related costs to make this once a year event a special one. We do have many positive comments on the New Year Eve event, however, I certainly take your comments to heart. With best regards, Jamal Hussain General Manager

1. Deluxe Rooms too small.
2. Bathrooms are very very small.
3. Broken cot provided in the room and the staff never bothered to assist.
4. Washbasin tap faces the wrong side.
5. Staff (Sukhdana / Harini / Rima ) promised to make the client comfortable and change the room, but no one from the hotel took any action to rectify the wrongs.
6. The hotel certainly does not deserve a 4.5 star rating. Based on the above it barely deserves 2.5 star.

We have been to various parts of Bali on different trips but like Nusa Dua the most - clean beach, no jellyfish, clear sand and even brought our toddler to the sea for swims as the waters are calm.

Hotel staff are excellent and polite. They have one of the best spas and worth the money.

Great pool facilities as well - with hot tub, sauna, steam room and even tennis courts.

We have been regular visitors to Bali and primarily staying in the Nusa Dua area as we prefer its beachfront tranquility. The Nusa Dua Beach Hotel and SPA is one of our preferred hotels in the area and it would be our first choice if our preferred room is available. In March 2022, we stayed at the hotel for 7 days. We practically had the hotel for ourselves. Despite the hotel being nearly idle for two years (like all nearby hotels), the hotel lobby, pool and beach area were very presentable. The room we had was on the third floor, with a view of the beach and the pool, was in a very good condition. The restaurant, surrounded by the koi bond, was as beautiful as it ever was and served an excellent breakfast. Understandably, not all the hotel facilities were accessible on arrival, though it improved shortly. The enthusiasm by the staff made up for any of the shortcomings.

Our stay then required one day of quarantine which we could not imagine a better place to have it. In fact, the result of the PCR test taken at the airport came in about 3 hours and we were free to leave the room. For value of money and personalized treatment, we recommend the Nusa Dua Beach Hotel & SPA and to make any special requests directly to the hotel to the attention of Ms. Arini (front office Mgr). She will respond with great enthusiasm given the intense hotel competition as Bali rebounds.

Dear 68shiarz, thank you for taking the time to write a very thoughtful and in-depth review for our hotel. It is always appreciated when we receive feedback from our guests. I am very pleased to be able to read that your overall experience was an enjoyable one. March was still one of the months where were coming out of the restrictions and international guests started to return. Quite a few guest who chose us for a quarantine hotel were happy with their choice, as they had great views from their rooms amongst other things. I am also happy to see that you found the facilities, albeit limited then, still sufficient to allow you to enjoy your time with us (we have since then reopened a lot more of the hotels facilities). Furthermore, that the staff were able to make your stay pleasant. Believe me, a lot of the staff were absolutely thrilled to have guests return after such a long period. Thank you for making a special mention for Bu (Ms) Arini, our front Office Manager. I will certainly pass your kind comments onto her, as I am positive she will be happy to receive such great feedback. 68shiarz, once again thank you for your kind review and we all hope to be able to welcome you back in the near future. Best regards Neil

So much easier now to purchase your visa at the airport on arrival. Aisle for visitors requiring visas clearly indicated .Not necessary to purchase online which is a bit of a hassle.
