So, I came to Jodhpur for one day for an examination, glad that I came across this great place which extended my stay for two more days. This was the first time I ordered a guest house instead of a hotel and didn't regret. It was indeed felt like home. It is situated near Jodhpur Mehrangarh Fort, and the view from the Terrace is astonishing. This view is worth everything. We enjoyed our evening tea while enjoying the view with utmost silence and peace in the neighbourhood. The Rooms are spacious enough and kind of a blend between Royal heritage and Morden architecture. We got the best room which had a direct view of the Fort from the window. Bathrooms are small but new and clean. Overall Cleanliness was very well maintained. The owners were very helpful. They helped us know things about Jodhpur, made us feel comfortable like home as soon as we entered. Uncle and Aunty made such a delicious food for us (they have very special recipes of their own), and they ate with us like a family. We had a lot of talks with them during this time. Anshul Bhayya (the owner) is very supportive and arranged everything for us. He took proper care of us and nothing felt like missing. His wife also took great care of us, made us tea whenever we wanted, kept hygiene in check and talked to us very nicely. We could only able to visit the Fort, that too was a great experience. Anshul Bhayya told us about a route through the city and we reached the Fort very easily and swiftly. We will definitely going to visit the Jodhpur Palace Guest House again, this time with the whole family. When I shared pics of my stay here with my friends, they also decided to visit the place whenever they will come to Jodhpur. Here are some pics of the rooms, and view from the terrace.

I booked the Jodhpur Palace Guest House because of its amazing reviews and its convenient location close to the Fort in the Old City of Jodhpur. The guest house has been in operation for 4 months now. The rooms are very specious and will equipped. The bed is comfortable, there is AC and a ceiling fan, satellite TV, complimentary toiletries, a hairdryer and the furniture is tasteful and in keeping with the traditional style. The owner family lives downstairs and are extremely friendly and helpful. The mother performed a welcome ceremony and put a flower garland around our neck. Mr. Anshul showed us the room, explained everything and then showed us all the best spots to visit from his amazing rooftop. As it's one of the highest buildings in the area, the views are unobstructed and amazing. There are plans to open a rooftop restaurant at a later stage. Although there is no restaurant at the guest house yet, we were frequently offered tea and could also order breakfast. Anshul helped us with travel arrangements, organising a rickshaw for sightseeing for the day, a taxi to Jaipur, did our laundry and even gave us a massage. It's a lovely family we enjoyed having daily chats with. It enriched our stay to have this contact with a local family to learn more about Jodhpur. To be aware: This is a guest house at top level but not a hotel. It's very clean and comfy. But don't expect full Hotel facilities. More like a family home stay. There are 8 guest rooms overall on the 1st and 2nd floors while the family lives on the ground floor. The location is great but it also means your right in a midst of old town Jodhpur. The lanes are too narrow for cars to come to the guest house. Our taxi dropped us outside of the old city and Anshul sent a rickshaw to pick us up from the taxi to bring us to the guest house. It's wonderful to just walk around and even walk to the main sites but it's also narrow and right in the hustle and bustle of India. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and would definitely come back here again. Fully recommended.

My girlfriend and I stayed at Jodhpur Palace Guest House for three nights. The location of the property is very convenient, close to the blue city and close to the fort. The facilities are brand new, very comfortable and nicely decorated. Rooms are very spacious and there is a fantastic rooftop for sunset. The guest house also offers the possibility to try delicious home-cooked food, which we highly recommend. Another stellar asset of the Guest House is the owner, Anshul. He took great care of us and the other guests by supporting us with all our needs regarding transport and logistics in Jodhpur. In addition, he spent a great deal of time showing us around the city. We had a wonderful time discovering local street food with him. He really made us feel part of the family. You arrive as a guest and you leave as a friend. Overall, this was by far the best stay during one month in India. Jodhpur Palace Guest House is the place to stay in Jodhpur.

A beautiful stay from beginning to end. Warmly welcomed by the lovely family. Great conversations with them and lovely meals served by them. We also went on a great tour of the city with the guide Yogi who the family can introduce you too.
