Our 3 nights stay in the Royal Dutch Suite was a great experience. The suite has an elegant, classic design, three rooms, a private balcony, 2 TVs, a very comfy, huge bed and a jacuzzi bathtub. The staff was very friendly, everyone always tried to make things perfect for us. The hotel has a very nice rooftop pool with a beautiful view. The water is fresh, crows and pigeons also enjoy it... ;) We received tips and help on how to explore the city. The noise from the naval construction site was the only downside. I hope they finish soon... Dr Sneha and the therapists at Prana-Spa were very professional and helped us find deep relaxation. The table for our Candle Light Dinner, on top of the clock tower, at “Cupids Point”, must definitely be one of the best in town. We’ll be back...

We stayed at Fragrant nature cochin on 29th December for a night. We were a family of 4 and stayed in interconnecting rooms on the fourth floor. The operations manager Hari Krishnan was Absolutely wonderful . He was not only very welcoming but helped to change our reservation around quickly so we could have interconnecting rooms and also helped to arrange accommodation for our driver which was so very helpful. About the hotel - it’s as charming as you see in the pictures. A true impression of what you would expect of Fort Cochin. Small , quaint , cosy and absolutely beautiful with bright yellow walls, very high open to sky light ceiling in central atrium with rooms all around… openness , comfort and luxury. We have stayed in all the 5 star properties in Cochin , having lived here for many years and happen to be hoteliers ourselves ( Aveda Kumarakom ) so when we rate this property and say it’s one of the best places to stay in Fort Cochin - it really is. Rooms are big, comfortable and luxurious. You can see a lot of attention has gone into details - beautiful tiles used on the floors and bathrooms , lamps and soft furnishings to say a few Thank you Fragrant nature team. You shall see us many many more times.

We stayed at the hotel from the 28th of December until the 2nd of January. The hotel is beautiful and very clean. Our room was spacious and included everything that we needed to make our stay comfortable. We stayed in one of the cheapest rooms and the only downside was that we didn't have a balcony. However, the rooftop pool offered spectacular views of the day to day life of the docks. The food and restaurant service was excellent. We were staying at the hotel on a half board basis and every night we were able to choose delicious dishes from the menu, trying lots of local southern Indian curries. Our waitress Phenwan did everything possible to make our dining experience pleasant. We were lucky enough to experience the Gala Dinner on New Year's Eve and that was truly amazing. My daughter used the hotel Spa and felt totally refreshed and relaxed after the experience. We also booked two excursions via the hotel and we were very pleased with the service.

Stayed here for 3 nights as part of a group tour. The bedroom was very comfortable and the bathroom/shower room was a delight. The hotel is spotlessly clean and the staff very amenable and helpful. Dinner is served on the top floor and breakfast on the ground floor. The food was of an acceptable standard and there is room for improvement here. Staff in the breakfast room found it difficult to cope with the needs of everyone, and were not very coordinated - some essential items e.g. milk and cereal were not replenished and had to be requested. WIFI was fine once I managed to get connected. Beware, if you are a spirit drinker, the bar prices are even higher than those in the UK. A double gin and tonic cost me over £12. Overall I had a very pleasant and enjoyable stay and would not hesitate to return. Great swimming pool too with lovely views.

We stayed 4 nights over the New Year period, which included a very well organised gala dinner. The hotel is small and friendly with lovely staff whose primary roll is to please it’s guests. The rooms are very spacious and clean. The hotels location is well situated should you wish to explore the old town tourist sites on foot.

We were a group of 9 (6 adults and 3 kids) and had booked 4 rooms for 1 night at the property. We had requested for an early check-in and they did manage to give us 2 out of 4 rooms much before their usual check in time. The hotel lobby when we entered gave a much required refreshing holiday vibe. The colours and decor used in the hotel are beautiful.
Check-in was smooth and their staff at the front desk were very helpful. We were allotted 4 adjacent rooms (2 set of connecting rooms). The rooms were big and nice done. The bathrooms were functional.
The pool at the terrace had amazing views and we all had a good time relaxing there. We had our lunch and breakfast in the restaurant and food was good. However they didnt have many options for local food.
We had ordered in-room dining for dinner and food was very neatly packed / covered.
Over all we had a great time.. Looking forward to spend a longer vacation in the property sometime soon

What an incredible hotel, centrally located and an amazing team that keep Fragrant Nature Kochi at it's well deserved 5 star rating. The facilities are modern, well maintained and spotlessly clean set amongst a backdrop of artistic flair and beautiful design. The rooftop pool, clock tower terrace, entrance lobby and lounge areas are relaxing, comfortable and plush. The rooftop pool is immaculately clean and such a treat during the evenings especially to watch Cochin sunsets. Each staff member added to our wonderful experience from cool manager Hari to friendly reservation manager Gibson to kind receptionist Sukanya to the courteous security team to the helpful and friendly dining teams... it is a home away from home in a great location in Fort Kochi. Chef Honey gave us a cooking demo and his friendly banter and informative cooking lesson is definitely a must-do experience when in Kochi. Every meal is delicious and intricately crafted with health consciousness and organic ingredients in mind. Breakfast is a vast array of tasty traditional and continental dishes which are fresh and tantalizing to the tastebuds. The spa is beautiful and the complimentary treatment was a lovely gesture. The rates are well worth the facilities and Gibson extends service to make your stay as easy as possible for your mind and wallet. I highly recommend this hotel for your stay in Cochin. A hotel located at a not so busy area of Fort Cochin, pleasant yellow colored exterior radiates warmth and elegance. I walked into a magnificent atrium lobby with classic paintings and uniquely designed interior.
Front Office: The RDM Mr. Gibbson and GSA Ms. Princy made me comfortable first and then started with the check-in procedures. They even accompanied me to my room and made sure I was comfortable.
Royal themed rooms: Unlike most 5 star hotels in Kerala, FNR Cochin stands out by having concept based rooms under each category. Every theme has a story to say. It was surprising that the budget friendly rates had not compromised any facilities provided and that made my stay quite luxurious!
Dining and F&B Service:
Zamorin has a wide range of cuisines, sauced out with utmost perfection. The menu specifies the ingredients, making it easy for the guests to pick and choose if they have any allergies. The Chef (Chef Abhilash) and service team (Bibin, Prince, Narbada) made sure that my custom made requirements were taken care. Room service was well handled by Gokul.
House Keeping: The rooms were well kept and the amenities were luxurious.Thanks to Nithin and Basil.
Prana Spa: The Ayurveda Spa offers an array of services and products that would sponge off all your stress, especially if you had a tiring journey. The interior was designed in a unique fashion giving a completely different experience as compared to most spas in the state. Sophia is polite and well trained. She is an asset to the firm.
GM and Management: The property speaks for the focus and dedication of the management. The happy faces of staff reflect the care and comfort they receive, which directly contributes to the overall guest experience they provide.
The GM of the property Mr. Hari, a young gentleman who runs the entire show shared his valuable time to show us round the property and explained in detail, the facilities at the hotel and the history of Fort Cochin.
I was fortunate enough to meet the Management team during checkout. Their simplicity and warmth once again made me realize how it reflected in the elegance of the place.

This is my 6th trip to India from the USA and I found this hotel to exceed ALL expectations! The photos are 100% accurate… the hotel is stunning and has the best location in Fort Kochi . Fragrant Nature is cleaner than the Marriott, and much more comfortable! We were lucky enough to get a suite with an ocean view room. There was a separate living area and the balcony is HUGE! A nice change from basic tiny box hotel rooms. The roof top pool and restaurant is the best view in the city! The food was soooo good! Every menu item is fresh and prepared to perfection. They provide room service at the same cost as the restaurants (which is great when traveling with children, or jet lagged guests) and the breakfast buffet has everything! We spent many evenings playing cards in the beautiful bar. The drinks were always perfectly mixed and the bartenders amazing! The real jewel of the hotel is the staff and management team ! The service was exceptional! They could not have been kinder to us and our 18 month old baby. They were helpful, attentive, fun, and always smiling! We genuinely looked forward to seeing them everyday. We left with new friends and a new favorite hotel ❤️ I am not one to usually leave reviews, but I truly enjoyed our time here!

The stay was comfortable with the rooms being spacious, hygienic along with amenities provided. The breakfast was tasty with a mix of Kerala special dishes, South and North Indian options and Continental that caters for everyone. We liked the the hotel as soon as we entered as it looked exactly the way it was shown in the pictures with nice paintings and interiors. The rooms and bathrooms were spacious. Every staff member was friendly and gave us personal attention. Special thanks to receptionist Sukanya and manager Gibbson for the assistance throughout. The hotel is conveniently located closer to all the historic places in Fort Kochi. The hotel has a beautiful Roof top restaurant and Swimming pool with wonderful views to the harbour side. If one is looking for a 5 star hotel in Fort Kochi at an affordable price, this is the best option. Will definitely come back to this hotel

Hi, the room is big enough, but frankly speaking, I wouldn't do that . Some of the Duke's Chamber rooms are "connencted" with a door so I think the better option is to book 2 such rooms.
There are more places to choose from in the Kochi (Cochin) area.
