Such a lovely couple who runs this place, they couldn't have been friendlier when we arrived a little earlier than checkin time and my partner being unwell. We got a very friendly welcome and lots of advice on where to go. Sheeba gave me quite a few of her special recipes, which i have tried at home with great success already! The rooms are adequate, not huge, but the bed is very comfy and the shower lovely and cool. The location was nice and quiet but close by all the central amenities. Breakfast was so delicious with lovely indian food but also toast if you wanted it. I really hope we can go there again some day. all the best. Anja & Sieger

The welcome could not have been more warm at this charming homestay. Greenwoods Bethlehem has an air of tranquility, with simple but comfortable rooms, a lush garden, and a charming rooftop area. Most of all, we appreciated our hosts, who were very kind and always available to help with advice and suggestions. They seem to treat their guests like family and I’d be happy to return any time!

Despite a very warm welcome from the owners, who could not have been more hospitable , we were very disappointed with the room we had. It was filthy (as was the bathroom) and the air-conditioning did not work. The curtains allowed lots of light in too. This place is one of two places highly recommended in the last Lonely Planet, however I’m sure in the next it won’t be

Really loved this place. I had a comfortable and quit room with nice view of the beautiful green garden. The hosts are so nice and loving, really felt like family from the first moment. They took good care of me and helped me with arranging everything I needed. In the morning I enjoyed an amazing home cooked breakfast on the rooftop terrace, that obviously was prepared with a lot of love and care. The area was nice and quiet, but not to far from the restaurants and places of interest. Hope to come back and would definitely recommend!

I would really recommend this homestay when staying in Kochi. It´s located very central so you can easily exploreKochi by foot. Besides that, it´s a really beautiful and clean homestay. But most important: the hosts. They really made us feel at home and were super kind people. Must stay to experience local and warm homestay.

Often the best things that happen to you are not planned and happen by chance. I was travelling solo, was on a workation in Kerala, and was already in Fort Kochi. It was by chance that I got to know about Greenwood Bethlehem homestay, but I was truly glad that I came to stay in this beautiful place. I stayed there for a whole week. Sheeba and Ashley were such lovely hosts- very welcoming, warm-hearted and helpful people. They greeted me with a big smile each time from the first day to the last. I enjoyed the home-made breakfast that Sheeba cooked for me every morning. The room was cozy and comfortable. I felt like I was at my home. They have a small garden as well which enhances the ambience of this place and makes it so peaceful. The beach is at a walkable distance. The cafes and restaurants are located within a couple of Kms from this place, else one can always order from Swiggy. The auto-rickshaws are available right outside on the main road. One of the best memories of my stay were the heart-to-heart conversations I had with Sheeba in the evenings after work. Sheeba is a very sweet and a caring lady. She was almost like a motherly-figure to me. I would recommend Greenwood Bethlehem homestay to anyone who is visiting Fort Kochi, and I would definitely stay at this place again.

As soon as I walked into the wonderful garden of Green Woods Bethlehem I knew that I would enjoy my 2 nights there... After a very warm welcome from Sheeba and Ashley I was shown to my gorgeous cosy bedroom, full of character, and just perfect to feel home and relaxed. Loved the big terrace where I was served copious and tasty breakfasts and where the guests can meet and exchange their experience of wonderful Fort Kochi. Sheeba is a warm and caring host and would always be available to help and give you ideas to make your stay more enjoyable. The homestay is just a few minutes walking distance from the main attractions (cute little shops, restaurants, harbour etc) but was quiet and peaceful. Overall I loved the place and will certainly stay there again on my next trip to South India. I definitely recommend Green Woods Bethlehem to anybody who is planning to visit Fort Kochi!

We booked to stay with Sheeba and Ashley over Christmas 2019. It was our third stay at Green Woods and we hope to return again one day as it’s such a special homely place. The location is quiet and green, the breakfast is delicious (and different every morning) — but the best bit is the hosts. Sheeba and Ashley are so welcoming, visiting Green Woods is honestly like staying with friends. One of the nicest parts of staying at Green Woods is breakfast time as you sit together and share a meal with friendly guests from across the world — it’s a great way to meet people and share stories and tips about India. Enjoy.

We stayed 2 nights on new year eve. The place is quite and clean. The owners are very friendly and helpful. It’s located in a garden and not on the main road ( closed to). The rooms are ok. Some problems with a/c. Breakfast are good. Recommended
